Vista is an operating system. Nothing particularly interesting or surprising. Pretty far from "something else."

I haven't noticed much of a speed difference from FF, faster or slower (yes, that's taking Fasterfox into consideration). The only reasons I prefer using Opera are because it's less of a resource hog, because I like my Opera skin more than any skins on Firefox, and because I don't give a poop about add-ons.
They're really not tremendously different in speed. For me, the difference is unnoticeable.

Opera intercourse ing sucks. It doesn't help that it's being run on a Mac.
Using Opera is not suggested unless you are either gay, retarded, Norwegian or all of the above. This is probably not an issue since nobody actually uses Opera, making it the only browser less popular than links.

I haven't had too many problems with vista yet... i just got my laptop two days ago and i'm almost completely adjusted by this point. sometimes i randomly can't click though, but that's probably due to me using a touchpad & clicker buttons.

Even though I don't use Opera like you and Silver, I still have it installed for when I upload crap to Megaupload/Blip.tv. Some error with Firefox prevents me from uploading to those sites correctly.

Not really. Fanboyism is more on the lines of "FIREFOX SUX!!!1" OPERA IS TEH BEST EVAR~!!!!!!!!!"
I use Firefox occasionally, because Opera sometimes has some compatibility issues.
