Ever tried Gimp Talk?

If you don't mind doing something slightly illegal, crack Photoshop CS3 and use the tutorials found practically everywhere.

That's not to say that the tutorials can't be applied to Gimp, I'd just reccomend CS3. I found it less confusing, and faster.

Why do people always say Gimp is confusing?  I'm dumb as hell when it comes to computer programs in general, but I found Gimp easier to use than Photoshop.  Eh, I guess I own at working overly-complicated things.

That's what I do. I checked as much as I could. And just couldn't find tuts that would help me get any better. So I do Ps tuts in Gimp.

Thats a good tut for the super beginner with no knowledge, I prefer to tell begginers in Gimp to use filters instead of a solid background, it looks better and is just as simple.

Btw, I'm pretty sure you can go to The GIMP Thread on the Nsider Archive. There are some tutorials still there.
