The cold air numbed his body as he progressed through the forest. It was a bumpy ride and on a wild horse - it was far from pleasant, but he needed to make the journey. Weaving in and out of the trees was dangerous, but he knew he must avoid the narrow road at all costs, or he would perish. Nighttime was unrelenting; his vision was nonexistent under what seemed like an eclipse, and the cold....oh how he despised it. After what seemed like days, he made his way to his destination. The tiny village had a few lanterns out hanging, and mottle danced in front of him. However, there was nary a soul in sight.
After dismounting the foul beast, he stepped forward into the center of town.
"Sirs and Misses, I request thee. Please, come forth, as I have terrible news," he proclaimed.
Ever so slowly, fires started burning in the homes, and out stepped the village populace. They gathered around, mystified, and stood petrified, seemingly frozen in time.
"I come from London. Nearby villages, such as Birkshire, have been plagued by demons from the East. I have followed these monsters, but to no avail. Every village they have reached to this point they have decimated. You see, three vampires have emerged from Hell. They settle down and mingle with the townsfolk, and it is my belief that amongst you, the three reside. Furthermore, other such fiends have followed them from the pits of Hell....the vampires know naught of them, but they are loyal to them-"
"That's fine and dandy," a man chirped up, "but we're already dealing with a Serial Killer amongst our ranks. Our tiny village can't handle that, but we are trying. In order to stop them, we've been burning and lynching those that we sense to be the killer...but the killings have kept occurring, and from no vampire. We went from 50 to the scarce few we have now."
"I come to help. We'll use your law system to find the monsters, as they are here....I sense it." He replied.
"Sarge, Sarge! Isabella died...and it seems from a bite to the neck...." a woman screamed.
"That's it, let's get involved before this is too late.
The Lone Horseman is in play. Lone Horseman is the moderator of the lynchings, as he is known to be innocent. Votes and the like go to him. Mackormoses is the Lone Horseman.
So, you read my prelude. I'm not that good of a writer, but hopefully your attention has been grabbed. This WereWolf will follow the footsteps of Riddler Robs, and hopefully be semi good.
For those of you that haven't played a werewolf before, you act as a town, or in this case, a village. During the day, accusations are made, revelations about whom died occur, and the lynchings also occur (after a pm vote). Night is when special abilities are used - and vampires choose whom to kill.
This is a game of deception...the innocent want to stay alive, while the vampires and Serial Killer opt to avoid detection, and fool their counterparts the townsfolk.
In order to win:
-As an innocent, you must eliminate the SK and evil forces.
-As a member of the evil forces, you must outnumber the townsfolk.
-The Serial Killer must be the last man standing.
Rules:
1. You may never reveal a pm from me, nor may you say I have said a thing....be it false or not.
2. Lynch votes must be pm'd to me, and may not be posted. The user with the most votes against them dies.
3. Once dead, you may not talk in this thread.
4. Abilities must be used in the phase noted in the pm you will receive.
5. Phases will always end at 9 PM PST....which is 10 my time. Each will last one day. This means that a day in game is 48 hours in our time.

Well, from this point all I can say is good luck to all.
The sun began to rise, and overhead the full moon descended. A howl was heard....a bone chilling one. Mack knew what that meant....they were dealing with a Werewolf, too. He called them all back as the sun glimmered, and counted....16 he found. The Serial Killer had been killing a lot, as they started with about 50. He needed to act quick, as with the dark forces around, the town would die out at two a night. In a matter of 6 days, or even less, they could perish. He needed to act quick, and started asking for lynch votes.
A werewolf has been heard.
The Lone Horseman is collecting Lynch Votes.
Deliberate as you will, but at 9 PST tomorrow night we lynch. PM me your votes at will.
Oh, and pm everyone on the list...make sure they play, k?

