Darkrai's Plot
It has been several years since the valiant Pokemon rescuer and his partner saved the world from the comet. But now, a new threat is emerging. Darkrai, a master of evil, is plotting the doom of all the Pokemon world.
No one really knows what he wants, or how he will set about achieving it. Darkrai is working in the shadows, unbeknownst to the innocent Pokemon. You take the role of Pokemon rescuers. Save Pokemon, stop disaster, fulfill your role, but all the while, Darkrai's plot edges closer.
The brave Pokemon who stopped the comet before have long since vanished. He has been revered since then. He is now as famous as Lucario. No one knows what has become of him and his faithful partner. Search parties were sent to find them, but it would seem that they do not wish to be found.
It's time to choose a side. Will you choose to rescue Pokemon and stop Darkrai, or perhaps ally yourself with him. Or perhaps you are one of those brave souls who went searching for the comet-stopping hero.

Wait patiently. Also, once the RP begins, I advise people to use either OOC// or (()) to show out of character speech, ie. chatting about where you should go next, random stuff, etc.

Lucas woke up from his bed (straw), and went into Pokemon Square to buy supplies.
" 6 oran berries please," he said politely when he reached the Keckleon Shop.
After he got them he proceeded out of town.

Kristal ran as fast as she could through the Sinister Woods, trying not to look back. She jumped over a log and sprinted, thinking. The wild Pokemon here are acting much stranger. They have never been like this before! She took a chance and looked back. A Scyther, Beedrill, and Haunter were following her, and seemed to be gaining speed. Just a bit further...!

Kristal continued to run, when she saw a small, faint light. Almost there...! But that was when it happened. She got too excited and tripped over a part of a tree that was sticking out. She turned around to see the Pokemon no more than four feet away from her. It looks like I'll have to fight... She jumped up and prepared to fight.
Lucas fought through several Pokemon easily. He saw that Pokemon were
getting ferocious. He finished off a Scyther when he saw a Treecko fighting 3 pokemon
all by itself. " Cowards," he said to himself, running towards them.
The Treecko ((::))) heard footsteps and turned around quickly and then spun back towards her enemies. "What do you want?" She asked the newcomer, hoping it wasn't another enemy.
" To help," Lucas said with a smirk. "You seemed to be in danger, I came
and am willing to help."

Kristal scoffed. "Just try not to get in my way." Inside, however, she was happy. This evens out the odds a little bit. She turned her attention back to the enemies.
"Sure....Fire Punch!!!!," Lucas said, lunging @ Scyther.

The Scyther moved out of the way before the punch could hit, and it slashed at the Riolu. Kristal stared. Something's not right... She came back to when she saw the Beedrill lunge at her. She jumped backwards. "Razor Leaf!" Leaves scattered around the ground began to come to her and circle around her. She shot a few at the Beedrill, hoping to hit. It simply flew out of the way.
It was then that Kristal saw it. These Pokemon had red eyes. They looked demented, and had some sort of dark aura about them. They weren't like normal wild Pokemon. The Haunter lunged at Lucas while Kristal was busy with Beedrill.
" So you wanna fight," he said. " Fire Punch!!!!" he yelled as his fist became inferno red while he lunged at Haunter.
The Haunter dodged this attack as well, but the flames on the outer edge of the punch singed him slightly. It looked angry, and prepared to attack the Riolu. It started to create a Shadow Ball, and it was getting larger by the second. Scyther stood in front of Haunter so that the Riolu couldn't get to Haunter. Kristal, meanwhile, was shooting more leaves at the Beedrill. One of them finally managed to hit its wing, and it spiralled down, injured slightly.
Kristal turned her attention to the Riolu, and gasped at what she saw. She was about to go to help, when...
BOOM!!
Several trees shook violently as a figure appeared out of nowhere. Violent winds came from this newcomer's entrance. The Haunter and Scyther managed to hold their ground, but the Beedrill was swept away. "That's the power of Extremespeed." Kyle said, his necklace dangling from his neck.
"Brother!" Kristal shouted excitedly.
((Just a notice; if I were you, I'd open the signups again. Three people isn't a lot to start an RP.))
" Oh yeah!!!! Now it''s even!" Lucas said, seeing Kyle and knowing whose side he was on.
Kyle ran over to Kristal, and shot a cautious look at Lucas. "Who is that, exactly?"
"Don't worry, he's on our side!" Kristal said happily. Kyle sighed.
"Well that's a relief." He glared at the other Pokemon with an evil look in his eye. They ran away, hoping not to get on his bad side. Kyle walked up to Lucas. "Thanks for helping. What's your name?"
" Lucas," Lucas said. " Have you heard of Lucario, the great rescuer and hero. He was my....dad," he added with sorrow.
Kyle just scoffed. "Making lies, are we?" He walked back towards Kristal. "Come on, we're leaving."
"Kyle, why do you have to be so mean?" Kristal asked, following her older brother.
"I don't have time for stuff like that." He simply put. "I've learned something, and we have to talk about it as soon as we get back to the base."
" Fine, if you're gonna be like that," Lucas replied, getting ready to run. "I'm gone."
Lucas took off and ran out of sight. He plowed through 8 more Pokemon, still
wondering about the Pikachu and his sister.
((Did you see me do that when you left?! No! God, you don't have to make a post for each little thing that doesn't go your way. Next time that happens, I'm reporting this thread.))
Kristal frowned, and pushed her brother. "Look what you just did."
"Didn't you hear me?" Kristal was brought back to reality.
"Yeah, let's go." They walked out of the woods and back to the direction of their base. ((I'm hoping Tri makes a post sometime soon... *hint hint, nudge nudge, wink wink.*))

Ozymandias was bored and looking for something to do when he saw Kristal and Kyle walking home.
I got nothing better to do, he thought. With that, he got up and began walking towards them.
((Umm... is Ozymandias a guy or a girl? ))
Kyle continued to walk, but Kristal stopped and looked at the Pokemon walking towards them. "Can I help you?" She asked politely.
((Male.))
Ozymandias paused for a moment.
"Heh... No," he said at last. As he said this, he was coming up with a way to help Darkrai and get rid of another rescue team.
"Umm... ok..." Kristal said nervously.
"Kristal!" She turned and saw Kyle motioning to follow her.
"I'll... see you around?" She said just as nervoudly as before. She walked back towards her brother.
"Heh. Bye," said Ozymandias. Now to wait for them to head back to their base
"So... what are you so nervous about?" Kristal asked, detecting how oddly Kyle was acting.
"I'll tell you once we get back to the base." They continued to walk.
Ozymandias pretended to walk away, but then quickly doubled back, following Kristal and Kyle.
Kristal turned around, and saw the Chimchar following them. Something's not right... what does he want? She pretended not to notice and continued to walk.
Ozymandias continued walking, unaware that Kristal had noticed him already.
The base was only a couple yards away from them, but Kristal still felt Ozymandias's presence. She turned around, and saw the Chimchar. "What are you-?" Kyle asked abrupty.
"Razor Leaf!" There were a few trees around, so the leaves came off and shot at the fire opponent.
Ozymandias looked up and saw the leaves hurtling towards him.
"Fire Spin!" he cried, and a stream of spinning fire incinerated the leaves and continued on toward Kristal and Kyle.
"What the...?" Kyle turned and saw the Chimchar as well. "Kristal, get back to the base." She looked at him, unsure. "Now!" She nodded and ran back to the house. "If you want to fight, then I'm the one to take on." He walked up to Ozymandias.
"Very well then," said Ozymandias.
Kyle readied himself. "Shock wave!" He sent many bursts of electricity at Ozymandias.
Ozymandias knew that he couldn't dodge Shock Wave. He took the brunt of the attack and grunted. He steadied himself and cried, "Flame Wheel!" He engulfed himself in flame and charged at Kyle.
Kyle tried to dodge out of the way, but his left arm got slightly singed by the fire. "Urgh." He turned and faced the Chimchar. That's not a horrible injury... I can manage.
Ozymandias smirked when he noticed the wound. "Fire Spin!" he cried as the Flame Wheel died out. The usual tornado of flame issued from his mouth.
"Thunderu Bolt!" Kyle released a large burst of electricity at the Chimchar, meeting with his flames. The two energies nulled each other, and they disinegrated. "It seems we're evenly matched."
"It would appear so," said Ozymandias. "Flame Wheel!" With that, he charged at Kyle again.
"Extremespeed!" Kyle rushed towards Ozymandias at breakneck speed, and hit him with full force.
Ozymandias was knocked out of his own flames and stunned. He slowly got up and with a cry of "Fire Spin" sent more flames at Kyle.
Kyle also got injured from his Extremespeed hit, as he got slightly burned again from the Flame Wheel. I can't keep this up much longer... crap, I should have sent Kristal into the Square to get help...
Kristal was watching the fight through one of the windows. I have to help somehow... I know! I'll go look for help! She ran out the back door towards Pokemon Square.
"Extremespeed!" Kyle ran away from all the shots, and then rushed at Ozymandias again.
Ozymandias was too slow to dodge the attack and was sent flying. He got up again.
Can't keep this up, he thought.
"Dig!" he cried, and burrowed into the ground.
"Coward!" Kyle shouted at the hole. He quickly ran to a tree and climbed up a branch. If he's going to attack, then I should at least not be on the ground.
Ozymandias poked his head out of a little hole at the base of the tree. He looked around and noticed Kyle was on the tree. "Fire Spin!" he cried again, and the familiar gush of flame flew up to burn the tree down.
Lucas sighed. He was at Pokemon Square. All of a sudden he saw a flame.
"Fire Spin," he said to himself. He ran to see where it came from.
He saw a Pikachu battling a Chimchar. Kyle. " Do you need any help?," Lucas shouted.
((Uhh... How the hell did you get there so fast? Kristal left before you did to go to Pokemon Square, and she hasn't gotten there yet. Therefore, it is impossible for you to be there already. However, I won't mind it this time, as Riolus could be faster than Treeckos))
Kyle jumped down from the tree quickly. He was too busy to notice the newcomer.
" I repeat, do you need any help?", replied Lucas.
((Err... I meant that Kristal and Kyle had already begun to leave when she said his name. Also - even if they hadn't left - due to where Kristal was standing, they were out of earshot.))

Kyle turned to Lucas. "Any help would be great, thanks. Just try not to get in my way." He ran up to the hole where he had almost been burned. "Shock Wave!" He shot more electrical bursts into the hole, hoping to get him from inside.
" Roger," Lucas said, " just tell me when to attack."

Kyle turned to the Riolu, not believing what he was hearing. "Didn't I just tell you not to get in my way? Attack when you see fit. Just make sure we don't collide."
" Gotcha," Lucas replied, " but where is our enemy?"
"Underground." Kyle said, irritated at not being able to pinpoint where the Chimchar was.

Ozymandias peeked out from the hole at the base of the tree and watched Kyle the newcomer bicker for a moment before retreating underground. I can barely put up a fight against the first one, he thought. Well, no backing out now.
He leapt out of the hole and sent a stream of flame at his two opponents.
Kyle dodged the attack, but barely. Crap! I don't have enough energy left to use Extremespeed. "This ends now!" He began to build up electricity in his hand. "Thunderu..." The yellow electricity began to grow.
Ozymandias backed away slowly and sent another Fire Spin at Kyle.
He ran to the side of the fire, and raised his thunder engulfed fist at Ozymandias. "...Punch!" He used his full force in this attack.
It was a direct hit. Ozymandias was sent flying into the tree. He slid to the ground, unconscious.
Kristal - who was almost at Pokemon Square - heard the blow, and could feel it through her body. She turned around, and began to run back to the base.
Meanwhile, Kyle stared at the Chimchar he had just knocked out. "Now, I should..." He felt dizzy, as that last blow took a lot out of him, and having wounds from fire attacks didn't help either. "...find out... what he..." He fell to the ground, and blacked out.
Ozymandias briefly woke up and looked at Kyle, but fainted again from his wounds.
Kristal returned to the scene, shocked to see her brother unconcious. She was slightly relieved to see the enemy unconcious as well, however. She turned to the Riolu. "What happened?"
" I guess he was tired," Lucas replied. He shrugged. "He did very well in
battling that Chimchar. Give him this," he added, handing her an oran berry.
" See you later." And with that Lucas ran back to his base.

Kristal turned around to talk to Lucas. "Can I have some help with-" But he was gone. She sighed and dragged the two inside the base. She put the unconcious Chimchar in a chair, and tied him up with a rope that had metal inside. Now he can't burn through it... She fed Kyle the Oran Berry and waited for him to wake up. She sighed.
Ozymandias woke up tied up to a chair. "Where am I?" he muttered to himself.
Lucas stopped at his base. A Larvitar was sanding by it.
" Lucas," it said. " Nice place."
" Thanks, Roy," Lucas replied. " Now that you're here we
can get down to business....but.."
" But what," Roy replied.
" I met this Pikachu and Treecko twice," Lucas said." The Treecko was
nice but the Pikachu was a bit subborn (( To Kyle: No offense. Awesome job LS))."
" We'll worry about that later, but I have big news, Lucas," Roy replied.
".........It's about your father," he added.

Kristal turned around to see the Chimchar waking up. "First tell us why you were stalking us." She demanded, trying to sound intimidating. She was actually a bit scared.
"Haha, why should I tell you when I can just burn my way out?" inquired Ozymandias. With that, he tried to burn through the ropes. Unfortunately, the metal in the ropes prevented that.
"Oh... Crap..."
"Hmm... trying to escape, are we?" Kristal turned around in surprise to see Kyle waking up, and getting onto his feet. "Why don't you just answer the question? It will make it a lot more easier on us. Who knows? We might even let you go in one piece." Kristal shot her brother a look that basically said, "stop being so intimidating".
"Very well... I'd tell you, but I can't."
Kyle sighed. "Well... if you're not going to tell us..." He raised his arm.
"Stop, Kyle." Kristal said, waving at him to make him stop. He lowered his arm. "Why can't you tell?"
"Er... Well... I can't exactly tell you that either."
Kristal sighed. "It's clear we're getting nowhere with this..."
"Look, I'd tell you if I could, but I can't."
Kyle shook his head. "This isn't good. Perhaps we should call team ACT in...?" He looked towards Kristal.
"Well, if worse does come to worst..."
"What?!" cried Ozymandias, panic showing in his eyes. "No! Don't call them! Not them!"
Kyle slammed his hands on a table nearby Ozymandias. "Then tell us something! Anything!"
Ozymandias was struggling in his bonds now. "What can I tell you?! I breathe a word and he'll kill me!" Suddenly, his eyes widened, as if he'd just said something forbidden."
Kyle's ears perked up. "He? Who's 'he'?" Kristal looked at the Chimchar curiously.
Ozymandias moaned. "No... Can't say. He'll kill me for saying what I already have. Can't say more!"
In his panic, his body convulsed and shook.
" Lucas," Roy said. " An Oran berry was found in the mountains," he added.
" So what," Lucas replied in amazement. " Big whoop."
Roy looked at Lucas nervously before continuing. " There was a hair on it.....Lucario hair."
" What!!!! We have to go," yelled Lucas as he ran out.
" But...." Roy said. " Lucas is off again......"
" ROY!!!!!," came Lucas a mile away. " LET'S GO ALREADY!!!!!!."
" Coming, Lucas," Roy replied running to catch up to Lucas.
A look of shock appeared on Kyle's face. Kristal ran behind the chair and held Ozymandias's shoulders, trying to stop him from having what appeared to be a seizure(sp?). "Calm down!"
Finally, Ozymandias managed to calm himself. His breathing, though, hard, had at least steadied.
"He'll kill me... Musn't say more... Can't hide. He'll just find me. And kill!"
At this point, he was speaking more to himself than to the other two.
"Snap out of it!" Kristal shouted. Kyle could only stare in disbelief at the crazed Pokemon.
Ozymandias recoiled at her words. He settled down in silence.
Lucas and Roy continued on. Lucas became tired and finally slowed down.
" Roy," he said. " Remember when we were 10 and joined a rescue team?"
" Yeah," Roy replied. " Why do you mention it?"
" Those were the days," Lucas said, daydreaming slightly.
At this time they stopped and starting eating 2 Oran berries Lucas had.

He shuddered again, his breathing growing faster.
Kristal and Kyle didn't hear Ozymandias breathing faster, but they did hear his breathing faster. "Huh..." That's when Kristal realized something. "'Someone to help us'!" She hugged her brother. "Kyle, you're a genius! Stay here and keep an eye on the Chimchar. I'll be back soon." Kyle smiled.
"Yeah, I am a genius... wait." A confused look appeared on Kyle's face. "What'd I do?" He turned around to talk to Kristal, but she had already ran out the door, closing it behind her. She ran off in search of the Riolu she had met earlier.
"Huh?" said Ozymandias as Kristal ran out of the base.
Lucas and Roy at this time were sleeping outside. Lucas woke up quickly
when he heard footsteps. " Who's there?," he said, ready to ignite a Fire Punch.
"It's just me." Kristal said, stepping out to see Lucas and another Pokemon she hadn't seen before. "Remember? We met earlier, in the forrest. I believe we haven't officially met. I'm Kristal." She held out her hand to shake.
" Lucas," Lucas said, shaking her hand. " That Larvitar is Roy, a friend of mine," motioning to Roy .
Kristal nodded to the Larvitar. "Nice to meet you. However, now is not a time for pleasantries(sp?). I have some trouble over at my base, and I was wondering if you could help us."
" Sure, but wait," he said in a whisper, motioning to Roy again.
" ROY, WAKE UP!!!!!!," Lucas said loudly.
" Waaaahh????," Roy said, waking up, startled.
Lucas burst out in laughter. " Oh...right..Roy, this is Kristal."
" Grrr...." he said looking at Lucas. " The name's Roy," he added to Kristal.
Kristal merely sighed. I don't have time for this!
Looking at her expression, Lucas said to Roy," Let's go!"
" Right," replied Roy.
And with that Lucas and Roy were ready.
" Which way?," asked Lucas.
"Follow me." Kristal said, and she began to run back to the base.
" Gotcha," Lucas replied, with him and Roy following Kristal.
On their way to the base, Kristal filled the two in on what had happened.
" Wow, that Chimchar is hyper," Lucas said after Kristal was done filling them in.
"I think there's more to that then just hyperactivity." Kirstal said, as they approached the base.
" O.k." said Lucas. " Roy, you haven't talked since we started walking. What's up??"
" Nothing," replied Roy. " But this Chimchar sounds suspicious (( shouldn't we be there already??)).
Kristal opened the door to the base and walked inside, leaving the door open for Lucas and Roy. "I brought the Riolu from earlier." She told Kyle, who was walking around. "I thought he could help with our problem."
Lucas and Roy walked in.
" I'm Lucas, and this is Roy," he said to Kyle. " What do you need help with??"
((When I said that Kristal filled them in, I meant that she told them what they had to do. But oh well.))
Kyle motioned to the Chimchar tied up to the chair. "We don't know what to do with this guy. He's going crazy, it seems." He motioned to them to hold on one second, as he wanted to ask one more question, trying to get something out of the senile Pokemon. "Can you at least tell us your name?"

