Title: Are you an artist?
Post by: Lotos on September 26, 2007, 09:26:47 PM
You know, do you create art in your spare time, not counting school assignments?  I sprite a little, and I've began to attempt at YouTube Poops, if that counts (YouTube account: Bombtrack4546).

I draw when I have time, and I also play the piano. I'm pretty good.

My teacher said I'm good at sightreading.

I sprite, of course. :P I do draw in my spare time, on my binders, in my notebooks at school, and fakemon at home. My AP English teacher saw me drawing once and he says: "Pokemon?" and gives a chuckle, as I assume his younger son likes Pokemon. He asked me to draw some for his son too, so I guess he likes my drawings. xDD I also practice drawing realistically sometimes, and I have a limited ability of graphic design.

I also play Trumpet and soon the Bassoon, if that counts. xDD

I can sprite pretty well, I can draw ok, but the only thing I'm any good at are quadripeds, especially canines. I can draw humans sorta well, but suck at hands.

I'm with you there Avion. I can draw anything with four legs flawlessly, and I'm particularly good at birds since recently.
If I have the right motivation, I can draw humans, but I can't draw hands for crap. xP

Yeah. I draw when I can, and I love too. I also play Trumpet purty well, but the revent addition of braces in my mouth have hindered my ability to play.  :(

The only time I draw is when I'm drawing abstract art or optical illusions. Otherwise, I play the trumpet pretty durn well. I might play the trombone next year if I really consider it. And I can write a darned funny story...And I suppose I'd say I have a decent singing voice. :P

I taught myself how to draw Manga/Anime style, so I draw quite a bit. I haven't really done much spriting recently, but i can do that. I'm learning how to play guitar, and i can sing pretty good. The most hilarious thing I can do is voice acting. I can do Mario. XD And I can also do Luigi, Yoshi, Kirby (I'm surprised at myself for this one... XD), and others like Smeagul from LoTR, the guy from India that Pistachio turns into in Master of Disguise, and (I creep people out with this one... XD) the chipmunks. XD

Update: going to be performing and possibly recording material with my girlfriend. Acoustic material. Country-rock and blues stuff, mostly covers, some original.

Consider me a god.

I can draw, I'm in the percussion in band and I mostly stick to the marimba or other mallet instruments(5th year of it), and I can VA Lois Griffin from Family Guy. Here's 3 things I've drawn.

A good portion of my free time is spent honing my skills on various instruments, which include but are not limited to sax (main instrument), bass, drums, and trumpet. I've begun experimenting with flute and baritone as well.

I'm also in two bands, one of which I write for, which means practice or a show 2-3 times a week.

The bit of free time left over is mostly spent doing Warhammer related things (usually painting/other modeling tasks, occasionally having gaming get-togethers), or doing web development stuff.

I'm a newbie bassist, and music is an art.

I used to like to draw a lot when I was a kid, but I'm just okay. I have bad handwriting so that might be why my drawings are lacking a bit.

Computer graphics: I make sigs for several different forum groups, as well as printable items, & digital scrapbook pages & elements, etc., which can also be printed out.  I can draw, but haven't done it so much the last few years...mostly landscape type stuff. I used to be able to do faces pretty good, but it's been forever since I did that, so I probably suck at it now, lol. And I play the piano a little. Tried guitar, but I can't get my fingers to bend right. I always thought it was cause I have long fingers, lol, but I was told no, that shouldn't be a problem, so I dunno...lol

Let's see... if it counts, I'm an actor. I'm also considering writing screenplays or novels. I have a good idea for a fiction right now, but I need to find time...
