Your first portable and console?

My first console(s) were the NES and SNES; Both gotten on the same day from the same person at the exact same timing as handmedowns.

My first portable was the original Game Boy; I really wanted a game boy color but my way older sister had no clue of the difference so she just gave me her gameboy.

What console and portable got you into gaming, NSFCD?

Console played: N64 or SNES. Still a bit fuzzy on that.
Console I owned: Gamecube was the first one I had all to myself.
Portable played: Game Boy Brick.
Portable I owned: Teal Game Boy Color. 'Twas a present, and I still have it in working condition.

My first console was technically the NES, but it wasn't mine until my brother got his Playstation on release in the mid 90's so I'd have to say my SNES was the first console I owned.

My First was either my Genesis or my SNES. I forgot which I had first.

My First Portable was actually a GBA.

My first console was SNES, but we had NES too somewhere.

The first game I can remember playing was FFII SNES.
To this day it's my favorite game.