Katsuhi was waking through the square, wondering what all the confusion was all about lately.
"Jeez, with all this weird stuff going on, I can hardly get any training..." Katauhi said to himself. He looked down one of the streets, and noticed that the dorr to one of the bases was open. "Hmm? What's going on down there?" He began to walk of in the direction of the base, unaware of what was going on inside.

Lucas heard footsteps and sent Roy to see who it was.
" Hello," said Roy.
"Oh, hey there..." Katsuhi replied back to him. He looked around the Larvitar to see what was inside real quick. "What's... going on in there?"
" Depends," Roy said, looking tough. " Do you side with him??"
Katsuhi instantly knew what he was talking about.
"No, I'm not with him... Why would I be?" Katsuhi said back to Roy
" You can't trust anyone now. Please come in," Roy replied as he walked back in.
" This is Lucas and Kristal," he added, motioning over to them.
"I'm Katsuhi." He replied as he looked at the two. Katsuhi then looked at the Chimchar. "What's with him?"
Roy was about to speak up when Lucas answered," We don't really know."
"So... Is he with him?" Katsuhi asked as he walked around the Chimchar.
" None of us are," Roy said calmly.
Lucas looked tired, and finally said," Roy, take this Vulpix and pick up some supplies."
" O.k." Roy replied, giving Lucas a strange look. " Let's go," he added, walking.

"All right..." Katsuhi replied as he followed behind him.
When they got there, Pokemon Square was burning, all the shopkeepers were on the ground, and a Charizard was laughing.
" Hey!" Roy said. " You can't do that!"
Roy launched a Rock Slide, but the Charizard evaded and laughed at him.
"Gah..." Katsuhi said. "Guess I'm going to have to use a move combo..."
He stood in a stance, tensing his muscles as he prepared for an attack.
"Quick Attack!" Katsuhi shouted as he dashed forward at a fast pace. He leaped up and was heading for the Charizard. "Fire Spin!" He spat out fire around himself as he sped right at the Charizard.
Charizard looked at Katsuhi and released an Aerial Ace right as Katsuhi was going to hit.
Roy sneaked behind Charizard and saw a piece of pizza. He ran and ate it.
Katsuhi was hit by the Aerial Ace and flew back down to the ground. He saw that Roy had found a piece of pizza and was eating it.
"Hey, this isn't the time to be munching on food, ya know!" Katsuhi shouted to the Larvitar angrily.
Roy was shaking. " Hit me with a fire attack!" he yelled.
The Charizard looked puzzled and didn't move.
Katsuhi looked at him confused, but began as he said.
"Flamethrower!" He shouted, as flames charged in his mouth. They flew out and hit the Larvitar, like he had said to do.
" Now!!!! DRAGONBREATH!!!!!!!" he yelled as an inferno of fire burnt Charizard to a crisp.
Then the Charizard ran off like a baby.
" What do we do now?," Roy asked.
Katsuhi looked at all the buildings still burning. He actually seemed a bit confident now.
"I've been training so that my Flash Fire ability could do more..." Katsuhi said. He fanned out his 6 tails. Closing his eyes, he began to focus energy. Katsuhi's eyes opened quickly, and they were all white. The fires in all of the buildings suddenly began to recede, until there was nothing but smoke lingering in the area. After the fires were gone, Katsuhi fell to his side.
"Well... That takes care of that..." He said completely exhausted.
" You seem tired," Roy said. " Have an Oran Berry," he added, giving Katsuhi an Oran Berry.
" Now we need a lot of Reviver Seeds for these workers," Roy said with a look of "uuuhhh." in his eyes.
"Yeah, well I have some..." Katsuhi said as he took the Oran berry. "Not sure if it's enough, though..." He bit into the Oran berry, and he felt a little energy come back to him. Katsuhi got up and took out a small bag. "Here's what I've got for Reviver seeds..." He handed it to Roy.
" That'll work," Roy said, and revived the Keckleons(sp) , which in turn revived everyone else.
" By the way," Roy added. " Would you like to join our rescue team?"
"Sure..." Katsuhi instantly replied. "Haven't been on a rescue team yet, so it wouldn't hurt."
" Let's go back and see what happened while we were gone," Roy replied as he started walking.
"Good idea." Katsuhi replied as he began following him back.
"Hmm... Maybe..." He started to think. "They might be able to help me get Maetoka back..."
While Roy was walking, he noticed that Katsuhi was thinking.
" What's the matter?" he finally asked.
"Oh, nothing..." Katsuhi reassured Roy. "Everything's just fine."
" Are you sure?" Roy asked, giving Katsuhi a glare.
Katsuhi stopped.
"Well, they'd have to know sooner or later..." Katsuhi thought again. "But I'd want them all to know the situation rather than just one..."
"I'll tell you when we get back..." Katsuhi told him as he started walking again.

Kristal gave a strange look out the door. "Why the hell did they leave?" She asked, more to herself than to Kyle.
"Don't know, don't care." Kyle said, biting into an apple. He tossed Kristal an orange. She caught it, fumbling a bit. "If they went to get something to help us, then I'm glad they left. Speaking of which..." He turned to the Chimchar. "Want something to eat?"
"Sure," said Ozymandias, seeming relieved that something mundane and completely unrelated to the interrogation was happening.
"Hmm..." Kyle thought, holding a banana in his hand for Ozymandias. "It seems you can't grab the food tied up like that. How about this; we untie you so that you can eat, but you promise you won't go anywhere. Sound like a deal?"
"Like I have a choice. I try to escape, more than likely, I get attacked and tied up again. Therefore, I agree."
Kyle went behind Ozymandias and untied the rope. He then handed him the banana. "Eat up." He said, taking another bite of his apple.
Ozymandias took the banana, removed the peel, and ate gratefully. "Thanks," he muttered.
Katsuhi had made it back with Roy, and he walked in. The marks from the encounter with the Charizard were very noticeable.
"Man... That was some attack power..." Katsuhi said to himself.
Kyle turned around as the door opened. "What happened to you?" He asked, walking over to the Vulpix. "You look like you got ran over by a Steelix."
"Worse... Aerial Aced by some crazed Charizard burning Pokemon Square up." Katsuhi replied with a bit of joke in his voice.
Kyle smiled. "Good to see you made it out in one piece, though. Why did you leave, though?"
"Well, we went to get supplies, but then we had to stop that Charizard from doing any more damage." Katsuhi replied.
"I see." Kyle said. "So what did you get?"
" Uhhhh.." Roy uttered." We....forgot."
" Great. Just great," Lucas replied. " I only have 2 Oran Berries left."
Lucas glared at Roy, and Roy ran out to get supplies.
" Good," added Lucas.

Kyle noticed the loud banging. He quickly barricaded the door with a chair, not wanting any more intrusions. "We don't want any!" He yelled. He quickly turned around, and walked over to Ozymandias. "Do you know that voice?"
"I'm not sure," said Ozymandias. "No one I remember."
Kyle's breathing picked up. "That Larvitar is outside! He could be in danger." He realized. "What should we do?" He asked the others.
"Don't ask me. I'm just a captive."
Kristal turned to the Riolu. "What do you think?" She asked.

" Roy is far away by now," Lucas replied. " Wait for him to come in," he added in a very soft voice.
Roy was far away, buying 5 apples, 5 reviver seeds, and 8 oran berries.

Kyle gave a sigh of relief. "Good. Now what?"

8, my poor mother died, and us 6 Riolu's were placed in a foster home. I was the youngest
of all. No one took me until I was 10, when an Eevee couple adopted me. And finally, three
months ago, I found a small home and lived there. Now I help Pokemon in need and try to
find evidence of my father, the great Lucario."

Ronin was walking down the street to Pokemon Square. He had his bag with him, which contained all of his personal belongings and emergency supplies.
"I wonder what adventures await me today...." he thought outloud as he passed a few stands.

Ace realized somewhat of what was going on inside that base and thought to himself, ''Yep he's in there alright,now how to get him out.Wait that one pokemon said something about a larvitar,i just need to wait for him.'' So then he shouted so that every one in the base could hear him."Well i guess he isnt there i'll leave now!''. Then he ran behind a nearby bush and just sat there,waiting for that larvitar((kind of a dumb plan doncha think?)),''Since im grass i could take him out! and when they come out to help , i can get Ozymandias out of there".
Roy was coming back when he saw a figure behind a bush.
" Hey," Roy shouted. " Who are you!?"

Ace was a little irritated that he could not stay hidden,but he then said to the larvitar,''I'ts none of your buisness, just tell your little friends to realese Ozymandias and there wont be much of a problem.'' But he saw that the larvitar was standing his ground((sorry if thats controling your character)) ,so he said,''Hey, its up to you get Ozymandias or get into a fight.''
Kyle heard the ruckess outside. What the hell...? He walked outside, and saw the two Pokemon opposing each other. "Alright, just break it up before you get in a fight!" Kristal said, walking out as well, and closing the door. "Let's all just go home, and forget any of this ever happened."
Ace was suprised when he saw another treecko,let alone seeing it telling him to ''just go home'' so he snaped,''Hey dont you boss me around i'll leave when you realese Ozymandias!''.Then he saw the treecko was with a pikachu , he then said to himself,''Okay 3 pokemon around , if i keep moving around i can make it into the base,but who knows how many pokemon could be in there. Mabey i should go home Ozymandias isnt worth it''.But he realized some thing,he then said without realizing
he was yelling,''Oh no if i dont get him he'll...he'll...i cant even say it! Okay, this goes against everything i beleive in but its better than faceing him!''. He got on his knees and said,''Please free Ozymandias, if i go back and Ozymandias isnt with me He'll.....He'll kill me!".But then he felt terrible pain in his head he new it, darkrai enterd his mind .The pain was so terrible he passed out.

Ronin saw a comotion going on nearby.
"Excuse me, what's going on here?" he asked curiously.
Kyle gazed at the insane Pokemon that had just collapsed, and Kristal turned to Ronin. "I... don't... really know." She turned her attention to the unconcious Treecko as well. So crazy... a Pokemon that looks like me, and is completely different. She pulled on the necklace around her neck that matched her brother's. At least I can tell myself apart by my reflection...

" Yes," Lucas replied. " He was my father, and I am his last son."

" In that case," Lucas replied, " We accept."
Lucas and Roy started to go, when Lucas said to Katsuhi," Bring Ozimandias with you."
"Right." Katsuhi answered back. He turned to Ozimandias. "Come on..."

"Well, you can help me keep an eye on Ozimandias here." Katsuri replied to Ronin. "You know, just in case he does something."
"Alright. My name is Ronin, by the way." he said.
"I'm Katsuhi." He said back as he held out his paw to shake.
Ronin shook Katsushi's hand, "Nice to meet you. So.... Who is the person we're looking after?"
" My father," Lucas said, " The great Lucario."
"Erm, do I get a say in this?" asked Ozymandias with a frown.
" Nope," replied Roy, in a taunting tone," but if you're good, you will get a surprise."
Lucas stopped at stared at Roy who burst out laughing.

" Come on, Roy," he replied, as he started walking again.
Kyle walked back inside as well, and was talked to Kristal privately. "I want you to go with them, to make sure they succeed, and that the Chimchar doesn't betray them." Kristal looked surprised.
"But brother, I-!"
"I think it would be a good chance for you to gain experience." Kyle said. "And remember," He held his necklace, "I'm always with you." Kristal nodded.
"Thank you." They returned to the main group.

"Well, all right then..." Katsuhi began. "Which way do we head towards?" He was eager to start.

The three of them began to walk towards the mountains. Katsuhi turned back.
"Don't worry... We can do this." Katsuhi assured him.
"I'm not doubting that, even though I've know you people for like three minutes." Ronin laughed as he continued walking.
"Heh... Yeah..." Katsuri said as he turned back the direction he was going and started walking again.
Kristal ran up to the ((three?)) other adventurers. "Apparently, I'll be accompanying you on your journey. It seems that you could use a cool-headed girl around." She said.
Katsuhi looked at her a moment.
"Well, all right." Katsuhi began. "The more help we have, the better."
Kristal made a quick headcount. "So, including the Chimchar," Kristal made a mental note to ask his name later, "we have a total of five people in the group. Correct?"

"Yeah, looks like it." Katsuhi began. "It definitely sounds like good odds when it gets to the point if we're attacked or something..."

Roy nodded in unison.
" Let's go," Lucas added, starting to walk.
Kristal was about to follow, when she turned back to see the base. She saw Kyle waving her goodbye. Half of her wanted to go back and say goodbye as well, but on the other hand, they couldn't lose much time. She waved back, and caught up to the rest of the gang. I'll be back before long, brother...
Kristal responded to Lucas. "However, it would be hard to do a covert mission. I mean, what if your father is captured by the same creatures from earlier?" She shivered slightly. "Those weren't normal, wild Pokemon we faced back in the woods, you know..."
" If he is, which I doubt," Lucas replied," we'll win."
" What if there's ten," Roy said.
" If there is," Lucas said," we, or at least I, will fight 'till i'm dead.
Lucas looked fierce as he said it.
Kristal sighed. "You two don't understand, do you? If we had to inflitrate, say, a large building where your dad was that was filled with enemies, it would be hard to move without being caught by them. Therefore, we'd have to split up, and though we'd cover more ground that way, we'd have no way of telling whether someone else found your father or not."
"Good point... But I've been training for the lat... About 4 years so I could..." Katsuhi began, but then he paused. "... Nevermind. With my training, it probably won't be as hard as it may seem."
"I hope you're right." Kristal said. "I'm sure not all of us know much about each other, so let's go around and introduce our names, and things we like to do, stuff like that. Lucas, you can go first, since this is your mission."
" Got it," Lucas replied," Lucas the Riolu. " Now..."
" Roy the Larvitar," Roy interrupted.
" Don't interrupt me," Lucas said," proceed."
"I'm Kristal." The Treecko said. "My hobbies are walking in the forrest and eating apples." And spending time with Kyle, but they don't know that...
Lucas grinned at Kristal, then nodded.
" I forgot," he said," to get supplies. Roy."
" Yes," Roy replied. He then knew. " Roger," he added.
Roy then darted towards town.
"So, where was your father's DNA found?" Kristal asked as she sat down on a log. Luckily, she had brought a bag of her own, so she had a few supplies that could keep her alive. However, she didn't have enough for everyone.
" According to Roy," Lucas began," the mountains.
Lucas had 3 Oran berries left, plus the scanner.
"I'm Ronin." the Buizel said, pointing at himself, "I like adventures, which is why I left home. And I have a few supplies... But only enough for me..." he said as he looked at the ground in a slightly depressed way bacause he didn't have enough supplies for everyone.
"Now, don't feel bad." Kristal said, smiling a bit at Ronin. "I did the same thing. I think everyone should be responsible for themselves, when it comes to being prepared." She turned her attention back to Lucas. "The mountains, huh? It'll be pretty snowy up there, so we should prepare for a long and cold journey."

Kristal sighed, dug into her bag, pulled out a flute, and began to play quietly. She was passing the time while waiting for Roy to get back.
"Well, I'm Katsuhi." He began. "I like training and sleeping, and my favorite food is ramen with extra miso pork." He smiled.
Kristal stopped playing her flute, and put it back in her bag. "Now that we're all acquainted, all we have to do is wait for Roy to get back."
Roy came back a while later, with enough for 3 Reviver seeds each, 5 Oran Berries each, and 10 apples.

" Now we can get going," Lucas said, beginning to walk again. " Nice to meet you, Katsuhi," he added, turning around for a second before walking again.
((Huh? "Pokeflute"?))
Kristal put her bag over her shoulder and followed Lucas. "Come on, we don't have all the time in the world!" She shouted to the others. She then remembered that she would have to ask the Chimchar to introduce himself later.

Ozymandias followed silently, scowling.
High above, however, a Murkrow soared over. Fugue looked down at the party.
"Found 'em, boss," he said, seemingly to no one.
Good. Watch them, came a sinister voice in his head.
"Yes, Darkrai, sir."
Figure out what they're up to.
"Yeah, yeah."
Don't speak in that insolent tone!
"Yes, sir. But..."
But what?
"It's just, this Chimchar, why would he be associating with rescuers if he serves you?"
Ozymandias was on a mission to destroy some rescue team bases. He was apprehended by that Treecko and her brother. From what I can tell, he is being forced to be with them at the moment. Continue to watch them, but do not interfere until I command.
Fugue was silent after that. He continued to gaze down at the travelers.
((Not what I was intending it to be, but perhaps... Though it could be godmodding later on, I was hoping it could be the Azure Flute.))
Kristal slowed down and ended up walking next to Ozymandias. "Sorry that we didn't have time to introduce you, but we had to get going." She said. "I, however, am highly interested. What's your name?"

