Both times I've been to Olive Garden, I didn't have much of an issue. Maybe I've just lucked out?

Olive Garden is legit. I'd go there for breadsticks and salad alone.

If you like Olive Garden you haven't tried real Italian food, period. Their food is gross. The breadsticks are the best i've ever had, but everything else tastes like a microwave meal from Walmart. I went there for just a salad before and they even managed to intercourse  that up by drowning it in dressing.

Like I said, heavily varies by location. They have some authentic soups that are pretty good, and their pizza isn't bad at all.

My issue lies with their grill dishes, pastas, and basically everything else.

Carraba's is better.

Red Robin and Olive Garden have been pretty good when I went there.
