My ears are ringing, my feet are hurting, and I am still trying to slow myself down :O
Basically, our prom was a 3-hour glowstick rave. The DJ was amazing and delivered nonstop hard house and techno remixes of stuff, with actual mixing on 2 high-quality CDJ's :) I was one of the first ones there and one of the last stubborn people to leave (along with four of my friends, two of which made off with two huge garbage bags of free soda and cookies).
Man it was awesome. Freaking awesome. A freaking glowstick rave prom. Yeahhhhhh.

Sounds like you had fun.
My last school dance was Homecoming, but I went to a Quinces if that counts, last week.
They were so much. I enjoy dancing so I always have a great time at parties. ;D

Well last year it was my senior prom. I went with my date who she also invited her loud, obnoxious cousin to come with us. We danced to some ok music. But most of the time it was just reggaeton if not then rap. Then her cousin was being stupid and it made my date really mad to the point where she just wanted to leave already. So we left and ended up bowling and playing some Wii Sports.

the DJ did play an obligatory Soulja Boy, but it was a semi-awesome remix that was actually kinda good because the beat was nice and hard.
Oh hell yeah! I love rave parties at school, only their usually for the last hour or so of the dance, but their worth it.
I'd have enjoyed our prom if they had played more of that. The only songs they played that weren't rap and/or hip hop was one swing song and one ska song. Both of which I missed sadly.
My school only has homecoming, which I only plan on going to for the next 2 years, because:
A.) Junior homecoming, there's only 3 candidates for queen, and 3 other candidates for king besides me, and everyone else is a moron
B.) Senior homecoming, "
