As a fan I feel I should join. As an RPer I feel I should kick ass.

Yes.  Weapon Bending is based off Toph's metal bending ability
but no this character is not related to Toph. 

Character Profile
Eduardo is an Earthbender.  His parents were imprisoned by the Fire Nation when he was really
young and the only women he cared for was killed right before him.  His suffering has lead
him to a path of violent turmoil.  He is a vagabond.  A wandering warrior who fought people
only to push his ability to it's farthest.  After hearing rumors of a new avatar Eduardo went
on a journey to find him.  He believes now his purpose is to pass on his skills to the new
avatar to aid the avatar in their final battle.  It's the first time since his love's death that
his life has had any real purpose and he will stop at nothing to find the Avatar.

His lack of real discipline has left his abilities something
to be desired but he has picked up a unique trait. Fragmented Focus.

His mind can't concentrate on a single task for very long.  This prevents him from greater
bending (He can't move massive amounts of earth even if he had extensive study under
a proper teacher) but it does allow him to use his self taught technique: Weapon Bending.
He can control his Spear's movement (If he practiced more he could control more objects at
once and deflect projectiles. Weapon Bending only affects objects of forged steel and
not solid wood or glass objects.)

Name: Eduardo
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Personality: Angry and vengeful, tries to stay emotionally distant from people.
Appearance: Wears a large dark green cloak to hid his identity.  His hair is onyx
and he has a mustache and goatee. He wears small glasses.  The robes
underneath are rather plain and worn out.
Parents: Smellerbee and  LongShot
Element: Earthbending
Weapons: Two mid sized spears called Dread and Paranoia. 
Their  lightweight makes them easy to carry and use.
Other: He's not above stealing and deception in order to get by.  Also he can't swim.

So far each element has secondary abilities and techniques.

Earth Bender's can learn Metal Bending and Tunneling.
Water Benders can learn Blood Bending and Healing Art.
Fire Benders can learn Lightning Bending and Fire Eating (The ability to reduce fire).
Air Benders can learn Air Jumping, Air Dashes and (No known secondary bending).