Well, there are three reasons why I understand why someone would do that.
1. To look cool and/or has a plan. This would result in raising your suspicion a lot.
2. Because they're busy. What if they never get around to it? This can result in a vote against yourself.
3. Because you're lazy/procrastination. If you were to push it off too long, then you can result in voting for yourself.
Those are the three main ones. Granted, there are several other reasons, and not everyone figures things the same way, but I think this is good enough.

2 Hours to get your votes in.
He grew weary as the day progressed. Knowing he had to stay awake, he just drank a mixture he had prepared before he left, a very potent one. Votes came in ever so slowly, and arguments began. Matt was being singled out - apparently he wasn't the same person as usual. Could it be the stress of dying soon on his mind? Or was he something more? Regardless, he felt his eyes droop. Finally, the clock tolled 10.
Here are the votes as I received them:
Matt: II

Jono: I

"Only eleven votes? That's terrible", he thought.
"There is a three way tie," he proclaimed, "thus, I'm putting the names into a hat, and whomevers name comes out....they are the first to be lynched."
He took of his hat, put the names of Link, Tuppy, and Matt in. After shaking it for about two minutes, he pulled the ticket out. It read:
Link.
The townsfolk grabbed him, and drug him to the gallows. Before they could attach the noose, he sunk to his knees and began to pray. The noose fit snugly on his neck...
...the stool was kicked out from under him, and as his neck made a terrifying noise, a cross dropped from his sleeve.
"It seems we've made a terrible mistake. This man was the Minister, a person of good faith and trust. He could override one lynching....except, obviously, that of his own.
Day Phase 1 has ended.
Night Phase 1 begins.
The Minister died at the hands of the townsfolk.

Ha, you took away my ability to post in this thread, but then there's the magic of editing. So I'll just say this. I. ALWAYS. DIE. AT. THE. BEGINNING!!!! >=(
Quit spamming up the thread, kthx.
Seriously guys. I've been away most of the day, and I come back to see your bullpoop. Enough, please, or we end the game prematurely. Grow up, take it to pms (not flaming, but the general spam/conspiracy, etc), and allow the game to progress. The night phase should not have that much discussion, as you await my move.
With that said, any more spam in this thread will result in removal of you from the game, ok?
Anyways, I'm closing up shop an hour early tonight, as I'll be busy tonight/tomorrow. So, use your abilities in the next half hour, or forever hold your peace.
See guys, you ruined the fun for the rest of us :(
So, we can go to said chat from the NSF client?
I'll have to try that next time i bother to log into chat...