Ozymandias looked at her.
"Ozymandias," he muttered, sorely tempted to make some snide remark.
((From Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, the Azure Flute is one of the event items that allows you to access the stairs from the Spear Pillar to fight Arceus. Though, it could have other properties in this RP.))
Kristal held her hand out for Ozymandias to shake. "Pleased to meet you."

Ozymandias took her hand and shook
"Likewise," he said.
"I know you don't want to talk about your past, or anything like that," Kristal said, "but I just want you to know something. We're a team here. You can tell us anything you want. I'm not saying you should, if something terrible could happen if you tell us. All I want you to do is know that, and that you can tell us anything. We'll keep it a secret if you want, 'kay?" She finished with a smile.
Ozymandias was shocked. He had attacked her and her brother, and yet she was so friendly. He smiled.
"Okay," he mumbled.
"Yeah, I know, my nature is weird." Kristal said, looking up at the sky. "I'll do anything for my brother, but I'm also easily forgiving to others who try to harm us. It's really weird." She closed her eyes. "Sometimes I worry that it might kill me someday."
"Yeah, it probably will," muttered Ozymandias. He cursed himself mentally. "Eh... I mean. That was tactless of me."
"Don't worry." Kristal said, not breaking her stride. "I'm trying to become more defensive, and I'm also trying to increase my strength. Maybe this journey can help myself be more aware, and self-concious."
"Maybe," said Ozymandias. He was yelling at himself in his head. No emotion! screamed his mind. Get a grip! He looked down, trying to hide the tinge of red that had gone to his cheeks.
Kristal noticed Ozymandias's odd behavior. "You okay?" She asked.
"F- fine!" said Ozymandias, an uncharacteristic stutter entering his voice.
"You sure?" Kristal asked, concerned. We can't afford to slow down...
"I'm alright!" he said loudly.
"Whatever you say." Kristal said, backing off. Something's not right...
Lucas saw them talking. " What's the matter?" he asked
Roy stopped too and ran and told the others.
Katsuhi also stopped and looked back at the Chimchar.
"Dang... What's going on now?" Katsuhi thought to himself as he tried to think of what was going on.
"I shouldn't interfere. It's their coversation after all." Ronin muttered to himself.
" I wonder if......" Lucas thought," nah, she wouldn't."
" Let's go!!" Lucas shouted, as he and Roy started walking again.
Katsuhi also began walking again, but he kept watching Ozymandias behind him.
Finally the group reached the mountains.
" Who GOES THERE?!!!!!?" a voice rang out.
It was an Articuno.
" Battle!!!" Lucas yelled, lunging at the Articuno with fire punch.
"Heh... The type line up is perfect for me..." Katsuhi said as he began to charge up a Flamethrower attack.
"How anticlimactic." Kristal said, as she got in her ready position. Hmm... if it's an ice type, then I should stay away... also, my normal attacks can't harm it that much. Heh. A smirk appeared on the Treecko's face. I was hoping to save this as an ace in the hole later, but it looks like I have no choice... "Cover me!" She shouted, as she began to put all of her energy into her right hand. Focus... just like Kyle does...
Katsuhi fired the Flamethrower at the Articuno, maintaining the stream as Kristal prepared whatever move she was getting ready for.
The Arcticuno blew dodged the punch and the flamethrower easily.
" Grr...." Lucas said," Roy, protect Kristal!!"
Roy jumped in front and looked fierce.
The energy in Kristal's palm soon became visible, and was beginning to build up. Just a little more... Her hand crackled with electricity. "Thunderu..."
"Fire Spin!" cried Ozymandias, sending a blast of flame at the ice Pokemon.
Katsuhi ran to the other side of the Articuno and charged another Flamethrower. He let it loose, and it went straight at it as Ozymandias' Fire Spin was coming at the Articuno as well.
It's ready! Just as the two fire attacks were released at the ice bird, Kristal ran up, and jumped at it. "...Punch!" She rocketed her fist forward, in hopes of it colliding with Articuno.
Roy jumped out of the way. " Rock Slide!!!" he shouted, as a barrage of rocks flew at Articuno.
" Aura Sphere!!!!," Lucas yelled, as a ball of aura combined with the rest. " Kristal absorb the energy!!!!" Lucas shouted.
"What?!" She yelled as she went on her collision course with Articuno. The noise of the attacks was too loud.
" ABSORB THE ENERGY!!!!!!" Lucas shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Flame Wheel!" said Ozymandias. He rocketed at Articuno, engulfed in flame.
Lucas covered his eyes, and so did Roy. They knew it wouldn't go well.
Kristal saw what was happening, and quickly put all of her wait possible on the ground. She aimed her fist at the ground, and plummeted fast. Her fist got engulfed in the snowy ground below. She watched above as the attacks went on their way to Articuno. ...That was close...
((Wow... those attacks are traveling slow...))

The attacks hit Articuno, but he went out of control.
" Kristal!," Lucas yelled, making a punch signal while he charged his Fire Punch.
Luckily, the Thunder in Kristal's hand hadn't completely died out, so she charged more power into it, and ran up to the Articuno as it spiraled to the ground. "Let's go!" She called to Lucas.
" Roger," he said, jumping up, " FIRE PUNCH!!!!!"
"Thunderu..." Kristal closed in on Articuno. She jumped up, and slammed her fist down. "PUNCH!"
Articuno tried to shield, but the 2 attacks threw it down to the ground. All of a sudden, they saw a black aura come from it. (( Darkrai))
" What the heck is that!?," Roy screamed.
((Godmodding. Tri is Darkrai, and without his permission, you can't make a dark aura that is Darkrai come from another Pokemon. But, whatever.))
Kristal jumped back. ...What the hell...? She clutched her necklace.

Kyle walked back into the base. Kristal... as long as you wear that necklace, he can't harm you. It's my promise, our bond. Don't worry... he won't harm you, as long as I'm alive. He clutched his necklace as well, as if in unison with his sister.

"What is that thing?!?" Ronin yelled.
"Oh, no..." Katsuhi said in shock. "This isn't good... But... If he's here... Then that means..."
"Hello, Katsuhi..." A voice came from out of nowhere. Katsuhi knew who's voice that was. Katsuhi looked around quickly to see which direction it had come from. He looked up and on a tree branch, there was an Electrike standing there. He had dark bands around each of his legs.
"... Maetoka..." Katsuhi said as he looked at the Electrike.
Roy was astonished and scared. Lucas heard a voice. He looked oozy and fainted.

" Wha.." Lucas replied, waking up," Dad!!!!"
" Yes," said Lucario," it is me."
Lucas was about to faint again because he was so happy.
" Where are we?," Lucas finally asked.
" Well," Lucario went on," you are unconscious, and I am using telepathy."
Lucas was about to speak, when Lucario added," I must go. Meet me at the top of the mountain."
Everything went dark, but Lucas didn't wake up yet.
Kristal noticed the unconcious Riolu at her side. "Great, as if things weren't bad enough." She thought out loud.
Lucas finally woke up.
" Kristal," he said," I saw my dad. He's at the top of the mountains. Let's go. Roy will handle things here."
Roy nodded.
Kristal looked to the Larvitar, and then to Katsuhi. "What about him?" She asked.
" Stay," Lucas replied," we won't be gone long."
And with that he motioned to Kristal, than started running up the mountain.
Kristal sighed, then followed. "If anyone from our team dies down there, I'm blaming you. Then you'll be in a helluva lot of pain."
" Don't worry," Lucas said while running," it's 2 to 1."
Lucas smiled as he was running.
Kristal felt the loss of pressure and gain of altitude as they ran up the mountain. She began to breathe more heavily. "And Ozymandias?"
" Ronin will take care of him, while Roy and Katsuhi will handle Darkrai," Lucas replied, out of breath.
He saw that Kristal was out of breath too.
" Here," he added, handing her an Oran berry.

Roy issued commands. "Ronin, take Ozimandias. Katsuhi, help me with Darkrai."
((Ozymandias is on our side for now, I thought.))
Kristal shoved the berry away bruptly, still breathing heavily. "Sorry, but it's not my energy that's worn out." She sat down on a rock to catch her breath. "I'm just not used to a change in weather so quickly, especially in the cold. My type is weak to ice like this." She kicked at the snow that rested under her feet. "I'm sorry. We should get going again." She said, standing up.

" It's ok," Lucas replied with a smile," stop when you need rest."
"Thanks for keeping me in mind," Kristal started, as she pulled out a snow-white scarf from her bag, "but we need to find your father more than worry about me. Who knows how long he's been out here, and how much longer he can survive." She looked up at the intimidating peak of the mountain. "Are you sure he's up here?"
" Yes," replied Lucas," Let's go."
Lucas started but soon stopped. " Do you have another scarf?," he asked Kristal, embarrassed.
Kristal sighed, smirking a bit. "You're hopeless if you ever need to go on a long-distance journey. Lucky for you," She said, pulling out a scarf of the like from her bag, "I always keep a spare, incase my scarf gets damaged or lost." She handed it to Lucas.
Darkrai appeared from the darkness around Articuno. With a wavd of his arm, he sent a dark mist at the team. "Dark Void," he muttered.
Ozymandias looked in shock. But the Dark Void was not meant for him. He knew it wouldn't do to resist Darkrai. He looked at Ronin, who had been ordered to take him, and sent a Fire Spin his way.
Above him, Fugue swooped down with an evil laugh. "Toxic!" he cried, swewing the poisonous liquid at Ronin.
Kristal felt a large wave of dark energy back where the others were. She looked back down, concerned for the others.
Even though he was given an order, Katsuhi was still motionless, staring at Maetoka.
"Heh... What's the matter, Katsuhi? Scared as always?" Maetoka taunted Katsuhi with a joking voice.
"No, Maetoka..." Katsuhi began. "Look, I'm not sure if your answer will change, but... Please, you've got to leave Darkrai!"
"What? And give up on my search for power? Never..." Maetoka replied rudely. Katsuhi gritted his teeth angrily. "Besides... The only way to defeat my brother is through Darkrai's power... I have to defeat my brother... At any costs..."
"Do you not care that he's going to hurt many others?!" Katsuhi shouted at Maetoka. There was a silence for a while.
"Enough..." Maetoka said quietly, and he suddenly became engulfed in large sparks. "Volt Tackle." Maetoka leaped down from the tree and began to rush at Katsuhi as fast as he could.
Lucas kept on going. " Once we find my father, he can help us," Lucas said, very nervous.
" What if we don't find him," he thought.

Kristal noticed the Riolu's depression. "Hey, we'll find him! I mean, you did have a vision... didn't you?"
" Right," Lucas replied with a grin," we'll find him. Come on!"
Lucas started running faster than before.
Kristal sighed in disbelief as she watched the determined Riolu run away. Heh... what is it with men and hyperactivity?

Lucas stopped 20 seconds later. " Are you coming?" he said.
Kristal took in a deep breath. "Yes, just keep running!" She shouted up to him. "I'll catch up with you eventually!" She began to jog behind him. I have to save my strength and energy...
" Ok," Lucas replied, running as fast as he could.

Roy just lay there. His energy was drained.....(( sorry)).....All of a sudden a yellow light surrounded Roy. He was evolving.
Darkrai chuckled. Even a Pupitar would not be much trouble.
Lucas felt that something was wrong. He remembered his dream. He saw this dark aura. " Darkrai set me up!" he shouted, running back.
"Well, well," said Darkrai, hearing Lucas. "He seems to have figured it out. You three, Ozymandias, Fugue, and Maetoka. Handle the ones here. I shall get the other two."
Kristal - confused - began running back to Lucas. "Wait!" She began to lose her breath again. "What about the DNA?"
Lucas stopped. " You try to find him."
Kristal stared at Lucas blankly. "What do you mean, 'I find him'? He's your father! You go and look for him while I help the others."

Background: Spike's mom died at child birth. Spike's dad was later kidnapped as a slave for Darkrai and then killed when he refused to kill a group of pokemon. Spike grew up wanting to avenge his father's death, and help other pokemon. He resides in a cave like house, next to Makuhita's Gym.

" Sure," Lucas replied," go...And get your brother to help."
He started running up the mountain.
Katsuhi jumped up to try and evade Maetoka's oncoming attack, but it wasn't enough, as Maetoka also jumped up, slamming into Katsuhi's gut at high force.
"Ghuh!!" Katsuhi said in pain as spat out a bit of blood. He hit the ground, and rolled a bit before, forcing himself back to his feet. "Quick Attack!" He began to rush at Maetoka at high speed. "Fire Spin!" He shot out the twirling flames so that they wrapped around himself as he dashed at Maetoka.
"Combo moves? Those are pathetic..." Maetoka said with a smirk. He just stood there for a moment. "... Agility." He suddenly vanished, causing Katsuhi to stop in confusion. Maetoka appeared above Katsuhi. "Thunderbolt." He charged up his body and shot out the large blue sparks down at Katsuhi. They unfortunately made perfect contact.
"GYAAH!!" Katsuhi shouted in pain from the force of the blast.
Roy took on Ozimandias.
((What happened to Ronin? And Roy is Pupitar now?))
Ozymandias sent a Fire Spin at Roy.
" Dragonbreath!" Roy exclamed. The moves made a thundrous noise as they clashed.
"Quick Attack!" cried Ozymandias, rushing at Roy. Then he said "Fire Spin!" and the flames whirled around him as he charged.
Spike was running against the mud wall, fighting off two Sandshrews.
"Ah! Bonerang!" Spike took his bone and tossed it at the Sandshrews. One of them was knocked down, but the other dodged it, and attacked with a mud-slap.
"Ow! Oh yeah, let's see you dodge this one armor face. Rollout!" Spike curled up into a ball, and with the speed of a Doduo, he charged the other Sandshrew. The Sandshrew didn't have time to move, Spike hit it with such force, it made an imprint in the mud wall.
"That'll teach you to never mess with Bone Heads." Spike ran along the mud wall, until he found an exit. He saw the sun and knew that he passed.
"Aw come on Makuhita, is that seriously the best you can throw at me?"
Makuhita was leaning on the door of his Dojo.
"Well, at least, for the Advanced Level, it looks like I'm going to have to hook you up in my Elite Class."
"Awesome! When can I-"
That was when Spike started to notice and hear a commotion nearby from the mountains.
"H-h-Hang on Makuhita, I'll be right back."
"Whatever kid."
Spike headed a trail that lead up the dusty hills and into the mountains. The level of noise coming from the commotion began to increase. That was when he noticed some signs of burnt trees and ground.
Is this from...a battle?
Spike headed more towards the noise until he found something he thought that he never would find in his entire life.
"*Gasps* Darkrai!"
Spike watched on as he saw a Vulpix, Pupitar, and a Buizel trying to hold off against Darkrai and a Chimchar, Eletrike, and a Murkrow.
Maybe I should help them...
He made up his mind, and when the Chimchar charged the Pupitar, he jumped in and attempted an attack against the Chimchar with his bone stick.
"Hey, you ok Pupitar, or whatever your name is?"

"DARKRAI! You have a debt to pay, A DEBT TO PAY TO THE LIFE OF MY FATHER YOU PIECE OF VERMIN!"
Spike got away from the Chimchar, and charged Darkrai, yelling,
"Bonerang!" Spike got his bone club and hurled it towards Darkrai.
"YOU IDIOT!" Kristal screamed at Spike.
"He killed my father, and now, I'M GOING TO KILL HIM!" Spike curled up and prepared for his rollout attack.

Spike saw that not one attack was affecting him.
Darn it! That treecko is right, I'm not ready yet...
Spike then saw a Riolu running away in the direction that Darkrai was headed.
Is Darkrai....after that Riolu?
Spike then met up with the Riolu.
"Listen, I don't know if you know, but that Darkrai is on your tail. I'll help you get out of these mountains quicker than on your own. I know these parts, so follow me if you wanna get away from Darkrai."
"Why bother?" said Darkrai, appearing in front of them. "I'm already here. Dark Pulse!" A dark aura engulfed him, and a dark shockwave flew from him all around.
Katsuhi was just stumbling in place from the immense attack power that Maetoka had dealt out. It almost seemed that he was about to fall over.
"Seriously?" Maetoka taunted Katsuhi again. "That's all you can take? And you said you were gonna force me back with you... Hah!"
"Shut up..." Katsuhi said as he then began to regain his balance. "Just shut up... I was hoping I didn't have to use this style..."
Katsuhi's legs shook a bit. Soon, his front paws began to lift off the ground, his hind legs shaking even more. Maetoka just looked at him as Katsuhi was now only on two legs. Katsuhi then made a pose.
"Oh?" Maetoka said as he examined Katsuhi. "So you've mastered the "Beast's Stride" stance? Well, there's something that I never thought you'd accomplish... But unfortunately for you..." Maetoka pushed off from the ground, and now he was standing just as Katsuhi was. "I've mastered it, as well."
"Just shut up and fight..." Katsuhi growled at Maetoka as he began to dash at him.
Spike was startled by Darkrai's sudden appearance. Spike was too stunned to protect himself from the shockwave.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! GAHHHHHH!" Spike was hit hard, he was sent flying into a tree and his body crumpled. But then, he got up, limping.
Spike turned towards Darkrai and said,
"Hello, my name is Spike. I'm the son of the marowak that you killed several years ago. And now, your going to pay!" Spike then used his Bonerang and hurled his bone club at Darkrai.

