Chapter 9, part 3, clash!

Poke' district border

As Mario hit the ground again, the blue haired man started to draw nearer.
Blood started to drip out of mario's mouth, as he looked up at his opponent.

"Give up now, fool!" he said, pointing his sword at the plumber's head, "or else you will die!"
Mario jumped upwards, and raised his fist into the air. As he started to descend, Mario punched the man's face with brutal force.

The man flew back, and hit the ground hard.
As Mario landed on both his feet, he wiped the blood from his mouth.
"we mean no harm!" Mario yelled, trying to reason with the man, "just let us through!"

The man got back up. A large bruise was now on his forehead.
"I won't let you pass!" yelled the man, as he dashed towards Mario.
The man's sword started to turn a light purple colour.

Mario crossed his arms, and in a flash, a red-coloured orb emmited around him.
The man's sword came down, and in one swipe, the orb shattered.
Mario flew into the air, and hit the ground hard.

Red stared at his fallen partner in fear.
"Oh no! Mario's down! Oh, what can I do?"
"Pika!" said Pikachu, as he leaped towards the swordsman.
"Pikachu!" yelled Red.

"He might need some help!" he said to himself, as he reached into his pocket.
He took out a white and red metal ball.
"Charizard!" he yelled, as he threw the ball at the ground.

In a second, the ball automatically opened. a bright light emmited from it.
The swordsman was slightly blinded by this.
Once the light dulled, an orange coloured dragon appeared.

"Now, attack that one!" Yelled red.
The dragon inhaled, and blew fire out of his mouth.
Then Pikachu fired a lightning bolt.

The two attacks combined, and was headed straight for the man.
Before the man knew what hit him, he was hit head-on.
He screamed in pain, as he hit the ground once again.

After about twenty seconds, he stood up again.
His sword was snapped in two.
"Oh no! he's not down yet!" Red thought to himself.

The man started to laugh a bit.
"Why are you laughing?!" Red asked.
"I give up!" Said the man.

"What?!" red said, suprised.
"Without my sword, I can't fight!" He said.
Red just stared aimlessley at him.

"Your friend there needs medication, come into my town." The man said as he walked out of the border. "...That was awkward..." Red said to himself.
"Pika!" yelled Pikachu.

How the hell did he brake my sword?! The man thought, there's more to this...boy than I thought..

Bern district, mountain region

Link clashed again with the man's engulfed blade.
"Persistant one... eh?" the man said.
"I won't die!" Link yelled, as he pushed even harder.

The master sword scraped against the man's sword until finally Link over powered him.
Link pushed the man, dropping his guard. This was Link's chance.
He leaped at the man and slashed.

but the thing his sword hit was the man's blue chest plate.
The man pushed Link back.
Link quickly took out a bomb. he threw it into the air, and then took out his gale boomerang.

What's he planning? the man wondered. His cape blowing in the wind.
Then, Link threw his boomerang towards the aerial bomb.
The bomb got caught into the boomerang's whirwind.

I hope this works! Link thought, as the boomerang headed towards the man.

As the boomerang made contact with the man's sword, a large explosion errupted.
Pieces flew everywhere, as a cloud of smoke appeared.
With all the smoke in his face, The man couldn't see that Link was now charging at him.

In a flash, Link appeared out of the smoke, and slashed the man's chest.
As Blood gushed out of the large gash, the man fell to the ground.
dangit! how could I be so weak? The man thought as everything went black.

Link sheathed the master sword, and walked up to the fallen warrior.
He reached into his pocket and took out a bottle filled with a red liquid.

Ike and Pit walked through a wide open field.
"I wonder where we are?" Ike asked.

"I'm not sure..." Pit replied.
"Your an angel, aren't you suppoed to know these kind of things?!" ike asked.
"sorry..." Pit said sadly.

Just then, they heard a loud noise.
"What was that?" Ike asked.
"It sounded like the sound of a jet engine.." Pit said.

"Well, lets follow it!" Ike yelled as  began to run to where the sound came from.

Samus walked out of her orange-coloured ship. She had landed on a nearby cliff. The sun was rising. Soon it would be day-time.
"Now scaning..." she said, as her visor glew.

She looked around for a bit, then she saw two people running towards her location.
"Well, two armed figures eh? One has a sword, the other has a bow... This should be fun...." samus said, as she switched her arm cannon to missle mode.

You know when you shield a red orb surrounds you...
Marth's B attack breaks it when it's fully charged.

And besides, Marth is the only other swordsman in melee, since Link and Roy are fighting...