Fine, I will be a good boy. Do me a favor, and tell Spam to stop playing 21 questions with me. I'm ready explode.
At the bar he lay, knocked out. Perhaps it was the eventful day, perhaps the whiskey. Who knew? Either way, the Horseman lay unconscious, surrounded by haze.
Elsewhere in the town, there was nothing but activity. Masteryounglink looked out his window, and licked his lips. He'd taste blood tonight.
After a slow transformation, he flew over to the cabin of Phaze. Inside was the boy, sitting perfectly still, with eyes wide open. Come to think of it, he hadn't seen Phaze move at all. Oh well. In one fell swoop, MYL transformed into a human, and devoured his neck. It was heaven.
After drinking his fill of blood, MYL looked around the room. He may as well relish this chance to indulge in his fantasy; looking into peoples lives. As he snooped, he found pictures, books dealing with the occult, and a number of other sick but amusing things.
He turned the handle to the closet.
"Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" was all he heard. One stab. Two stabs. Three. Each stabbing motion went further in, and into a more vital area. The blood he just indulged in came leaking out....and then....into his heart.
In his last moments, he saw a figure run off. That was the end of MYL.
On the other side of the village, another curious event occurred. The moon was oddly red, and with the full moon being only the previous night, still large. A man stepped out of the shadows, transforming into a beast. It too licked its lips, and it ran straight for Matt. Lunging through the window, glass shattering, and the beast in a frenzy. Matt tried to outdo it, but he couldn't outlast the kick to the temple. That was the end of Matt.
It transformed back, sighing, and went back to sleep in its home.
---
Daylight came, and Macks' head hurt. What a hangover. He went outside, and noticed only twelve remained. His heart sank.
The remaining group first went to Matt's home; it clearly had been the scene of a struggle, and they all knew what that meant. Inside was the remnants of Matt, and laying beside him was a gavel and scale. `Matt` was the Judge.
They moved down the street, to Phaze's home, where blood was running out from the door. Inside was a morbid sight - there, MYL lay with fangs out, and an oddly dead glow about his eyes. After checking him, they noticed marks on his body, signs of the devil. Masteryounglink was the Master Vampire. He died at the hands of the Serial Killer.
That wasn't the odd part, though. Phaze stood there, looking down at the mess. His neck was mutilated, but he stood.
"I live while dying," he spoke.
"Come, all, for we must gather around the Town Square," Mack commented.
The lot followed, knowing an explanation was in order.
"MYL was clearly a vampire, the head vampire at that. The Killer helped you all out big time. However, you lost the most respected member of your group, the Judge. Phaze here, though, is an oddity. While he was a mute as long as you've known him, he now speaks from the afterlife. He lives, while dead. While living, he was dead. He is clearly a Mystic, Speaker of the Beyond."
"Now is your time to shine. One vampire is down, but the Killer and two others remain rampant - as do their accomplices. At least the werewolf won't be bothering you, as the moon won't be full enough for them to activate their powers again. Whomever it was made a mistake, but they tried to help." he commented once again.
"Let us make the right lynching decision today"
Phaze was the Mystic, Speaker of the Beyond. This character could not speak, nor could they vote, while alive. In their death, they become a guaranteed vote. The townsfolk should count their blessings.
MYL was a vampire.
The werewolf used its one time kill to try and aid the people, but failed. The werewolf is now just a regular villager. *This is the vigilante role*
`Matt` was the Judge. Another person you could trust. The Judge gets twice as many lynch votes as the rest of you, totaling two.
The Serial Killer struck down the vampire MYL.
Day Phase 2 begins now.
Hm. That was an interesting night phase.
`Matt` walked out of his home into the eyes of the onlookers.
"Last night, the werewolf attacked me. You can surely tell. After brutalizing me, a man ran in and pulled me out of harms way, throwing chunks of meat around. He attacked the wolf, stunning it. We made our escape.
However, the werewolf has a taste for blood, and will want the vampires eliminated. Because its kill wasn't successful, and the presence of evil is still strong, it will need less moonlight - and be allowed to strike again, according to its curse. You see, the Werewolf was placed amongst us to protect us, not to harm us." with that he fainted, leaving the crowd in awe.
____
`Matt` was protected thanks to a clause in the powers of the Night Guard.
The werewolf may strike again.
Well this convenient... whoever the Night Guard is, we need to have a talk.

I'm just that amazing. Well it looks like the Werewolf fell for my little bad guy routine. Pretty gullible. It also look as if the Serial Killer has a keen sense for who is who, most likely a pretty witty person in this game. As for the Vampires, it appears you attack at random, surely you're the players that don't overlook things, but aren't that witty at all. I may be completely wrong, but my role being revealed gives me a upper hand. I wish everyone the best of luck from here.
Were this is getting instresting...
I find it a little coincidental that the SK went after the head vampire. He must have had some info. I have a feeling that the seer is involved somehow...
Saved by the night guard. :O
Why am I not surprised Matt was innocent. XD

As it were, that was a fairly helpful phase.