Maetoka also began to run as Katsuhi ran for him. Katsuhi, though, had a bit more of a plan.
"Double Quick Attack!" Katsuhi shouted as he seemed to almost disappear. Maetoka was surprised at the maneuver and stopped to look around quickly.
"Wha? When did he learn to double power techniques?" Maetoke asked himself. From out of nowhere, Katsuhi slammed right into Maetoka's side, sending him spiraling into a tree. "Gyaah!!" Katsuhi skidded to a stop several feet away from him.
"I told you, Maetoka..." Katsuhi said with a smirk on his face. "I've been training!" Maetoka slowly got to his feet.
"Heh... Not bad..." Maetoka said as he looked at Katsuhi, smiling. "But I can do better!"
Darkrai teleported behind Spike. "Kill your father? Did I really? I do tend to forget unimportant details like that," he said. He paused, pretending to think. "Oh yes. Now I recall. He struggled quite a bit. But no matter. You'll be seeing him very soon."
Roy lunged at Ozimandias. " Dragonbreath!!!" he exclamed.
Lucas meanwhile kept on looking. He was tired because he traveled
over 50 miles.
"How dare you speak of my father in vain! I will kill you with my bare hands, even it is the last thing I do!"
Spike then used Rollout and charged Darkrai.

Kristal tried to stay out of the battle, trying to find a way to help. I just want all this fighting to end...

Ozymandias was hit by Dragonbreath but managed to recover. "Fire Spin!" he said, sending the flames at Roy.
Darkrai, meanwhile, teleported out of the way. "If thats your best, then you'll be even easier prey than your father!" he taunted.
Stupid Darkrai, powerful, but stupid....
Since Spike's Rollout was still charged up, he directed hit the tree that was behind Darkrai and sent it down towards Darkrai.
I bet he'll teleport again, he can't possibly have that much energy.
"Dark Pulse!" said Darkrai, sending wave of darkness at Spike.
Kristal watched the battle between Roy and Ozymandias with dismay. "Please, stop!" She pleaded to the fighters.
Ozymandias gave Kristal a sad look. "Do you really think I want to do this?"
"I don't know!" She yelled, tired of the fighting and the bitter cold. "You're the one who never told me about yourself!"
"LIKE I EVER HAD A CHOICE!" he yelled, angry at himself, at Darkrai, and at her.
Kristal recoiled in fear, sadness, and grief. "I... didn't know... I mean... doesn't everyone have a choice?" She asked, seemingly to no one.
Spike crushed the blasted his way through the Dark Pulse and charged with incredible speed, still on his Rollout.
"Everyone may have a choice," said Ozymandias sadly. "But sometimes, the choice is made for you."
Darkrai was slammed by Rollout. "Psychic," he said after recovering. Several trees were uprooted and sent flying at Spike.
"I wish..." Kristal said, "...that I could help you, someway."
"Well, unless you know someone who can get rid of Darkrai, there is no chance," he said.
After Spike slammed into Darkrai, he didn't have time to dodge the next attack. And the trees around him were sent flying into him.
"OOOF!" Spike flew across the ground. Spike struggled to get up....
"....Why....why must you torture pokemon this way? Didn't you used to be good once?" Spike used Bonerang once more and hurled it at Darkrai.
"You are foolish," chuckled Darkrai, sidestepping the Bonemerang. "Just like your father. He never learned his lesson. There is no good and evil. There is only power, and those too weak to take it."
"Your wrong Darkrai! Little truth you speak Darkrai, I believe there is good and evil in all of us, it just takes our will to decide what we want in the end..." Spike recovered his Bonerang and ran up to Darkrai. He then attacked Darkrai with his bone club full force.
"You are a fool," said Darkrai, allowing the attack to connect. "Dark Pulse!" A full force pulse rushed at Spike from close range.
"I don't think I know anyone like that..." Kristal told Ozymandias, determination in her eyes, "...but I'll try my hardest!" She ran to where Spike and Darkrai were fighting, and she shot a few leaves at Darkrai.

Kyle felt something in his heart. No! He rushed out the door, and began to run towards the mountains.
Ozymandias ran after her, hoping Darkrai would not harm her.
Darkrai waved the leaves aside with Psychic. He turned to face Kristal. He frowned when he saw her necklace. His frown deepened when he saw Ozymandias. "What is this emotion in your heart, Chimchar?" he spat at Ozymandias. He looked at Kristal. "And you, girl, why do you wear that necklace?"
Spike was only able to partially block the blow, but the rest knocked him back. That was when he saw the treecko attack Darkrai.
No....no no no no NO!
"NO! NOT YOU! GET OUT OF HERE! HE'LL KILL YOU!" Spike tried to defend her by leaping in front of her and raised his bone club in protection.
"And why should I tell you?" Kristal spat back at Darkrai, ignoring Spike. She started feeling something to grow inside her. What the...?

Kyle looked at his necklace, and it began to shine. I don't have much time... EXTREMESPEED! He began to run even fater than before.

"What? I..." Ozymandias hesitated. Darkrai glared at him, and he could not argue. He turned to Kristal. "I'm sorry," he said. He sent his weakest Fire Spin at her.
Kristal dodged the Fire Spin, her eyes now glowing a bright blue. What's happening to me?! Without thinking, she shot more leaves at Darkrai.

Darkrai was hit, but did not flinch. He used Psychic to pick up Ozymandias and hurled the struggling Chimchar at Kristal.
Kristal had her vines come back into her arms and caught Ozymandias. "Are you ok?" She asked.
"F- fine," Ozymandias replied. "Thanks."
"Kristal!" Spike then felt an anger that made him feel mad, more mad than ever before, even more mad when he heard about his father's death.
"Alright, that's it! Darkrai! Leave Kristal out of this, this started with you and me, and it will end with you and me!" Spike's club started to glow, and he knew it was time.
Spike threw his club away and shouted,
"Mach Punch!" Spike ran up and as fast as light, he attacked with a powerful punch at the face.
"Fool," said Darkrai. The punch landed, but he was barely affected. "Fighting type attacks are useless against ghosts."
Perfect...
Spike then used a Rollout, where Darkrai couldn't escape.
"Now...LEAVE HER ALONE ALIEN BAG!"
Darkrai was knocked away. He uprooted more trees and sent them at Spike, Kristal, and Ozymandias.

"Treecko, Ozzy, look out!" Spike pushed them out of the way, just before the trees crushed him.
Roy saw what happened. " Ozimandias, we will free you," he said confidently.

All of a sudden, he heard a voice a few yards away ( meters for Canada).

Kristal began to shoot more leaves at Darkrai, but it was faster this time.
Spike followed by using Bonerang.
Ozymandias added Fire Spin to their attacks. Darkrai was hit directly.
"Enough!" he cried, soaring high into the air. The sky turned dark. "DARK VOID!"
Dark mist emanated from him in all directions, putting any who touched it into immediate sleep.
"Not so fast!" Kristal quickly whipped out her flute with her vines. What in the world...? She held it to her lips, without thinking. ...A new move? "Requiem!" She began to play a song on her flute, and a blue sphere began to grow around her. It expanded, and covered herself and Ozymandias. The Dark Void attack passed through them, leaving them unharmed.
((Sorry Wolf, but she doesn't have enough experience with the move to enlarge it. By the way, I hope this shouldn't classify as Godmodding, because:
1) I already had this move planned, ever since I had begun writing my fanfic and creating the characters.
2) This is her fourth move, thus completing her moveset.))
Ozymandias stared in awe as the Dark Void proved ineffectual.
"What is this?" he wondered out loud. Then he looked over to Spike. "Uh..."
Kristal had her eyes closed, and continued to play.

Kyle felt the presence of Darkrai. He's close... and so is Kristal.

"Uh... Keep playing, Kristal," said Ozymandias.
Darkrai was enraged that his attack had failed. He emanated a blue aura and rocks flew up from the earth. "PSYCHIC!" he yelled, and the rocks rocketed down towards them.
((Yes! ;D I made it up especially for my fanfic.))
Kristal continued to play, not knowing of the rocks flying towards her. However, the rocks were obliterated by a yellow blur that sped by incredibly fast. A cloud of dust rose from the speed of the creature's entrance, and when it settled, Kyle stood in the midst, the rocks reduced to mere rubble. "I thought we had a deal, Darkrai," He said, turning to the dark manifestation.
Kristal passed out from using so much strength, and the blue sphere dissapaited.
"Don't worry Ozzy, I got it covered." Spike used Dig to go underground, and appeared right next to Kristal and Ozzy.
"If you guys can just squeeze over, that would be nice." Spike then saw Darkrai use Psychic, that was stopped by a male pikachu.
Who's that.....but whoever he is, it doesn't matter, cause I'm going to avenge my father's death!
"DARKRAI! YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY FATHER!" Spike jumped out of the aura and charged Darkrai.
"ROLLOUT!"

Lucas and Lucario made their way back. " Hey everyone! Lucas shouted," Lucario is found!"
Spike got back up and saw a young riolu run back with an older lucario.
"Who are you? And if you don't mind right now, I'm trying to kill Darkrai, so if you going to help me, do it now."
((Err, Wolf, Kyle is a Pikachu. Not a Treecko.))
Kristal slowly opened her eyes. She saw Spike, though she was still in a dream-like state. "Why are you helping us...?" Kyle still had his focus on Darkrai.
"Don't you remember, Darkrai?" He asked again, becoming impatient.
Darkrai warded off the attacks with Psychic, turning to Kyle.
"Of course I remember," he said. "But she is not hurt. She wasted her own energy. If she had submitted to Dark Void, she would only suffer a bad dream or two. Oh, well."
Kyle turned and looked at Kristal, who had lost conciousness again. He faced Darkrai. "Hmph. You're lucky she hasn't been hurt, then."
"Oh, she's not hurt... But if she does happen to get hurt in the next few minutes, then it won't be my fault," chuckled Darkrai. "And you're really quite lucky she's unconscious. What would she think if she knew you were making deals with the likes of me?"
"Which is why things are happening the way they are," Kyle said, looking at Kristal again. I'm sorry... but this is the way things were meant to be. You may not remember, but I do... He turned back to Darkrai. "I think it would be best to retreat for now, and rethink our strategies."
"Very wise of you," said Darkrai dryly. "But you are right. Come" And with that, he created a portal and glided away.
Kyle jumped into the portal behind Darkrai, and began to close it. He looked over at Kristal, and touched his necklace. I'm always with you... The portal closed, and snow began to fall.
(( Where should the portal go? I'm too lazy to come up with anything. >_>))
Ozymandias stared dumbfounded at where the portal had been.
"What... the... hell?" he wondered out loud, looking back down at Kristal's unconscious form.

Kristal opened her eyes again, feeling colder than normal. She saw the snow gently falling around her. She looked towards Ozymandias. Her eyes had returned to normal. "Hey... what happened?"
((Good idea. XD))
Ozymandias looked at her for a moment before responding. "I'm not really sure," he said at last. "You used some sort of weird move with that flute, and Darkrai was about to smash us with some rocks, but Kyle saved us with Extremespeed. But then he said something about a deal..."
Kristal sighed in disbelief. She looked at the flute, which was still in her hand. "Kyle always did say I had a talent in using this thing, but a special move with it..." She shook her head, but snapped quickly back into reality. "Where is Kyle now?"
"He went with Darkrai," replied Ozymandias sadly. "Through a portal."
Kristal put her flute back into her bag. "What do you mean, 'he went with Darkrai'?"
"He followed Darkrai through a portal. He went with Darkrai."
Kristal still didn't understand fully. "He followed him? As in, he was captured, he made a deal... what?"
"He followed," repeated Ozymandias. "He said that he and Darkrai had a deal, and asked if Darkrai had forgotten. Then he suggested that they leave, and they did."
Kristal stared blankly at her bag. She began to clutch it more tightly. "Did Darkrai say anything that would cue to what the deal might be about?"
"Darkrai did say something about how you were mostly unharmed..."
Kristal turned to Ozymandias. "So... this is all my fault..."
"No. It's partly Kyle's fault, but mostly Darkrai's."

Those words stung at Kristal, and she recoiled a bit. Brother... what are you doing...? "...It's not like him..." She looked at the ground, her arms across her body. The icy snow was beginning to make her even colder.
"We don't know the circumstances behind the deal, though," said Ozymandias, trying to cheer her up. "Maybe he was forced to!"
"If he was forced to do it," Kristal said, sitting on a rock, looking up at Ozymandias, "then what are we supposed to do?"
"I don't know. WHat can we do?" said Ozymandias, rather discouraged. "We don't know where they went, we have no idea of what's going on with him, and we're helpless!"
"Dammit!" Kristal swore, banging her fists on the rock she was sitting on. "If only I was stronger... then I would be able to do something!"
"There's no use in wishing. We have to think of something, anything..."
Spike was frusterated at Darkrai's getaway.
"Dam it! I was so close, SO CLOSE!" Spike banged his club on the ground which made a little shake.
"I was almost ready, to KILL HIM!" Spike was so mad, he began to cry...

Kristal sat on the rock, thinking of what she could do. However, the bitter cold and mixed emotions made it hard for her to think clearly. Kyle... what the hell are you doing? She looked up, and saw a faint light in the distance. It was hard to see much, as it was getting dark now, but she could almost make out a figure. She got off the rock, and began to walk towards it without making a sound.

"If by "almost," you mean something like "not even close," then I'd agree with you," said Ozymandias dryly at SPike's outburst. He turned around and saw Kristal walking away. He walked after her. "Where are you going?"
Kristal seemed as if she didn't hear Ozymandias, and continued walking towards the light. It moved to her left, and she began to run after it.
"Be quiet, you don't know what it's like for me." Spike noticed that Kristal was going somewhere, somewhere near a place he knew that wouldn't be a good thing to be around.
"Hey hey, get away from there!" Spike ran over to stop her.
"What's wrong?" asked Ozymandias.

Kristal continued to run after the light, seeing it get brighter. She ignored Spike, as well as Ozymandias's comment. What is it...? She stumbled after running for awhile, and found herself deep in snow. She got up, and noticed that the light was gone. Also, the winds were getting harsher, and the snow was covering her vision. Oh my God... what's happening...? She began to shiver. "Ozzy!?" She cried out. "Kyle!? Lucas!" She waited for a response, not sure if anyone could hear her.

Spike could hear Kristal's cries and shouted,
"Kristal! Come to the sound of my voice!" Spike then ran in the direction of the footprints while he could.
"Kristal!"
Ozymandias followed after, but tripped into a snow drift. When he got up, Kristal was gone in the snow. He thought he could hear her calling for help, but couldn't be sure. He shivered a little. "Fire Spin!" he said, blowing a small flame to warm himself. He began walking to where he thought he could hear Kristal. He blew larger flames, in case anyone could see it.
"Kristal! Speak to me! Kristal!" Spike then sensed Ozzy trying to follow.
"Ozzy, take this!" Spike then threw his bone club towards Ozzy.
"Use one of your fire attacks at the pointed end. It can be used as a everlasting torch!"
Kristal looked at the ground, and noticed that the snow was covering her footprints. A blizzard?! She looked around, hearing a voice. She was pretty sure it was the Cubone's voice, but she couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. She looked around, and every direction looked the same. She then heard a large, ripping sound. She was becoming scared.
((Wolf, I still don't think Kristal's name was given to Spike. And "everlasting torch"? :P :-\))
Ozymandias could barely hear Spike over the wind, and was taken by surprise when the bone hit him in the head. "Ouch," he muttered, picking the bone up and lighting the tip as directed. He continued walking.
((Well, the bone can provide itself as a feeding source for the fire. And, it wasn't given, but Spike heard it being used.))
"Kristal! Answer me! It's me, Spike! Shout as loud as you can!" Spike decided it would be easier to head out on his Rollout attack. He curled up into a ball once more, and rushed over the snow, making a wide track and deep track so that the snow couldn't cover it quickly.
"Kristal? Kristal!"
Kristal looked around, and saw a faint light again. However, this one looked different. Nevertheless, she knew that light = warmth, and warmth = good. She began to run towards it with the little strength she had left, when a large, uprooted tree came seemingly out of nowhere, and hit her. She raised her left arm in defense, but it was no use.
She heard a cracking sound, and the tree rolled away from her. She collapsed onto the ground, blood pouring from her left arm and shoulder. She speculated that it was broken. Is this it... am I... going to die? She tried to get into a sitting position, but it seemed that the entire left portion of her body was immobilized. She then attempted to cry out one more time, but her voice was so dried and cracked that nothing came out. So she did the only thing she could do.
She began to cry.
Spike then started to hear a faint whimper to his left.
Kristal..
Spike rushed over and saw Kristal, half soaken in blood and immobilized. Spike saw a tree that had a little of the blood from Kristal.
No....
"Oh my god, Kristal! Come on, your going to be ok." Spike tried to pick her up.

Kristal remained limp. She was slipping in and out of conciousness. Right before she went unconcious again, she heard another ripping sound...
Another tree came flying, this time in Spike's direction.
"What the-" Spike just saw the tree, and using the last of his power, he used Mach Punch to obliterate the tree.
"Come on Kristal, you gotta get up." Spike then grasped her by the head and her body. He lifted her up and then started calling out.
"Ozzy? Ozzy!" Spike then started to head out nowhere in the blizzard.
"Don't die Kristal, please...don't die..."
Ozymandias thought he could make out Spike through the snow, and started running in that direction. He saw Kristal drenched in blood.
"What happened!?" he asked.
Another ripping noise was heard, and a tree flew out of nowhere. It caught onto Kristal, and she was flung into the darkness. She landed inside a rocky cave a few feet away. More ripping noises could soon be heard, and trees were flying all over the place.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" yelled Ozymandias. He was about to inquire as to what was going on when a tree slammed into him, flinging him several feet away, barely conscious. "Ugh," he said, getting on all-fours. He crawled to the cave he saw Kristal get knocked into, but before he could enter and find her, a tree caught him by surprise and sent him away. His strength was spent by now, and he lost consciousness.
"Kristal, no!" Spike tried to catch up to her when another tree flew in. Spike was now angry, very angry.
"WHAT'S GOING ON!?" Spike shouted as he smashed the tree with his Mach Punch.
((By the way, Mach Punch is his last move))
"Kristal? Ozzy?" Spike shouted across the howling blizzard.
Father...send me a sign...that you hear me....send me help...please...
"FATHER! HELP ME!"

