I got an 80% on my final the other day.
I wanted an A, so I took it again.
I get a 79.5 :(

That sucks. Why don't they keep the higher score? Everywhere I do that, they keep the highest score, so as not to hurt your grade.

Well at least you managed to pass. I know someone who did that and failed the test.

Same here, but I don't usually retake.
I never study and I always do well on tests. ^_^
I just rarely do the actual school work/homework.
I would of demanded and start complaning that they would keep the higher score!
My Theoretical Physics prof. grades redo tests the same way. He's a real hard ass though, so if you decide to retake a test in his class you either study hard and manage to make a B, or completely destroy your grade.