Interesting choice in words HTA.
Many drinks later Mack dozed off at the bar. As he tossed and turned, horrifying images filled his mind.
----
A vampire infiltrated a lonesome looking house. A number of pots, viles, and other such eclectic containers littered the house. Skulls and toads were everywhere, and other items associated with the occult.
The bat searched around, and found a black cat curled up. It was the Dark Wizard, a being of immense power loyal to the vampires. If anyone deserved to join their legion, it was the Wizard. A quick bite to the neck, and the cat started screeching. Eyes glowing red, it slowly morphed into a bat, and flew off into the night with the one that bit it....
---
The dream became blurry, and suddenly it was crystal clear. Java was sitting in his home, brandishing a gun and bear trap. Java is the Hunter. As he sharpened a blade, presumably a hunting knife,a killer emerged, and Java felt the cold, steely string across his throat.
"You there! Stop!" a voice sounded. Immediately after the other shot at the Killer, but he would escape with a smile. He'd strike again.
The man went over to Java and mended his wounds as best as he could. When Java came to, he muttered, "How did you know he'd come?"
"I'm an expert Tracker after all. Now rest." the reply came.
----
Morning came, and Mack stumbled out of the bar, still loaded. Looking around, he noticed not another was missing. He shrugged and headed down the road.
He made no mention of his dream, but he tacked a small note up on the town bulletin board, and carried on. The group gathered around, and read the note. It read:
"The dark ones grow stronger, adding more flesh, and less blood. The killer attempted to strike, but was deterred by a flesh wound. Tis a pity. You have until 9."
The Hunter, Java, has been revealed. The Hunter is a character that may kill one person of their choosing when they die.
The Tracker teamed up with the Hunter for a one time save. Their power is...?
Vampires found one of their allies, and granted them the ultimate power. The Dark Wizard is now another vampire.
Day Phase 3 begins.
SK and Vampires didn't attack. Odd. Well this Dark Wizard or Vampire in this case should be easy to figure out.

Mack sat down under the shade of a tree as people handed in their ballots. He was worried, as a tie was constantly being formed. Zovi. Then Spam. Zovi. Spam. What would he do?
The issue wasn't that a tie would happen, it was the fact he couldn't put names in his hat....he left it at the bar.
As he thought about his dilemma, he grew more and more weary. Oh well, only a few more hours, then he could drink.
Sunset came, and a last minute vote came in. Spam. No need for his hat.
He gathered the townsfolk, and they awaited his announcement.
"Spam," he said nonchalantly.
The group gathered around him, hung the noose around his neck, and dragged him to the docks. He merely whimpered to them, and finally burst out into tears. The stool fell from below him, snapping his neck.
Immediately he morphed into a werewolf, leaving no doubt as to what his position was. The villagers knew their idiocy wouldn't reach any bounds, they killed another asset off.
Oh well, it was night now.

Night fell again, and Mack was on a chase for his hat. There it was, sitting at the bar. Just as he went to grab it a gust picked it up, and off he went on the chase of a lifetime. The wind was eerie with its senses, as the man would have to weave in and out of foliage...all without rum.
While Mack was after his hat, the Serial Killer was after Jono. He picked up the mallet by his door, crept in, and bashed his skull in repeatedly, leaving Jono to look more like Michael Jackson than a foreign guard, known as the Mountie. The killer knew well, as Jono was the Night Watch.
With the guard out of the way, the vampires sought revenge. Poor `Matt` would once again take a thrashing in bed, unlike the ones he'd never receive out of the game (<3). The three feasted on him (once again...ok, I'll stop), leaving little behind.
And finally, Mack captured his hat. After he wrestled several trees, and a lovely mud puddle, he made his way back to town. He called everyone together.
"It seems our Judge hasn't arrived. I don't think we need to look for him...dare I say it to be obvious?" Mack thought allowed. "Who else is missing?"
"Jono," Doodle piped up, "let's go look for him."
The meager assembly marched to Jono's home, and when they got inside, witnessed a death like never before. Blood everywhere. Jono was dressed in Mountie regalia, perhaps having taken a last stand.
"Ugh, get your votes in. If you don't kill the killer or a vamp, you're done."
The Night Watch was murdered.
The Judge was killed by vampires.
You're all intercourse ed if you don't work together this round.
