Who's seen this movie? If not, you should. Snake is one of the coolest characters made, and Solid Snake was based off him.
Just don't buy into the remake, please. Gerard Butler cannot overtake Kurt Russel.
I own it. [In fact, my copy may be some type of director's cut or something, I don't recall] It is a great movie. And it was crazy when I first realized Solid Snake was based off of Snake Plissken. Oh, and Kurt Russell is great. [Also, go watch Captain Ron.]

Kurt Russel and the movie do kick ass. That's why it's such a shame they're remaking it.`
