Metroid 2, hands down.  The original has monochrome graphics, lack of a diagonal aim, and hard to navigate world.

Not that I've played it.  I know about that stuff.  Get a remake along the lines of Metroid Zero Mission, and add a copy of the original, and I'll buy it in a heartbeat!

I don't think it needs as much of a remake right now...  but that's you.  You might change your mind after playing Metroid 2 or hearing of what it has.  Anyway, it's a rare game in the first place.

Agreed. That game needs a serious facelift. I couldn't stand to play all the way through it, which is really sad considering I'm a Metroid fan.

Let's hope it is.  I mean, who wouldn't want to revisit Johto with better graphics (plus, we don't  have to worry about an internal battery dying out).

Besides that, I'd have to ask for all the Mother games on a DS card if possible.  That'd be nice.  I mean, if that game didn't become a top seller, Oldsider would come back.

Honestly, I don't think they will make a G/S remake. R/B/G were the first in the series. R/S and D/P are more popular to kids, and isn't D/P the best selling of the series? GameFreak really doesn't have much reason to remake G/S.