Background: Trigger is Spike's childhood friend and took care of Spike when he became an orphan. After when Spike left to take a house of his own, Trigger visited him often, teaming up in Makuhita's Gym. Trigger now tries to not only help pokemon, but to find the famed Lucario.

Kristal slowly opened her eyes. She saw the raging winds and howling snow outside of a cave she was in. Trees were flying all over the place, and she saw one heading straight for an unconcious Chimchar. Ozymandias. Kristal gasped, and tried to raise her blood drenched left arm, but nothing happened. Her left side was completely numb. She raised her right arm, and shot a vine towards Ozymandias, and tried to get a grasp on him.
Ozymandias lay limp. He woke up when he thought he felt something grasping him. He tried to move, but it hurt too much. He saw the tree heading towards him and groaned. He tried to look at what was grasping him and saw it was Kristal's vine. At least she's alive, he thought grimly.
Kristal's vine caught Ozymandias by the waist. She was about to haul him back, when the tree came at him. I'm too late!! However, the tree made an unexpected turn in the way it was moving, and flew directly over the Chimchar. Kristal sighed in relief, and proceeded in bringing him into the cave. Where is that Cubone?
That was close. thought Ozymandias as he was dragged into the cave.
"Thanks," he said when he was safely inside.

"Trigger! Thank goodness your here!"
"What's going on Spike?"
Wolf explained quickly everything that happened.
"And now there near that cave over there. One's limp and the other one is half soaked in blood."
"Alright, hop on!" Spike rode Trigger until they got to the cave. It was black, so they couldn't see.
"Here, hold out your club." Spike gave it to Trigger and he lit it.
"Kristal, Ozzy?"
Kristal nodded. "No problem." She looked over to the entrance with an expression of happiness, but then was stunned when five or so trees came flying over towards the cave. No! She closed her eyes, waiting to be crushed. But nothing happened. She opened her eyes again to see the trees all bunched together, blocking the entrance to the cave. She could hear more thudding from beyond the clotted entrance, signaling more trees and other objects blocking the entrance. They were trapped.
Ozymandias tried to move, but it hurt. Best case scenario would be I only have a rib or two broken... Not too likely. Worst case scenario: I really don't wanna think about that. he thought, considering the possibilities. Then he looked at the cave entrance. "Great. Now we're stuck, and two of us are injured."
"Spike look out!" Trigger picked up Spike and ran just as a dozen trees blocked the cave.
"Great, take me about an hour to burn this up." Trigger said disdainfully.
"We should find the others first." Spike then led Trigger around until they saw a figure in the dark.
"Kristal, Ozzy?!"
"Damn," Kristal swore, looking at the entrance as well. She also noticed something else. "You," She said, pointing over at the Cubone, "can you break off some of the smaller pieces of wood from the trees, and try to make a fire with your torch?" She asked, beginning to wrap her wound with the scarf she wore.
"Kristal, here." Spike took of his furskin coat and wrapped it around her.
"Hey Spike, don't you still have some Miracle Seeds?" Trigger asked.
"Oh yeah, take these guys." Spike offered Kristal and Ozzy two rainbow colored seeds.
"Come on Trigger, let's bust these trees to bits." Spike took the enflamed bone club and banged on the trees, which set them on fire. Trigger followed by attacking with Flame Wheel.
"Get it open!"
"NO, YOU IDIOTS!" Kristal screamed at the Cubone and Ponyta. It hurt to yell, but she had to get their attention. "We don't want to get out! We have to stay in here until the storm dies out!"
"Well, this cave ain't the place to camp out, as hard to believe. Unless you want security watching which we can do." Spike halted and Trigger started collecting some of the wood was broken. He picked it up and placed it in the middle of the group. He lit it, blew on it, and fed more tinder until it was a blazing campfire.
"Eat Kristal, makes you feel better." Spike said as he began to make a cast for Kristal's arm. Trigger brought some tinder and covered it with fur, and pushed Ozzy's head onto it.
"So how long have you guys been here?"
Kristal reached into her bag with her good arm, and pulled out an apple. She threw it into the air, took out two leaves and threw them at the apple. It split into four equal pieces, each falling to the Pokemon in the cave. Kristal caught hers with expertise. "How am I supposed to know that? I was unconcious when I got here, I suppose. So... I'm not really sure."
"Kristal, I meant how long you have been a rescuer? Or are you something different?"
Spike ate his apple slice with little interest, while Trigger took small bites, while he kept watch.
"Kristal, you should eat the Miracle Seed, it'll heal your bones."
Ozymandias caught the apple slice and began eating. IT hurt to chew, but he felt marginally better. He ate the Miracle Seed next, and the pain subsided, though he wasn't healed completely.
Kristal swallowed the seed without hesitation. "Thank you. And, no, I'm not a rescuer. Well, not exactly... My brother and I came here a few years ago. When we got here, we wanted to make a living, so we decided to create a base here after doing various odd jobs. It wasn't so much a base, per se, as a home. We would occasionally save other Pokemon when they were trapped or hurt, but not often. Most of the time we would be looking for certain things..." She looked down at her apple piece without much interest.
"That makes sense. Trigger, any sign of wild pokemon?"
"Nothing around here." Trigger shouted back.
"I bet you were wondering why I was so intent on killing Darkrai."
"Enlighten me," Kristal said blandly, taking a bite out of her apple.
"Darkrai killed Spike's dad, end of story, good night unto all." Trigger said angrily.
"Trigger, if you don't want to hear it, then you can leave." Trigger stormed off, heading deeper into the cave.
"My mom died at labor, and my dad was a slave to Darkrai and refused to kill a pokemon. Darkrai killed my dad instead. Trigger was the pokemon he refused to kill, and he watched it as a newborn ponyta. He protected me ever since."
((Err... Pokemon don't go into labor, in case you didn't notice... Ever since the Day Care Center was introduced in the series, you know Pokemon hatch from eggs.))
Kristal looked at Spike. "I'm... sorry." She said sincerely.

Lucario looked pale. " I'm going home," he said," i'm tired."
Lucas smiled. " Go ahead, Dad," he replied.
Lucario then ran into Pokemon Square.
" Kristal, Ozimandias!" Lucas yelled," where are you guys!?"
((I didn't either. Wolf just made him magically appear, claiming he was the light Kristal saw earlier, which it wasn't. I'm the only one who truly knows... mwahahaha!!!))

((Exactly. See? It does matter. Anyway, Kristal, Ozymandias, Spike, and Trigger are all trapped in an unknown cave at an undisclosed location on the mountain we were on. A large blizzard erupted, and we went into the cave, which got covered in trees. Kristal has a broken arm that was bleeding severely, Ozymandias has a few broken ribs, and the other two are fine.
Also, Kyle has made a deal with Darkrai. What that deal is, no one knows... no one, except me, that is...))

Lucas gave up and started walking. " Roy, let's go home and get some sleep."
" Right," Roy replied, walking beside him.
"Now you know. But hey, your lucky you got a brother looking out for ya. All I got is Trigger, and him only." Spike noticed he had tears. He quickly wiped them away.
"I'm sorry. So what were you doing in the forest? Looking for somebody?"
"Forest?" Kristal asked. She then remembered the place where there were trees in the mountains. "Yeah, we were looking for a Riolu's father."

Trigger came back with some oran berries.
"I found these in the dungeon, and also this." Trigger dropped a bag filled with contents. 15 Silver spikes, 10 gravelrocks, and two discs that were colored one red, and one green.
"TMs......." Spike said softly.
"One's Grass Knot and the other is Fire Punch." Trigger added.
"Well, do you guys want to learn them? I don't know about if I want Fire Punch and I can't learn Grass Knot." Spike commented.
"Hmm..." Kristal looked down at the two technical machines. I know I'll be able to learn Grass Knot, but I'm not sure if I want that move so much... Fire Punch would definitely help, but it might work in Ozzy's favor better...
Ozymandias examined the TMs as best as he could from his reclining position. I'm pretty sure I can learn both of those attacks, but I don't particularly want Grass Knot. Fire Punch could prove useful, though...
Kristal turned to Trigger, and pointed at Grass Knot. "May I?"
"Sure." Trigger stepped back.
"Hey guys, there's something else in here, in one of the sidepacks." Spike pulled out a slip of paper, he opened it up and out dropped a small opal, and on the other side of the paper was a full written letter in black ink.
"What does it say Spike?" Trigger leaned in.
Dear Whoever Finds This,
I don't have much time, I'm writing this as me and a few others are holding off against a monster, we are trying to preserve and protect this sacred gem. This gem contains potential power to destroy Darkrai, and whoever wields it will transform into a powerful being far greater than Darkrai himself. According to legend, this being is known as Arceus, creator of life. It says that even he can match Darkrai's powers and during an ancient battle 5,000 years ago, he locked him away in a prison in another dimension. Now, he is free, and we have escaped from his grasp. Please whoever finds this gem, give it to Lucario, the only one known that can tame the power of Arceus.
It stopped there.
"What was that about?" wondered Ozymandias out loud. "Anyway, can I see that Fire Punch TM?"
"Yeah." Trigger tossed it towards Ozzy.
Spike was still staring at the letter.
Ozymandias caught the disc and examined it. "How do we use these things?"
"I think it says on the back." Trigger suggested.
"Will you quit staring at the letter Spike? Your giving me the creeps." Spike snapped out of it.
Ozymandias flipped the disc over and read. "'Fire Punch.' Yeah, that's real useful. Just tells me what it is."
Trigger snatched it away and snorted.
"They makes these things so darn easy to read in small text." Trigger gave it back to Ozzy and pointed at the small text that read.
Say the move that you want to learn and everything else will do it's job.
"Oh," said Ozzy sheepishly. "Fire Punch... Now what?"

"What the--" he started, but was interrupted as the light zoomed at him. It flashed and faded, and he stared at his hand, which was now on fire.
"Freaky," he commented.

Kristal picked up the Grass Knot TM and put it in her bag. Never know when I could use this...
"Well..." Spike finally spoke, "It's a good thing that your looking for Lucario."
Spike said this to hide the boiling anger inside him,
What does this letter know? I can tame the power of Arceus! We'll see who kills Darkrai...
"Well, it's my turn to watch." Spike stood up and patrolled deeper in the cave.
"So Ozzy," Trigger began. "Are you a slave to Darkrai too?"
"Anyway," Kristal said, returning to the matter of the letter, "I believe that letter is pure lies. A tale to scare anyone who would come in here. As for the gem, it might give you power, but it sure as hell won't turn you INTO Arceus. He's the Lord of all Pokemon! He exists right now. At least, that's what I believe... do you believe any differently?"
"I would normally believe that this is just a practical joke. But, it's way too much of a coincidence to be fake." Trigger looked it over, trying to find more clues.
"So, how did that happen to you?" Trigger pointed at Kristal's cast that Spike made, which meant he was talking about her arm.
Kristal scoffed. "You just contradicted yourself, you know." She said to Spike. She then turned to Trigger. "I... don't really remember. I think a tree hit it. I know it's broken."
Spike chuckled in the distance.
"Your welcome Kristal!" Spike joked.
"Spike spike spike...." Trigger got up and went to the trees that blocked them in. He could hear the storm still, but it was softer.
"Storm's loosening up, we'll be able to get out of here in a while." Trigger then grabbed his own makeshift pillow. He stretched and fell asleep.
"You better get some rest too Kristal." Spike motioned for Kristal to sleep while he went deeper into the cave.
"I'll be back, just sleep Kristal."
"Thanks for the cast," Kristal said as Spike left.
"No problem, that's what friends are for." Spike then held his club at the fire until it got a torch.
Spike journeyed into the cave, deeper then he was supposed to.

((OMG... HELL YES, THAT IS GODMODDING!!! I never said she fell asleep. The character of Kristal is in my complete control, and you made her fall asleep. So, yes, that would classify as Godmodding. Big time.))
Spike turned around to make sure everyone was ok, before he headed out. He came across a few Zubats, which he knocked out easily. The deeper he went, the harder it was to stay away from wild pokemon. Soon, he began to hear low growls.
I'm getting closer...

Spike heard more lowly growling noises, and they were getting closer.
I think I found it!
Just then, a machop from the cave, tackled Spike from behind, and threw him across the ground.
"OWWWW!" Spike was scraped across his whole knee. The Machop then ran in to attack more.
"Rollout!" Spike charged the Machop in his ball form, and sent him flying into the wall. The machop crumbled to the floor and was knocked out.
"That'll teach you to not mess with us boneheads."
Spike walked on and then heard the growling noise, louder than anything he had ever heard.
"Show yourself! Come on out! I challenge you!"
Then, an eye, another eye, and a wicked smile could be seen. The figure stepped out in the illuminating area from Spike's torch. Spike then felt scared as hell and wanted to run away, and it wasn't because of what the monster looked like, but the monster's prescence.
"Sp-sp-sp-spiritomb!"
"Hey!" Kristal shouted at the now gone Spike. "You can't tell me what I can and can't do!" She sighed as she tried to get up, but realized that her left leg was still numb. Huh... it'll take me the night for it to heal. In the meantime... Kristal broke off a branch from one of the trees blocking the entrance, and began to use her leaves to carve it into a cane of sorts. After she had finished, she fell asleep, wanting some shut eye.
Spike was running as far away as he could, away from the awakened Spiritomb. He started shouting,
"GUYS! OZZY, TRIGGER, KRISTAL! WE GOTTA GO, NOW!"

Trigger stirred from his nap and yawned. He woke up and began to hear Spike shouting like heck.
What did he do now....
"Spike? What's going on?"
"SPIRITOMB! SPIRITOMB!" Spike came into view after a while, looking pale and scared as hell.
"Spike? What happe-"
"I DON'T CARE IF THE STORM IS STILL GOING! WE'RE GETTING OUT OF HERE NOW!" Spike started busting the tree barricade with his bone club.
"Trigger, wake everyone up. After that, help me bust this open. You think you can take both on horseback?"
"Maybe, but make me a saddle at least. It will make it more comfortable."
Ozymandias woke up groggily and tried to get up, but the pain would not let him.
"Ozzy, get up. We got to go now." Trigger nudged him to get up.
"Trigger, here." Spike handed him a wooden saddle and slipped it on his back.
"Kristal, we have to leave." Trigger used Flame Wheel on the tree barricade and burned it.
"We got to go now."
Ozymandias moaned and tried to get up again. He managed to get to Trigger and flop onto the saddle and groaned again.
Kristal sat on top of a hill overlooking the ocean, her legs dangling over the side of it. "Kristal, over here!" She heard a voice that she knew could only belong to her brother. She got up, and turned around. But when she saw her brother, she was stunned.
"What the...?!" Instantly, she could feel the ground beneath her feet moving, and it gave way. The next thing she knew was that she was tumbling underwater, slowly slipping away...
"Gah!" She woke up with a startled gasp. She rubbed her eyes, and looked down. It was just a dream... but what...? She turned to see everyone moving around. "What's up?"
"Spike had to be a jackass and wake up Spiritomb." Trigger replied, trying to burn the trees.
"Come on Kristal, I'll help." Spike helped Kristal up and walked her over to Trigger.
"Get on, we're going to get out of here, like it or not." Spike bashed the trees with his bone club until there was a huge hole in the middle.
Then, a rumbling growl roared throughout the cave.
"ROOARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"
Spike became panicked and jumped out of the hole.
"Come on guys!"
"A Spiritomb?" Kristal thought out loud, simutaneously grabbing her stick and pulling out her flute. "You know what they say; 'Music calms the ravage beast.'" With that, she began to play.
The Spiritomb just got more mad and sounded to be coming to their location faster.
"The only thing that's gonna calm, is that the fact he won't be walking anymore! Now get on!" Trigger motioned for her to get on once more. Spike shouted,
"Hey guys! The storm's over! Let's go while we can!" Spike started heaving boulders into the hole to block out spiritomb.
Kristal took the flute from her lips, and put it in her bag. She then looked over at Spike and Trigger. "You guys go ahead. I'll catch up later. And besides, I'll only slow you down."
"Oh no Kristal, we're all leaving together, no man or woman left behind on this." Spike helped Kristal walk to Trigger.
"Don't worry Kristal, I've carried tons before, and that was years ago. You'll be no weight on me. Promise." Trigger assured.
The roaring could be heard louder and the barricade seemed to be wearing off as pieces of tree bark were falling off.
"Hurry!"
"Will you cut the sappy 'no man gets left behind' speech so we can go?! We are on a tight schedule here," said Ozymandias.
Kristal sighed, then hopped up onto Trigger's back. "I hope you're right. Now let's go!"
Trigger galloped across the fields with ease, passing trees and boulders. Spike headed on foot, to make sure Spiritomb wouldn't follow them. When he was at least 35 ft. away, he used Dig to make a giant hole and when he was done, he covered the hole with lot's of leaves, sticks and branches. When it looked like ground, he cleaned up with his tail to add the finishing touches. He could see a ghostly aura approaching at high speed.
"Better get out of here." Spike curled up into Rollout and raced across the plains.
Kristal watched as Spike came back in his Rollout form. She sighed. "You do know Spiritomb is a Ghost, right!?" She shouted to him.
"Well it'll hold him off for a little while, besides, the important thing is getting you and Ozzy out of here." Spike guided Trigger through the mountains until they came to a trail. They went down the trail and soon Spike could see the familiar settings of Makuhita's Dojo.
"Well, we made it." Spike said triumphantly.
Spike could hear the angry roar again.
I'll never make that mistake again...
"Obviously," Kristal called out to Spike, suddenly becoming weak again, "Ghost Pokemon are tangible and can levitate. Of course that trap wouldn't have worked!" She sighed, and suddenly her vision became blurred.
"Kristal? You ok?" Spike walked over to help her. Trigger yawned and leaned down so Kristal and Ozzy could get off.

