YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In what is thankfully (and yet, somehow pathetically) the greatest and most anticipated advance in Pokemon gaming history, Melee! Pokemon Scramble! (http://www.serebii.net/melee/) is the first Pokemon game to finally have real time battling!!! For download on WiiWare for 1500 points on June 16th in Japan (meaning probably pretty soon here, too), the game features the ultimate, or at least first, Pokemon battle royale. Play with up to 4 total players at a time as you control chibi Pokemon Ranch-style Pokemon to progress through the story and overworld, fight swarms of enemies in arenas, and of course, collect and power-up more Pokemon as you go along. Each Pokemon can have 2 attacks at a time, though you can change those to new moves just like the other games do with 4 attacks at a time, and you can even save your Pokemon onto a Wiimote and take them to another Wii!
I don't care if it's chibi, WiiWare, and took too long to get here; Real Time Pokemon fighting is FINALLY here, and I'm buying this game on day 1!!!!!!!
I'm just as glad as you are, but to be honest... this looks like it's going to be a real piece of poop game.
This looks like it could be fun. It almost reminds me of Pokemon Stadium.
Are my suggestions actually being used!?
I'm so buying this game.
This game....uh....looks like crap.
Seriously, Pokemon TOYS!?
looks cool. I'm kind of mad that nintendo is cranking out all this new cool stuff after I've spent all my money.
LIES! Seriously, what the heck. Nintendo has released only shovelware. Casual shovelware.
A good idea is a good idea, and even if this game does suck, it at least means Nintendo isn't against the idea of real time Pokemon.
I've waited 10 years for this freaking game, and I'm buying it first chance I get.
Video.
Heck yeah I'm buying this.
Also, Official Japanese Site. (http://www.pokemon.co.jp/special/pokemonscramble/)
Wow, looks like reverse SEGA to me. Horrible graphics but awesome gameplay! (looks like it anyway)
I so want this!

I wasn't talking about the wii ware. Or shovel ware...
Yeah, I'm still buying it.
...Chibi Pokemon are cute. =3
You guys are aware this is made by the company in charge of Pokémon spinoffs, right? As in, quality titles like My Pokémon Ranch. Yeah. I'm not looking forward to it.
My friend told me about this yesterday, but he couldn't remember the name so I was like "Pokemon Battle Scramble Melee, wtf?!" But the concept is interesting, I guess; not the Pokemon iteration I wanted, but meh. For some reason, this reminds me of Amazing Island...

Duh; it's the 100% exact same chibi models as Ranch. We're just really excited that the concept has finally become reality; it's a preview of what's possibly and hopefully to come, and to me, that's worth a mere $15.

It's not the same concept at all. It's hectic and fast paced. From what we can see, each has only a handful of moves, and they are crazily simplistic. There is no guidance to it. If that's what Pokémon fans want, then I must really be out of touch. I wanted a fully fleshed out game that gave me a chance to explore with reason. Not bullpoop. And since when are Pokémon tinker toys?

The concept I was referring to is just to have a real time fighting Pokemon game to begin with, which this
is even though specifics like speed and simplicity are different. This is a WIIWARE game; we are all fully aware that it's not fully fleshed out. If you had been paying any attention at all to my posts, you'd realize all this and see that yes, this isn't perfect, or even close, but it's the first step in that direction that we've ever gotten outside of Super Smash Bros., and we're excited about that.
$15? I'll need to save a little money, but I'll eventually buy it.

You're implying I'm not reading your posts. Which is pretty far off, considering my task is to moderate. I read every post, and carefully, so I will leave that at that.
It isn't at all the first step. Half assed attempts won't sell well. Nintendo, like any business, will see the lack of sales, and think "hey, if that didn't work, why would a fully fleshed out attempt work?". That's a problem. Imagine if I started selling coffee in my pizza shop. I sell one cup a week. Why would I ever consider expanding into exotic coffee? If anything, I'd ditch selling coffee and go back to what I know I can do - pizza - or in this case, simple RPG's that are turn based.
You need to come at this with a business perspective. Not a mindless 4 year old i plai pogeymanz one.

Half assed attempts won't sell well? This IS Nintendo we're talking about, right?
This reminds me of Pokemon Stadium for the N64. Only, this game seems too chaotic to me. It doesn't seem like real Pokemon battling, more like little mini games like that old N64 game I mentioned above. From what I've seen I'm not too interested, but I'll wait for more information before I make any promises.
