Yeah, that's a little bit excessive. :P

Really, though, if a few people have huge (in terms of kb) sigs here and there, I don't care. If everyone's start slowing down page load times, then we have to enforce rules.

So just keep them within reason.   :robothappy:

Star's sig is almost 6MB?  That explains why my crappy connection almost comes to a stop every time I click something he posts in.

I set Opera to render pages after 5 seconds, and I actually noticed the lag because of it, that's how I found out last month.