Kristal tried to get off of Trigger, but she forgot that her left leg was bad. As soon as she got off, she fell down. Embarrassed, she quickly grabbed her makeshift cane and stood up. "I'm... I'm fine."
"Will you quit lying?!" Spike said with a chuckle. Spike walked with Kristal.
"You guys need a place to rest? Or do you have places?"
"I have a place," Kristal said, leaning against her stick.
"Alright, good. You fine on your own?"
"I think I'll be good," Kristal replied, and she began to walk to her base. "Thanks for helping!" She called back.

As Spike waved goodbye, Trigger nudged him and said with a sarcastic look.
"You got a thing for her don't ya Spike?"
"Don't be such a smartass Trigger!" Spike did actually have a feeling for her, it just seemed that he should do whatever it takes to make sure she's safe.
What is this feeling...
After a while, Kristal finally arrived back at the base. Home sweet home... She thought as she opened the door. She wasn't used to be alone, especially at night. Kyle... She clutched her necklace as if it were Kyle himself. ...you're right. I need to become stronger. Maybe this entire experience will let that happen. I just hope we can be together again sometime soon. She proceeded to her bedroom, and fell asleep. The moon was still high in the sky.
"Hey Spike, mind if I stay over at your place tonight? The next few days I have a break and I don't want to walk all they way here to my place."
"That's fine, but no eating at midnight! Last time I couldn't find the peanut butter but then saw it in the toilet, half gone."
Trigger chuckled, and they headed home.
When they got there, Spike plopped on his bed and Trigger headed over to the bale of hay, but stopped at the CDs. When Spike wasn't looking, Trigger found one that had the cover, "Hot Fuss" and put the CD in the machine. He pressed buttons until a song began to play with soft music and words began to say,

Already halfway and Spike tackled Trigger.
"STOP IT! IF THIS IS JUST TRYING TO BUG ME ABOUT KRISTAL, THEN YOUR DEAD!"
"Not exactly, just trying to see if your jealous."
"Of who? She's not with anybody!"
"Ozzy!"
Spike socked Trigger in the face and Trigger got a big round bruise on his cheek.
"Owww...."
"Will you shut up now?"
And she's taking a drag

Kristal began to sleep, and when she closed her eyes, a white owl appeared in front of her. She gasped, for she had never recalled seeing a creature like that before. She heard a woman's voice, and tried to find out where it came from.
San Merida... to San Merida...
San Merida? Where is that?
A cry that echoes through the years

Kristal looked in every direction, but all she could see was darkness. She could have sworn she had heard that voice before. But where?
Instantly, she woke back up. She gasped for air, and looked around her room. It was exactly like it was before she fell asleep. She sighed, and tried to fall back asleep. San Merida...
((Just something to make this story more interesting.))
After an hour later, Trigger was snoozing on the bed of hay, while Spike tossed and turned in his bed. Voices spoke to him.
Protect her...
Go to the sacred place...
Lake Desire...
That is where you'll find your answers...
Go now...
Take her with you...
You shall break the seal...
The curse shall be lifted....
"Get out of my head!"

Spike abruptly woke up from his sleep. He turned to see if he woke up Trigger. Trigger just yawned and ate some of the nearby hay.
Spike got out of bed and walked outside. He lay down and looked up at the moon. It was shining luminously and filled Spike with a sense of relaxation.
"I miss you dad....what do I do?.....I need your help..."

Then, as if it was answering Spike, a face of a deep eyed Marowak appeared in the midst of the clouds.
"Father?! Is that you?!" Spike asked.
"Yes, Spike, it's so good to see you, look how much you've grown.."
"Why couldn't you talk to me before?"
"Because God only lets you talk to your relatives every 15 years, no I'm just joking. You weren't old enough to truly make that decision in your heart, but now I can see you truly wanted to see me."
"Was it your voice I heard in my dreams?"
"Yes."
"Where is Lake Desire?"
"You will know soon enough, just follow the light in your heart that guides you, and you'll find help, a solution in destroying Darkrai."
"But father....don't go..." Spike said, tears swelling up in his eyes.
"Remember, you are my son, and I know that you will be able to defeat Darkrai...goodbye son..." And with that, the marowak disappeared from the sky.
After a while, Spike finally stood up.
"Don't worry father, I'll defeat Darkrai, I promise." And with that, Spike headed home to wake up Trigger.

Kyle emerged from the portal in a dark area that seemed to be deep inside a cave. "Now what?" He called back to Darkrai.
((Wow. Haven't looked at this in a while, but from what I gather, everyone's hearing music... Now I am too lazy to actually come up with a plotline for Darkrai and Kyle... That happens a lot. What do you want him to do?))

Orion leaped out of the way of an oncoming boulder. A menacing Graveler grew irritated. Orion spoke "Please calm down! I did not mean to trespass on your territory!" but the Graveler would not hear any of it. "My home! Mine! Mine!" He tore another large rock from the ground and chucked it at Orion. Digging into the ground, Orion tunneled under the Graveler. Orion burst from below Graveler and knocked him off his feet. By the time Graveler got back up Orion's Shadow Ball was flying towards him. The blast was dead on. The Graveler fainted.
Orion sighed "I should leave before he gets a second wind."

Kristal began to slowly wake up. I've been having these... weird dreams lately... She got up from her bed, and looked out her window. The sun was slowly beginning to rise, so she could guess that it was about six o'clock. Is all of it for real? Or not?

"As soon as possible," said Darkrai. "But perhaps you should rest first..."

"Coming!!" Kristal walked down the stairs and prepared to answer the door when she noticed something. She was walking. Her leg was completely healed. What in the world...? She looked over at her left arm. It was still healing, but it looked a lot better.

Kyle began to get his things ready for the trip to Mt. Coronet.

"It definitely helped," Kristal said to Spike. "Thanks. So, what do you want this early in the morning?" She asked, yawning. "It has to be urgent if you came this early."

Kyle walked through the portal, waiting for Darkrai to follow.
Darkrai went through the portal to Spear Pillar.

"No time to explain, it just has to do with defeating Darkrai. Finding the answer to that problem. Come on, get all the things you need, cause we are going on a big journey. We're going to probably have to bring somebody else as well."
"Man Spike, your very serious about this aren't ya?" Trigger said.
"Yes Trigger, at least that's what my father told me."
"Your father? Oh, now I get it." He's going nuts, that's what happened...
"Wait a minute," Kristal started. "You're telling me you know where to go to find out how to defeat Darkrai? How? I thought your father was dead."
Having finally escaped the forset Orion started wandering. He began thinking.
'The darkness has strengthened it's influence. More and more pokemon are becoming violent. I must find the cubone from my dreams. I have to hurry!'
He began frantically running around looking for Spike, although he did not know his name nor where he lived.
Orion felt confused as he walked around the town and yelled out "How am I supposed to find this guy when I don't even know where he lives or his name! I really wish prophetic visions came with roadmaps or at least an adress!"

Orion continued walking about town aimlessly.
Orion looked around at the various street signs and groaned "Man..how I am supposed to find a Cubone around here?" he scratched his head in frustration. Orion then stood up straight and smiled "Time for the direct approach!".
With speed and claws Orion scaled the tallest building nearby, drew in his breath as deep as he could and roared out that echoed across the town "DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A CUBONE?"

"He appeared to me. Now get your things." Just then, a shout was heard, and he thought he could hear somebody saying, 'I'm looking for a cubone.'

He breathed in for another roar "CUBONE! A CUBONE TO HELP FIGHT THE DARKNESS!"
He held his ear in the air hoping to hear something.
Kristal hesitated for a moment. "If we're to bring someone else to help, I'd say either Ozzy or Lucas. Preferrably Ozzy, seeing as he could prove as a great help, and he's being followed by Darkrai, too. Lucas and his dad could stay and protect things here."

Orion was unphased but in his mind he was unsettled 'I was able to detect her but she was never that fast before...I didn't even see her climb up the building'
Orion scanned the horizon "What do you want?" Artemis replied "It's not about what I want-" Orion cut her off "That will be the day." She continued "It's about my master. And frankly I don't think this little quest of yours is ...healthy." Orion paused "Do you intend to stop me?" Artemis grunted "All I'm saying is this 'destiny' of yours isn't worth dying over. Think about it."
Artemis leaped off the building and disappeared down the streets. Orion bellowed out once more "C'MON! I NEED TO FIND A CUBONE!"
"I think it is a good thing Spike and Trigger got help," commented Ozzy. "Otherwise, they would be dead by now. Lets go to the station, then."
((What's really weird is Orion used to be a petty thief before he met his master. He would act like a beggar to aid in his 'liberation' of people's material possessions.))
Orion began strolling down the street and glancing down at the map every now and then.
" Yeah," Lucas replied," let's go."
" I really hope Spike knows where Darkrai is." he murmured as he started walking.

"Alright Trigger, lead the way!" Trigger trotted towards the train station as Spike followed.
Kristal followed. As she walked, she looked over at the tracks that the trains ran on. A train passed her, and suddenly, she felt a shock of remembrance. However, as soon as it had came, it had left, and so did the train. She could only stand there, dumbfounded. What was that...?
Ozzy followed and saw Kristal.
"Something wrong?" he asked.
Kristal broke out of her thoughts, and turned to Ozzy. "Oh... nothing. Let's keep going." She began walking again. "We'll need to figure out when the next train leaves. I'll pay for the trip, seeing as I have the most money here. And don't worry; it's my treat. I really want to find out what happened to Kyle. Maybe going to Lake Desire will help with that."
Ozzy followed. Kristal's words about Kyle made him think.
He sided with Darkrai because of a promise. That promise seems to involve Kristal staying safe. Of course, there's no guarantee that that's what it's about in the first place. And what could Darkrai be planning? So many questions with answers that raise even more questions...
"Lemme guess," Kristal said, turning to Ozzy, "you want to find out how to defeat Darkrai because you want to become free of whatever contract or spell he has under you. Am I right, or at least close?"
"Well, close, at least," said Ozzy. He looked away, at the passing trains. "I was never under any spell or contract. My family and friends were gone, and I was angry at the world. I suppose Darkrai just took advantage of that."
"Oh..." Kristal said, understanding. "...I never actually knew my family. Only Kyle. In fact, I don't remember much about my life at all. Everything I knew about my life came from Kyle."
"You're lucky you had him," said Ozzy, frowning a bit.
Kristal smiled, trying to cheer Ozymandias up. "Hey, well at least you have friends now. I mean, don't we count as friends?"
"Yes, you do, I suppose," said Ozymandias, smiling. "There are some things in life you can't go through with someone without becoming friends. One of those would probably be being attacked by evil entities bent on world domination."
"So that's what he's after, huh?" Kristal asked, chuckling a bit. "Couldn't a mastermind like Darkrai be a little more original?"
Ozzy chuckled as well. "Well, I'd expect that if he wanted anything more original, and we'd all be in serious trouble. I'd rather have him ruling the world than say... destroying the world using the power of an unwilling Arceus."
Kristal looked at Ozzy quizzically, and then smirked. "That's a little bit specific, wouldn't you say?"
"Well, I am apparently alot more creative than Darkrai," said Ozzy. "But I'm not sure what Darkrai wants. He never told his lackeys anything."
Kristal sighed. "Well, I guess we'll learn in time."
"We will just have to hope we learn before it is too late to stop him," said Ozzy.
"Yeah, we have to stay optimistic," Kristal said. They approached the station, and Kristal walked up to a booth. A Golem waited in the booth, and looked at the newcomers. Kristal made a quick headcount, and then turned to the Golem. "Five ((Is Orion still with us, or not? If he is, then I'll edit it.)) tickets for Train Four en route to Rendar, please."
The Golem pressed a few buttons on the register, and then said, in a gruff voice, "That's 1600 Poke per passenger, so your total comes to 8000 Poke." Kristal handed over the necessary money, and received five slips of paper in exchange. "Your train arrives in half an hour at Station 2, and then departs another half hour later, so you might want to start waiting there."
"Thanks for the tip," Kristal said, smiling, and handing him another hundred Poke. "Come on," she said to the others, walking to Station 2.
"Thanks for paying the tickets Kristal!" Trigger said joyfully.

Spike felt some connection when Kristal and Ozzy talked about their past.
"I don't know if I told you before, but the only one I had was Trigger, so Ozzy, I know how you feel, if I didn't know anybody, not even Trigger, I would team up with Darkrai as well, so don't feel bad about yourself. And Kristal, I don't know where Kyle is, but your lucky to have a brother that cares for you deeply." Spike said the last words, thinking at the same time,
And I care about you too...
"Of course, we all have our special someone or friend in life," Kristal said, turning to Spike. "You have Trigger, and I have Kyle." She then turned to Ozzy. "And don't worry; you'll find that person, too. It's different for everyone."
"Maybe Ozzy can date that cute Torchic lass back in Town Square that I saw the other day, I think her name was 'Lisa' or something like that." Spike joked.
"Unlike you, I actually find love to be a delicate and dangerous thing," Kristal said, turning back to Spike. "You have to be careful when you are trying to choose your life partner. You also have to take into consideration how the other person feels, and if they love you back. That's why I'm taking my time."
"Hey I never said love was just a fun thing that you have to do when your a teenager, I believe that dating is the process of finding things that you have in common with the person you are dating, and who knows? Maybe she's/he's the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Me, well....nobody's really popped to me yet."
"Actually, Spike does think-" Spike glared at Trigger, which Trigger glanced back with a mischievous look, and Spike instantly knew what Trigger was going to do.
"Trigger, I swear, if you let one word slip...your grandchildren will feel the pain your about to suffer now." Trigger didn't stop and blurted out.
"SPIKE THINKS THAT YOU AND OZZY SHOULD BE TOGETHER!" Spike was about to tackle him when he realized Trigger hadn't mentioned the other thing. Spike could be in serious trouble now, either get on Kristal's and Ozzy's bad side and keep it, or tell Kristal the truth, and deal with the consequences.
I hate you so much Trigger...
Kristal only stared at Spike and Trigger. "And you know this... how? I mean, come on! We've only known each other for a day. You think people fall in love in one day? Life isn't a fairy tale." She sighed, and then became lost in thought. Well... sure, I like him. I mean, we're on this mission together, so everyone should get along with everyone else... but then again, our destinies are now intertwined with this task... but isn't everyone's? Gah, this is so confusing... She sat down on a bench at Station 2 and continued to think.
Ffeww.... Spike wiped the sweat off his eyebrow, relieved she didn't get mad. He glared at Trigger and explained to Kristal.
"Ok, I thought Trigger was going to say something else, he's been bugging me about how I might have a crush on you. I tried to ignore him and I tried to keep him away saying, 'Maybe I do, maybe I don't.' That which resulted in disaster, made me have to tackle him so many times....LIKE NOW!" Spike pounced on Trigger.
Lucas had been staying away. " Love is too complicated," he piped up," if you don't make the right choice, you're stuck with that person."
"Exactly what I mean." Spike said, relieved that the conversation had strayed from his attention. After a couple of minutes, the train arrived. A meowth in a conductor suit stepped down and said,
"Tickets please."
"She has them, Kristal, give him the tickets."
Kristal ignored Spike and Trigger's ruffhousing, but still thought about what Spike had said. Now that's interesting... he barely even knows me, too! How could he already have fallen in love? Well, he did say it was just a crush... and that brings us back to Ozzy. She looked at the Chimchar for a brief moment. How does he feel about this situation?
She saw the train coming, and then stood up, when she looked at the floor in front of her. There was a straw hat on the ground. She bent down, and then placed it in her bag. It's probably sunny there. When she got back up and looked at the train, she felt another rush of remembrance. However, just as before, it was gone in a second. She shook it off, and continued walking.
She walked over to the conductor, and handed him the tickets. When she walked on the train, she noticed that there were booths across the train where you could sit down, and they all sat at least six people. She walked into one of the booths, sat down, and looked out the window, waiting for the others to come inside.
Ozzy remained silent throughout the previous exchange. Spike... knows nothing about love... Right?
Kristal turned to the entrance of the booth. "Are you guys coming in, or what?"
Ozzy looked at her briefly and walked in.
((I'm starting to feel like a calvin and hobbes comic character. Spike is calvin*in a way* and trigger is the obnoxious smartass hobbes*which totally pwns*))
Spike and Trigger followed inside. Trigger now had a bruise and the whole way, for even 10 minutes, not one peep of annoyance was said.
Spike thought that his method had worked, by telling the truth, Trigger stopped bugging him.
Now that's ironic...
Spike motioned Lucas for to get on.
Lucas got on.

Spike felt a sudden jerk from the floor and fell down. Then, a smoke billowing sound could be heard, the train was about to leave.
"All aboard for Rendar, last calls!" The meowth shouted through a big megaphone. Trigger ignored the situation and said,
"Wake me up when we get there." Trigger stretched across a booth and fell asleep. Spike got up, embarrased and wiped the dust of himself.
((Wrongo. The train isn't en route to Lake Desire. As I had stated earlier, the train would make its last stop about a hundred and fifty miles away from Lake Desire, in the city of Rendar. And by the way, it should be about noon right now. Didn't we wake up about seven pages ago?))

"It's about noon, so we should arrive around early evening."
Kristal noticed that each booth had their own room, as well. The edges were closed in, so this could work to their advantage. They could talk about Darkrai's plans without anyone eavesdropping. All of a sudden, a large horn sound emenated from the front of the train, and it made a small jerk. They were beginning to move. And another rush of remembrance came, only this one was stronger than before.
Another world?
Yeah right!

