It's not pretty, but it's functional. The final product will be much better.



If you'd like to DJ, follow these steps.

• First, you'll need to download Winamp, if you haven't already. http://www.winamp.com
• After that, install the Shoutcast DSP, located here: http://www.shoutcast.com/downloads/shoutcast-dsp-1-9-0-windows.exe
  Mac version: http://www.shoutcast.com/downloads/sc_trans_posix_040.tgz
• Install that, and then in Winamp, go to Options, Preferences, and then click "DSP/Special Effect" in the left hand side.
  Double click the Nullsoft Shoutcast thing, and use these settings:
  Address: 66.197.252.165
  Port: 6990
  Password: PM me to get it.


• Then, go to the Encoder tab. Use these settings:
  Encoder Type: MP3 Encoder
  Encoder Settings: 80kbps, 22.050KHz, Stereo
• Finally, go to the Yellowpages button, and type the name, which is Nsider Radio, your name (DJ [insert name here]), and the site as this site.

To use microphone while DJing:

• Double click speaker icon in system tray
• Click Options, Properties, and then the Recording option. Make sure Microphone has a check next to it. Click OK.
• Click the "Select" box under Microphone, then click Advanced, and turn Mic Boost on. If it's not there, don't worry. Also, put the mic volume slider at max.
  
• Go to Winamp, and the Shoutcast window. Click Input, change to Soundcard Input, and talk. Once done, return it back to Winamp Input.

Zovi's X's are different colored because he is taking precedent over Rio's show on Fridays.
This schedule is flexible, and may change. I'll add more DJs when I get time.

The server only lets me do 64kbps, but I'm going ahead and doing 80.

I'd like to see you find a better free host that's willing to let us broadcast at 80kbps, sir.
