Like what level poffin to use or what berry would be the best.

Anything would help.

Pamtre and Ganlon work the best.

And I think about level 25 or so poffins would be good.

Get Pamtre berries. If you don't have any, I could give you one. The Poffins should be Lv. 25, but that's kind of easy for a Pamtre berry, so don't get worried about it.

That all depends on the game he's in. Theres a special place in D/P that specializes in pokemon evolved by happiness