She could see everything in the booth, but she couldn't see who was talking. Get out of my head!!

Kristal knew that her eyes were shining blue, because whenever something like this happened, her eyes would glow. Those voices... so familiar!

Ozzy was nodding off into sleep when he noticed Kristal's eyes glowing blue.
"Uh... Kristal? Something wrong?"
She turned to Ozzy, and the glowing stopped. The voices began to fade away, and she relaxed. "Nope. It happens whenever these voices continiously come into my head. I'm not crazy or anything; I actually have a feeling that they have some connection with my forgotten past. They're voices are so familiar... but who could they be?" She sighed. "Oh well, can't let that get in our way."
"Hey, out of curiosity, what do you guys want to be when you grow up completely?" She asked, trying to change the topic.
Lucas, half-asleep, joined in. " A world-renowned rescuer," he replied," just like my dad."
"H'm. Interesting question. I haven't really thought about that. I suppose I could become a rescuer," mused Ozzy.
"A rescuer, most likely," Kristal said, answering her own question. "Strangely enough, Kyle wanted to be a doctor. He said that he wanted to protect those with severe illnesses and injuries. I wonder if he still feels that way..." She looked out the window again.
"I'm sure he still wants to help people," said Ozzy.
"Yeah, you're probably right," Kristal said, turning away from the window again. "He's probably the same." She sighed, and then began looking through her bag for something.
Lucas, still half-asleep, muttered," I wish my dad still had enough energy to come with us."

Kristal stopped looking through her bag, and turned to Lucas. "You know that - even if he did have enough energy - it would be best for him to stay and protect the town."

" True," Lucas replied," very true."
" I wonder how much Poke we have."
((Err... no? Yeah, no. If you had read my post, I said that the stop was about four hundred and fifty miles away from the station. Therefore, it would be nearly impossible for them to arrive so fast. They've only been on for about twenty minutes, at the most.))

Kristal looked back inside her bag again. "I still have a bit of money left, but the train tickets took about half of it. I should have taken more Poke out of the Persian bank..."
" I have about 5000 Poke," Lucas replied," and a suprise."
He got up and went to the back of the room.
" I wonder what it will be like facing Darkrai. What if....this journey won't end " he thought.
He was silent for a minute. " That'll never happen," he said, half aloud.

((Well, as of now we're in a small booth that seats six. I'm pretty sure that on a train like this, you could walk out of the booth and there would be a hallway.))
Ignoring the last mutter, Kristal looked quizzically at Lucas. "What kind of surprise...?"
" Just something my dad found," Lucas said with a smirk.
He grabbed something out of his bag. The TM for Giga Impact.
"A Technical Machine?" Kristal asked.
" Not just any TM," Lucas replied. He motioned to her and whispered to her," promise not to tell?"
Kristal nodded. ...Must be important... a powerful move, perhaps? Or could it be something of even more value?
" Giga Impact," Lucas whispered to her.

Kristal grinned, and whispered back to Lucas. "Take good care of it, then."
" I will," Lucas replied," I will."
He sat back down.
Spike smiled as Trigger snored loudly.
He's just trying to act like a brother...
He took out his pack and pulled out a few sitrus berries.
"Anyone? I thought we could use a snack." Spike said, holding up the yellow berries.
"Sure, thanks," Kristal said, taking one of the berries. "We'll need to keep our strength up if we want to complete this journey. Who knows when it will end?"
" Yeah," Lucas replied," but let's not eat them all."

((Probably in a few hours, since it's about a four-hundred mile trip, and trains don't go extremely fast... try three and a half hours, give or take.))
Kristal nodded, and began to eat the berry.

Lucas ate half of the berry, then stopped.

Kristal was about to take another bite, but stopped as well, looking at Lucas. "What? Something wrong?"

Spike chuckled, but stopped when he made a discovery.
"Hey...is this anybody's?" Spike asked, holding up a leaf charm that was engraved with the letters, 'D.A.'
"Cool! I call dibs on the iPod Touch with it!" Spike exclaimed after he pulled out a shiny device that had a piece of tape that read 'L.A.'
((I thought Lucas and I were having a discussion... you could have just joined in. XD))
"Where'd you find that?" Kristal asked.
"Under this table, right in this-" Spike cut off when his hand ran into the wall. Spike was confused.
I swear there was a hole just right there...
"Hmm....that's odd. Hey look, they have Punk'd Episodes on here, you know, the Aipom that goes around playing pranks on people?"
Kristal sighed. "Forget I ever said anything," she said, looking back out the window.

" Teenagers," Lucas replied," crazy teenagers."
Ozzy was watching the conversation silently while eating his berry. However, when Spike found his new toy, he began thinking. Why was that thing just sitting there for anyone to find? Those are expensive. Someone wouldn't just leave it or forget about it unless they were incredibly rich... And who did it belong too? Maybe they didn't actually forget, and actually left it on purpose as part of a plot. Or maybe I'm just thinking too hard. Yeah. That's probably it.
"Aren't you one of them yourself?" Kristal asked, smiling at Lucas. She took another bite of her berry.
Lucas glanced at her. " Aren't you one, too?"

"Sorry Kristal, but I swear it was just under this table, and in this hole...which isn't there anymore." Spike put down the iPod and walked towards the window.
"We're getting close, I can feel it."
Hang on dad, I promise I will destroy Darkrai...nobody else...
"Of course we're getting closer," Kristal said, finishing her berry. "After we stop, we'll only be a hundred and fifty miles away from Lake Desire. That's about a four and half day trip, so we should stock up on supplies once we get to Rendar."
"Alright, and then after-" WHAM! A rocking jolt sent Spike to the ground and into the wall.
"........Ow.......what in the world was that?" Spike said rubbing his head.
Kristal remained calm, but noticed that the movement within the train had ceased. "We've stopped... I wonder why?" She peaked her head out of the booth, and noticed that other Pokemon in their booths were looking out and were wondering the same thing. "What is going on?" She asked to herself.
" Hmmmm..." Lucas replied," now would be a good time to try out my aura."
(( Because riolu is basically Lucario and lucario in SSBB finds snake's aura.))

"Don't wear yourself out," Kristal advised, returning fully into the booth-cabin area.
" Is there anyone in front of us?" Lucas went on," because I wonder what is going on."

Ozzy remained seated. "Maybe the train is suffering from technical difficulties?"

"Either that, or the train is being attacked," muttered Ozzy. "If so, I really hope it's the first one."

Meanwhile, in Pokemon Square, Fugue was silently watching Roy from above. That Pupitar was there when they attacked Darkrai, he thought. He was very useful for those nuisances. Perhaps it would be best to eliminate him now, while he's alone. Yes, that could work.
He swooped down towards Roy and fired Toxic down on him.
"Perhaps," Kristal replied to Ozzy. "It would be best to just go out and check."

Kyle emerged from the portal out of a pointed rock. He looked around, and saw that there were a few steps leading up to the top of Mt. Coronet. "Well, we've arrived."
"Yeah," replied Ozzy. "That's probably the best thing to do. If we are being attacked, we can defend ourselves better outside than in here, where it's rather small."

"Yes," said Darkrai, emerging behind Kyle. "Mt. Coronet, the home of the Spear Pillar, and the only known area where Dialga and Palkia have emerged."
He went up the steps up to a flat summit. Pillars, or their remains, were around a stone path, leading to a slightly elevated platform.
"Then let's go," Kristal stated, walking back out of the booth.

Kyle followed quietly. "We have to be careful. If we disturb them too much, we could be way in over our heads. No offense, for your power is great; but what if Arceus found out about this?"
"Okay," replied Ozzy, following her out.

"I hardly think Dialga and Palkia will bother to come now," replied Darkrai. "To summon them would require the two Orbs, which we shall need to find. As for Arceus, we will be in great danger if he were to find us here."
((I couldn't remember the names of the two things that Dialga and Palkia come with. Adamant Orb and something else.))

Kristal walked slowly throughout the train car. "Well, there's nothing here."

Kyle nodded, and continued walking.
Ozzy continued following her warily. "Maybe nothing's happening at all, and it really is just a problem with the train," he said hopefully.

Darkrai came to a plaque of sorts. Writing was on it, but time and the elements had ravaged it. He inspected it. Several words had been destroyed, but he was able to decipher the meaning after a moment.
"It seems to be a warning," he muttered. "It reads something like 'Disturb not the harmony of Time and Space, lest the rulers of these forcer reap destruction on the world.' Likely just an old legend used to scare off unwanted visitors."
He turned away from the plaque and began looking around. "I am certain that at least one of the artifacts, the Adamant Orb, was here at some points. I can still sense some great energy around this place, but whether it is merely residual power from the orb, the remnants from Dialga and Palkia's last appearance, or the Orb itself, I cannot ascertain."
At this point, he was talking more to himself than to anyone else.
"If the legend is true, then the Lustrous Orb must be in another location," Kyle stated, walking up to Darkrai. "The only problem is, where would it be?"
Lucas slept through it all. " Uhhh...." he groaned, waking up," I feel sick."

Roy was hit, but barely. " Hey," he yelled," why did you do that!?"
"Yes," replied Darkrai. "And if the Adamant Orb is no longer here, than someone has taken it. So both orbs are gone."
He made a portal. "We must track down the orbs for the plan to come to fruition."
He was about to step through when something glinted in the corner of his eye. he paused and looked around, and he noticed a small blue crystal sticking out slightly out of the ground, partially submerged in the rock somehow. He drifted over and tried to pull it out. It would not budge, so he attempted a Psychic to try to lift it out. However, that proved unsuccessful.
"Hm," he muttered. "Though I can't be completely certain, I would say this is the Adamant Orb, or at least a shard. Somehow, it has been submerged into the earth. It seems impossible to pull it out. However, there is also a good chance that this is one Arceus's plates, hidden in a similar manner. But if it were to be the Orb, then we needn't pull it out. Bringing the Lustrous Orb would be enough to summon Palkia, and then we could get the other. But if this is one of the Plates, then Arceus will find out that we are here soon enough. Come, we must find the Lustrous Orb."
With that, he created a portal and stepped through.

"Because," replied Fugue. "You are a threat to my master's plan. You helped those pathetic nuisances on the mountain, and now, you will be eliminated before you can help them again! Steel Wing!"
At those last words, his right wing began to glow, and he swooped down at Roy and slashed it at him.
Or maybe he's just overthinking things... Kyle thought while stepping into the portal after Darkrai.

Kristal walked into the next car, but nothing suspicious was there either. Just ahead was the front of the train. "Maybe something's going on in there," Kristal thought out loud. She turned around to Ozymandias. "What do you think we should do?"
((Kyle should be glad Darkrai can't read minds... Or can he? >:D))
Darkrai's portal opened up into... wherever they were before they went to the Spear Pillar.

"Well, if something bad is in there, we could probably get away quickly. If nothing's wrong, then we'll be completely safe either way. I say we go."
"Listen, we can't just run away, but we can't let our guard down either. Why don't we split up, and investigate the train. Maybe it's a technical difficulty, an attack, or the driver is drunk." Spike said sarcastically on the last part. Spike stepped out of his compartment and headed down to the back of the train.
If it's an attack, I hope they don't board the train...

Kristal opened the door to the front of the train, and in the room was... nothing. Not a trace of the person driving the train, or any assailant. The window was open, though. She peeked out of it, but there was nothing there, either. Strange... It was then that she felt something trickle on her shoulder. She looked, thinking that there could be a leak, but she was wrong.
It was blood.
((He was talking to Lucas, and called out sort of. Lol on the picture comment))
Spike felt more disturbed as he walked farther back into the train, like all hope and courage inside was fading away, being replaced by fear and cowardness. Spike sensed that either something bad was back there, or someone was trying to prevent him from heading down there. Spike took the second answer and struggled to not chicken out as he walked slowly, as if a wind was pushing him back. He stopped for a moment and wondered if Ozzy and Kristal were feeling alright.
They're fine, they have each other, I guess maybe I should leave them alone for a while, WAIT! WHAT AM I THINKING?! I'M NOT EVEN SURE IF OZZY LIKES HER AT ALL! Why am I thinking this way? God, I'm starting to sound like Trigger................
Spike realized that he doesn't even think like this, he never, something was wrong.
This force we're dealing with is much more stronger that I thought, it's trying to make me worry about my friends, obviously it's trying to send me back. I must go on...
Spike finally reached the end of the compartment part of the middle train and opened the door. The train still wasn't moving, so with no caution, Spike jumped to the next compartment and opened the door.
"What the-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Trigger was snoring, when Spike's scream woke him up.
"Spike? SPIKE!" Trigger burst out of his booth room and galloped down the hallway, unfazed by the affects.
"Hang on Spike, I'm coming!"
Lucas got up. " Why are .sniffle. you shouting Spike," he said, even though no one heard him.
He got up and realized no one was in the compartment with him.
" .sniffle. Kristal, Ozzy, Spike," he yelled," where are you guys!?"

Trigger didn't have time to answer and jumped through the door and landed on the compartment bridge. He crashed through the other compartment door and looked around.
"Spike? Spike where are you?" Trigger then found Spike, huddled in a corner, scared to death. He was crying, and seemed to be in a nightmare, thrashing about.
"NO DAD! PLEASE, DON'T LEAVE ME, GIVE HIM BACK! NOOOO!" Spike shouted.
"It's okay, Spike, calm down, everything's okay."
"COME BACK DAD! I NEED YOU! PLEASE DON'T GO!" Spike ignored Trigger and pushed him away, still thrashing.
"What happened to you?"
"You are about to find out, my firey friend, for your about to join him." The voice sounded devious, yet familiar.
"Sp-sp-spiritomb??" Trigger panicked.
"Spiritomb?! You mean that loaf of an excuse for a ghost? No no.....Trigger...I'm Giratina....HYPNOSIS!" The next thing Trigger knew, he was feeling drowsy as a purple ray beam emitted from a pair of yellow eyes and into his own...
Kristal remained frozen, looking at the blood trickling from above and onto her shoulder. She was too afraid to look up, too afraid to see what the blood was coming from...
When she heard Spike screaming, however, she broke out of her faze. She turned around without giving the room a second glance. She calmly brushed the blood off of her shoulder. She was back in control. "Come on, Ozzy. Let's go see what Spike's yelling about!" She began to run to the back of the train.
Ozzy stared at the blood for a moment before dashing after Kristal.
Kristal burst through a few doors, and found Spike, Trigger, and what appeared to be another Spiritomb. Or it could have been the one from earlier. She couldn't tell. "What the hell's going on?" She asked.
Ozzy followed and noticed Trigger getting hit by the Hypnosis. He went over to his side to wake him if he fell asleep.
Lucas got up. He wondered where he was. He needed to find a doctor.

((brawl is stealing everyone, and I'm getting it soon as well.))
"DAD! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME! NOOOOO!" Spike was still crying, now the floors wet from his tears, while Trigger was still as a concrete block.
"So.....you've come to join your friends eh? Well, Kristal, Ozzy, that can easily be arranged. PSYCHIC!" A beam of kinetic energy shot out from the shadows and straight towards the group.
Ozzy managed to dodge the initial beam, but the blast knocked him away. He fell to the ground, stunned. He turned around to face the enemy.
"Fire Spin!" he yelled, sending a whirling beam of fire at it.
The ghostly figure known as Giratina stumbled but regained balance. He then shot a confuse ray attack at Ozzy.
Meanwhile in Spike's dreams....
"It's time for me to say goodbye Spike..." A voice whispered.
"But why dad, you just got back!"
"I know, but Darkrai wants me to work double shift tommorow, and I can't get there in the morning, I have to go by train tonight."
"Dad...I'll miss you."
"Don't worry son...I'll be back, I promise." Spike was being held in a marowak's arms, which was his father. He kissed the top of his son's head and placed him on the ground.
"Bye son..." Then, suddenly, the scene changed, as the same marowak was now in a factory, where Darkrai was shouting orders.
"Martin! I want double time on those gears, move it! We can't capture pokemon if we keep breaking down on our stuff!" Then, a squeal of joy was heard. A baby ponyta that was about 3 ran around and broke tons of equipment, unaware of all the destruction.
"NOOOOOOO!" Darkrai was enraged, and then shouted at the marowak.
"Martin! KILL HIM!" Martin was about to with his bone club when....the image of Spike flashed in his head, and he dropped the club.
"No."
"NO?"
"No Darkrai, not this one."
"If you won't....THEN I WILL!" Darkrai flew over, bearing a shadow claw. The baby ponyta was screaming in terror and then, Martin jumped in the way.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!"
"Spike..."
"Huh...Trigger?"
"Spike, the other's are in trouble, you have to wake up." Trigger's voice whispered.
"I can't!"
"Yes you can." His father's voice then appeared.
"Dad?"
"Listen to Trigger son, Giratina is destroying the others, only together you can stop him."
"But-"
"Go Spike." A girl's voice suddenly spoke.
"....K-K-Kristal?"
"No, not kristal, but she will be killed if you don't help her and Ozzy. I know you can do it Spike, because I love you, and no matter what happens, we are always with you."
"W-we?"
"Go, I'll help you by giving you a chesto berry. Now hurry!" Spike then recieved a small blue and brown berry. He ate it and...-

"Woah....Ozzy? Kristal?"
Ozzy turned to Spike for a minute.
"Finally awake, huh?" he said. Just after he said that the Confuse Ray hit him. He stumbled around, his eyes out of focus. He collapsed to the ground, conscious but confused.
"OZZY!" Spike rushed towards Ozzy's side, unaware that it was a Confuse Ray and the danger it contained if a pokemon were hit.
"Ozzy, you alright?"
"I'm fine," replied Ozzy, getting up. "Fire Spin!"
He shot another blast, but to his surprise, his body moved involuntarily and fired at Spike.
"F***..." Spike hit directly and flew into the wall.
"Ow......dam it man!"
"What the hell?!" yelled Ozzy. "Sorry! I was aiming for Giratina!"
Suddenly, his arm twitched, and contracted into a fist. "Huh?" Fire engulfed his hand and he was dashing towards Spike. His fist flew at him, wreathed in flames.
"Sorry! I don't know what's happening!"
"Did he hit you with a confuse ray?" Spike yelled as he ducked, evading the attack.
Trigger suddenly awoke with a yawn and said,
"Spike, you woke up earlier, tell me when-WOAH!" Trigger yelped as the fist nearly came in contact with Spike.
"What the hell?!"
"I don't know!" responded Ozzy. He sat down, his eyes unfocusing again. "I guess so. When I try to attack him, I keep hitting someone else!"
"Alright then, I got an idea, keep trying to attack him with fire ranged attacks, even though it will come for me." Spike then brandished his bone club and got into position.
"Okay... Fire Spin!" said Ozzy, firing another blast. He could see what Spike was trying to do, but there was no guarantee that it would head for him. In fact, this time, the flames headed for Trigger.
"Uh-oh."
"What the-, TRIGGER! LOOK OUT!" The flames hit Trigger...and surprisingly, it didn't even faze him, in fact, it seemed to heal him then hurt him.
"Of course, Trigger is a fire type, and his ability allows him to take fire and absorb it as energy. Okay, Trigger, why don't you help Ozzy?" Trigger fired a flamethrower at Spike, which Spike hit like a baseball and sent it into the ghostly figure. Giratina cried out in pain, and was enraged.
Ozzy sighed in relief and fired another attack. This time, surprisingly, it headed straight for Giratina.
Giratina was already mad off, that it swept the fire spin away like it was a mouse. He then spewed a shadow ball and shot it towards Ozzy.
"Look out!" Trigger jumped in the way and took the blow.
"Trigger!" yelled Ozzy, going to Trigger's side. He looked at him for a moment and had an idea.
"Fire Spin," he muttered, sending a trickle of flames to Trigger to heal him.
Trigger began to heal, and got up.
"Thanks Ozzy. Now, let's send this guy back to where he came from! I have a plan."
Trigger started whispering,
"Ozzy, when I say go, shoot the largest fire spin you have ever done at me, and when I'm ready, throw Spike in front of me and from there, it'll follow."
"Okay," replied Ozzy. With that, he took a deep breath and launched a massive whirling pillar of fire at Trigger. He then went over to Spike to await Trigger's signal to throw him.

