Why is it that b4 wifi when i turned it off it was red,now its yellow and the indert flashes blue when off.

Power light;
Red means you have no internet connection
Yellow means you have a internet connection

Blue glow;
When your wii glows blue it has a measage from Nintendo, a friend or a channel

Well, I see I am not the only one who wondered about the blue glow, lol  ;)  Mine has been hooked up to the internet from the beginning & I've never seen the red light come on yet.  I couldn't believe how easy it was to get connected!  I thought it was gonna be some awful process, but it was a breeze!  Of course we already had wireless internet, so that probably helped.

Red means it's off it has no life. :D

Yellow means it's on stand by and when it glows blue it means there is an update or there's a message, etc.

if you want to get the red light but without having to dissconnect the internet. just  unplug the wii then plug it back and don't turn it on ;)
