I'm thinking about getting a DSLite

Ok, my old DS is beginning to wear down. I lost the stylus recently and the screen is beginning to wack out on me. Should I get a Lite or wait and see if Nintendo's workin on a new handheld system?

I haven't heard anything about a new handheld, I don't know how long handhelds usually stick around for, but I think DS is probably hear to stay for a little bit. I'd buy a Lite.

Get it. Besides, I have no idea what the next Nintendo handheld console will be. I have a DS Lite, but not a regular DS, and I recommend you buy it.

Nintendo won't come out with a new model of the DS anytime soon. It is still selling like crazy, so maybe 2 more years. But there will definitely be a few more colors..

I'm also thinking about getting a DS Lite because my R-button doesn't work anymore. I think you can also transfer your data from your other DS to the Lite, but I'm not sure because I've done it before but it was from a regular DS to another Regular DS!

There is nothing that a DS can do with a DS that a DS cannot do with a DSLite.

I traded in my old DS (mind you, I got it the weekend after the thing launched) recently and got a lite.  Best decision I've ever made.  The screen is much brighter and easier to see, and it's a lot smaller.
