Veterans in your opinion were buffed/nerfed *spoilers*

Mario- Buffed: most of his attacks are stronger. The only problem is FLUDD. It's useless...

Link- somewhat buffed/nerfed: His range is longer and attacks are stronger, but a little slower

Kirby- Buffed: his aerial side B now kills. Stronger attacks too, but shorter range

Pikachu-nerfed: his attacks do a little less damage now.

Peach- nerfed: recovery isn't as good as it was in melee, and attacks are less powerful

Zelda- Buffed: Dins' fire is now helpful, attacks are extremely powerful

Sheik-nerfed: not as strong as she was in melee

Yoshi- Buffed: his up B is now a recovery, and attacks are a little stronger

Bowser- Buffed: attacks power is stronger, and a little faster

Donkey Kong- nerfed: slower, and spike moves are difficult to hit

Ice climbers- Nerfed a little: thier up B isn't as good as it was in melee

Captain Falcon- Nerfed: slower and B moves aren't as strong anymore

Jiggly puff- Buffed: it's attacks are stronger, and recovery is somewhat better

Luigi-Buffed: up B now has horizontal movement after you use it. and is stronger

Ness: buffed: attacks are stronger, and PK thunder is easier to handle.

Fox: nerfed: attacks are not strong anymore and blaster has limited reach now.

Falco-buffed/nerfed: some attacks are quite strong now, but his up B is horrible.

Marth- Nerfed: reach is smaller, so is grabbing reach. harder to hit with tip of blade

Game and Watch- Buffed: up B is a great recovery, and is more powerful

Samus- Nerfed: B moves aren't as strong, and FS isn't that strong

Gnondorf- Buffed/nerfed: attacks are stronger, but is slow as hell.

Remember, this is my opinion so no trash talkin' it. :)

I agree with G&W and his UP B. But his Neutral Air was nerfed. :(
So now i find myself playing a lot different with this G&W.

I don't use G&W, but his up B is much better now.

I'm too lazy to write out my opinions, but I'll say that Pikachu was actually buffed. D-Smash is rape.
