2. You're likely to be a Celtic bandwagoner.

3. Our balls don't touch in hockey.  there's a remote possibility of getting balls in the face playing basketball.  Ergo, Hockey is less gay.

4. Hockey has players all over the world, not players just from the states.

5. Hockey is an international sport with international interest.

6. The Stanley Cup has been around longer than the sport of Basketball.

7. It's far more entertaining to watch.  In basketball you expect a basket basically every time a team runs up the court.  In hockey, you get spectacular saves and spectacular goals.

8. The squeaking sound annoys me.
