Title: Has there ever been a good movie based game?
Post by: Tupin on May 26, 2008, 09:54:05 PM
Other than Goldeneye 007, I cannot think of one.

MAYBE Lion King.

Spider-Man 2 on consoles. If you disagree, you haven't played it.

Iron man on the 360 only looks amazing. Play the demo from Marketplace, it's purdy and actually fun.

I got that game just because I heard there was a complete recreation of NYC in it that you can roam around.  It was fun roaming around and collecting those things on top of buildings for a few hours, but then I got bored and traded it in.

I never even attempted to actually follow the story.  Should I have? :P

Spider-Man 2

Both rocked... though I found the old Aladdin from the Sega Genesis game to be fun.

You poor, poor soul. Should've played it on the SNES. SNES versions are always superior to Genesis versions. The Genesis has such poopty sound.

Oh yeah, forgot about Spider-Man 2...

I was actually looking forward to Spiderman 3.

Until I played it.  :(

It was at least playable, along with Cars.

But they used the same three songs the whole game.  :|

Barnyard cannot be compared to Cars. It's my favorite game by far and I play it as much as possible.

Ahh...Aladdin that was a fun game, even if I got stuck on the same part all the time.

Well sorry I am not a video game nerd like you to make a difference between the consoles.

I enjoy Spiderman 2, and Lord of the Rings games after Fellowship, which was poop.
I was tempted to go kill the people who created Spiderman 3 after playing it. I expected Spiderman 2 on a higher level.

Lion King definently.

Spiderman 2
LOTR: The Two Towers
LOTR: Return of the King
Star Wars Episode III (even though it borrowed most of the formula form the LotR games)

Spiderman 2 was the best. Spiderman 1 was also pretty good, but only because of the bowling. Some of the things the announcer said were hilarious.

When you died in the training area, I loved what he said.

Uh, you don't have to be a nerd to know that the Genesis has poopty sound capabilities. You just have to have played one. It's a good console, but every single game that was on both the SNES and the Genesis was better on the SNES.

It's the sad truth of the Genesis.  :(

Why do you think it had all those add-ons?

Not just to extend the lifespan, but to improve the hardware.