Spike kept blocking the attacks from Giratina, while Trigger fired flamethrowers at it. Giratina fired shadow balls in order to destroy the flamethrowers.

Lucas, still sick, saw the flamethrowers. He wandered towards the back of the train.
" Kristal, Spike, Ozzy," he muttered," anyone?"
Trigger's ears picked up feet movement, coming to them. If it was help, then he should call for it.
"Hey, over here!"
" Wha.." Lucas replied, walking over to them, half-asleep.
He just got to them when. " What the heck!" he yelled," a battle!?"
((Giratina hasn't shown is true form yet, so you can't possibly assume it's a Giratina.))
"Yo, Lucas, help us here!" Spike called.
(( fixed.))
" Spike?" he said," I can barely move. Uggghhhh."
After he said move, he fainted.
"Oh crap, he's still sick! Trigger, fetch my revive from our compartment and give it to him quick, before we lose!" Spike ordered, blocking the last shadow ball. Trigger nodded and galloped back into the train compartment, but the doors were shut. Trigger tried bashing it with his head. Finally, it opened. Trigger opened up Spike's pack and found the little diamond shaped revive and dashing back, unknown that the amulet with L.A. was on his hoof.

While all this was happening, Kristal had been powering up electricity in her right hand. "Perfect!" The electrcity was bright yellow, and nearly engulfing her hand. She rushed up towards the figure of Giratina, and withdrew her hand. "Thunder..." She pushed forward as fast and hard as she could. "...Punch!!!"
(( Wolf, tell Trigger to fetch me a revive, too. :D :P :())
Roy barely took the attack. " End," he replied," Rock Slide!!!"
"Dark Pulse!" said Fugue, radiating a wave of dark energy from his body, destroying the rocks. "Shadow Ball!"
He sent a ball of darkness at Roy.
" Why do you hate me!?" Roy exclamed.
He tried to dodge but tripped and fell.
" I bet you are so sad that your colleague Ozimandias joined us."
"Colleague?" smirked Fugue. "More like minor annoyance. The fewer people I'm forced to work with, the better. As to your first question, I don't. I just want to destroy anything that gets in the way of Darkrai's plot!"

" So..." Roy went on," why do you serve him anyway?"

"I serve the winning side," said Fugue. "Which is definitely not yours."
" Pssshhh...." Roy went on," winning side? Darkrai doesn't have a chance."
"Shut up," said Fugue. "You know nothing. Who do you have on your side? A couple of weaklings like you?"
" Who do you have on your side?" Roy yelled," a bigmouth excude for a legendary and
bigmouth followers!?"
"Okay, two things," said Fugue. "One: Find a better synonym for "bigmouth.' And two: You're side doesn't have much better. Lucario and Arceus are hardly legendary."
" I'm bored of talking," Roy replied," and hungry. "
" Wanna grab something to eat?"

"You're very trusting," commented Fugue.
" Are you coming?" Roy replied a few feet ahead," I'll buy."
Fugue paused to think about. It couldn't hurt. Besides, I am a little hungry.
"Yeah, I'll come," he said, walking after Roy.

Soon they got there.
" How many?" a waiter asked them.
" Two," Roy replied.
" Come with me," she added.
They were escorted to a table.
" It's weird," Roy told Fugue when they were seated," a minute ago we were fighting."
"Alot of things are weird in this twisted world," replied Fugue. "Besides, you should never pass up a meal. You never know when your next one will be, after all.
A waitress served them. " What do you want?" she asked," before you die."
" Wha.." Roy replied.
He heard a loud voice.
" Self-destuct in 60 seconds!!!"

"Uh..." said Fugue. "That's... weird."
" Come on," Roy motioned," this is a fake restaurant."
He then walked over and went out the door.

Trigger found Lucas when he got back and thankfully saw that his mouth was open. He put one end of the revive between his teeth, careful not to bite it, and placed it inside Lucas's mouth. Then, once that was settled, he ran over to Spike to help him.
Giratina laughed and merely absorbed the electric attack.
"Your eletric attacks are weak, Kristal. SHADOW BALL!" Giratina unleashed furious black ball towards the treeko.
Kristal dodged the attack, and skidded to a halt. How the hell did it absorb my attack? It's a ghost Pokemon, it shouldn't know Absorb... what could it be?
(( GRAAAW!! I iz still sick.))
" Thanks," Lucas replied.
"What the?" Spike was indeed shocked as much as Kristal was.
"Giratina's ghost....but isn't he also dragon? What could that mean?" Spike then yelped when a shadow ball hit him from the side, knocking him into Trigger.
"Oww...."
"Watch it Spike!" Trigger leaped up and did something very foolish yet brave, charge into the darkness that Giratina was surrounded in.

Spike got up just to see Trigger flying out of the dark space, and land in the middle of the floor. His right side had a gash and was bleeding severly.
"No, TRIGGER!"
((I wouldn't classify that as "foolish, yet brave"; that was just plain foolish. =P))
Kristal saw Trigger hit the floor. "Stay down!" She ordered, hoping he wouldn't be foolish enough to get injured even more. I'll try to lacerate the wound later... but I have to focus on the matter at hand. How can we overcome this...?
"I don't think we should fight this," said Ozzy. "Wouldn't it be safer to just try and get off the train?"
"If we try to run away, it will just follow us," Kristal told Ozzy.
"I guess," frowned Ozzy. "But how can we beat something our attacks can't harm?"
" Maybe," Lucas replied, still a few feet back," if it is a hologram, we should find the source."
"Well it's better than-" Spike began when a booming voice shouted,
"FOOLS! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE! AS LONG AS I'M HERE, MY SHADOWS SHALL TRAP YOU INSIDE!" Then, he stepped out. Giratina was frightening, a scaly beast with red eyes and devil wings, yellow pincers on each leg, Giratina wanted something.
"It's time to destroy you one...by...one. Starting with...you!" Giratina faced Kristal.
"Goodbye......SHADOW FORCE!" A low rumbling sound emerged as a shadow wall grew until it was so large, it could even swallow up Giratina. It charge, forming into a chaos ball of destruction and hurled towards Kristal.
A BLINDING FLASH!
As Trigger opened his eyes, he saw that Spike was in front of Kristal, falling to the ground.
"Spike?........No...no...nooooooooooooo!"
Kristal watched as Spike fell to the ground in front of her, speechless. As the lump in her throat began to move away, she managed to speak up. "Why..." She kicked at Spike's body. "You idiot! I could have just dodged the attack!!" Tears began to form in her eyes, but she quickly brushed them away. "Damn, you fool..."
Her expression turned from one of sadness to one of rage. Her eyes began to glow blue, like earlier. Both of her hands began to glow with electricity from earlier, though it looked slightly different. "Bitch!!" She yelled at Giratina. "I'll rip your heart out!!" She ran towards Giratina at a blinding speed, and shot her right hand in front of her again, going in for another Thunderpunch.
"You fool," breathed Ozzy. His response was the opposite of Kristal. At another time, he might have tried to check for Spikes pulse. But now, Giratina's presence seemed to worsen the pain. He felt a hideous and sickening despair, a melancholy weariness so profound, he felt he would die of it. "Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker? Spike, don't be dead."
Giratina was caught off guard by Kristal's attack and was knocked to the ground.
"Urg..."

"YOU SON OF A ******! I'M GOING TO TEAR YOU APART!" Trigger charged and spewed a flamethrower at Giratina, which also weakened him.
"Now...DIE!" Trigger stomped on Giratina's head....which disappeared. Then, a voice overhead in the air boomed,
"It appears your powers are more than I thought, we will meet again, but for now, I depart." Then, the shadows began to minimize until everything was fine.
"We did it! We did it Spike-" Trigger stopped and turned towards the fallen comrade.
"Oh Spike...why..."

"Did I do the right thing dad?"
"You did what your heart told you to son."
"But, am I dead?"
"Not quite, you would have been dead but the amulet was nearby and thankfully saved you. No, you'll wake up in about 4 hours."
(( That was quite the weird way to end a battle. Also I thought stomp was a Normal type and Giratina a Ghost.))
((Same here... and these long posts feel as if Wolf is actually trying to manipulate the RP... but aren't we all? XP))
Kristal slumped to the floor, exhausted. "We haven't won... yet," She simply stated. The blue left from her eyes again, and she fell unconcious.

" This is getting out of hand," Lucas replied.
He looked at Spike, then Kristal.
" Well," he added," might as well get them back to the train."
Lucas picked them up and ran back.

He motioned over to Ozimandias to come over to where Lucas was at.
"But they're lying right here," said Ozzy.
"What he said." Trigger said, nodding towards Ozzy.

I told you, I wasn't! But, I guess, for a split second...I did..think of what might have happened to you, if you ever got hurt...well, I don't know what I would do, that's at least what my heart told me...I don't know what's this feeling inside me, it's like...I can't let go of you...
Kristal sat down, not feeling like moving. She tried to let it all sink in. She then chuckled slightly. Did it ever occur to you that I could have just dodged the attack?
No actually! Spike said, laughing to himself. I guess I just thought the negative, something's changing Kristal...and I feel that it's going to hurt me...or hurt you... I don't want it at all! Spike shouted with frustration.
I've seen these things, and always turn out wrong, hurting one or the other in some way that I don't want any of us to feel. Don't you wish that this would not happen? I mean, I feared that you could have died, but what did you feel? Did you feel fear as well? I hope you didn't...because then it's going to complicate our lives...
I felt... nothing, really. Kristal said, thinking hard. It was hard, because a whole bunch of emotions were going through me at the same time... I didn't know what to think. I felt my hands begin to glow... and the next thing I know, I'm here.
You didn't try...killing Giratina all by yourself, did you?
How the hell am I supposed to know? Kristal said, standing up. I don't really know... I guess the only thing that ran through my mind was revenge.

When they got back, Lucas put Kristal down.
He put his hands on hers and a blue aura eminated from his body.
" Kristal. Are you there?"

"Trigger, as far as I know, Riolu's are fighting types."
Lucas eared them. " An Aura Pokemon."
"Close enough. Anyway, since your an aura pokemon though, I have an idea. If you can use your aura and harness it towards me and Spike...I think I can reach him through an astral projection telepathy. Then, we can wake both of them up."
" Okay," Lucas replied," hhmmmmmmm." He open his hand with aura in it.
" Grasp my hand, but only for a second."

Kristal took a deep breath in. How do you know that Darkrai actually killed your father? I mean... did you see him do it?
"Okay, but hold me upright because I don't want to fall on my back." Trigger tried to stand up and lean against a nearby desk as he took Lucas's hand.

Spike was caught off guard and stuttered. K-K-Kristal?! Your talking about my father here, and I have already explained that Trigger saw it and even though he's a smarta**, he doesn't lie. Spike calmed down and quickly apologized. Sorry about that.
It's okay. Kristal said, thinking. If anyone should be sorry, it's me. And I was just thinking... maybe, it wasn't Darkrai who killed your dad? Darkrai seems like the kind of Pokemon who would hire others to do his dirty work; not do it himself... maybe I'm just overthinking things.
You do have a point there, but however, that was years ago. Darkrai could have changed, probably after what he did to my father, he hired others to do his work.

He let go of Trigger's paw and went back to work. Lucas closed his eyes.

I- Kristal was about to say something when she felt a slight buzz around her. She could also slightly hear something. Spike, did you hear that?

Trigger closed his eyes and suddenly, a beam of light fell in his mind, laying on a spot where a cubone was sitting indian style.
"Spike?!" The cubone turned around.
Trigger? Kristal, did you hear that? It's Trigger!
"She can't hear me, she is only hearing you, and Lucas."
Wait, Lucas is here to?
"Only through astral projection, just like me. Listen, come to my voice, and we are going to try to bring you back."
Okay, but don't accidentally kill me in the process!
"Very funny." Trigger then tried to think to Lucas.
Lucas! I got ahold of Spike, get Kristal so we can bring them both back.

Ozzy stared back and forth between Trigger, Lucas, Spike, and Kristal, not really knowing what was going on right now.

Suddenly, Trigger started feeling dizzy.
"Ugh...this astral projection is tough. Ozzy, help me here will you?" Trigger felt like barfing.
Ozzy ran over to Trigger and uh... did whatever was necessary to help him at the moment.
"Hold me up please, and fetch me a bucket, I think I'm going to puke."
Ozzy held him up, but couldn't find a bucket nearby. "Uh... We're on a train. Just puke outside."
He led him to a window.
((We're in the train right?))
((Yes.))
"Okay, you might wanna look awa-BLEEGGHHH!" Trigger pointed in the direction of the window outside and... well... you know the rest.
"Eurgh," muttered Ozzy, staring at the vomit. "Er..."
"That didn't feel so-BLEGHH! Oh man, not agai-BLEGHH! *cough*"
Ozzy backed away before any of the vomit got on him.
"Eh, are ya done?"
"Sorry...I don't feel good..." And with that, Trigger fainted as well.
"Oh. Well, this sucks," said Ozzy to himself.
Kristal let everyone who could hear her listen to her next words. I think it's best if we just wait to wake up on our own.
Yeah, but I think I lost Trigger...
" Thank you for waiting! We will now proceed to our destination: Rendar!"
" That must be the conductor," Lucas said," we need to get them awake!"
He then focused harder on reaching Kristal.
"Kristal, the train is about to start up again. Work towards waking up."

Spike felt his presence feeling for the floor around him beginnning to slow down.
Is that..the train?
Kristal listened. "Like I can control that," she simply put. "I guess I'll just have to wait until I wake up on my own. Just bring us back into our booth. That's our best bet."
" Sorry, I guess i'm a bit...flustered "
Lucas laid down Kristal in a bed, and put Spike in another.
((Don't you mean Spike instead of Ozzy? Last time I checked, Ozzy was concious. Also, Wolf, can I have permission to use your character's basic scheme in my fanfic I'm doing? I plan on using the schemes of Lucas and Spike (and a little of Ozzy, but not really), that is, with your permission, of course.))

Lucas stood up. " I'll stroll around the town. Trains normally take about an hour to get going."
He almost walked out when he looked back. " See ya."
When Lucas got there, he was amazed at the dense population of the small town.
He walked up and saw a sign for Pokephones. 1000Poke each.
" I'll take 5," he said to the cashier.
He walked around some more.
((Oh sweet vampire buddha.... two days after I get ungrounded our computer got hit with not one not two but three viruses. Well actually two viruses and some spyware. At any rate I'll try my best (If it all possible) to catch up and get back in this thang.

Lucas walked up to a big, neon sign.
" Exploration News!?" he yelled to himself. He picked up one.
EXPLORATION NEWS:
Our team of reporters has found out that the great rescuer Luario is alive.
The camera team managed to get a video of the battle with Darkrai to get
Lucario back. His son Lucas, as well as his friends, did a remarkable job defeating Darkrai.
" I should take this." He ran out and walked toward the train.
Meanwhile inside the the train....
" THANK YOU FOR WAITING. WE WILL NOW GO TO OUR NEXT STOP: RENDAR!"

Spike abruptly sat up and saw Ozzy standing near the fainted Trigger, while he saw Kristal lying down.
"Hey."
Lucas noticed the train was moving. " Hey!"
He ran and tried to catch up, but the train was too fast.
" What should I do?"
"Finally awake?" asked Ozzy. "What happened in the realm of your subconscious?"
Roy looked at Fugue. " I wonder where Lucas and Ozzy are."
"Your pesky little friends? Probably doing something stupid." remarked Fugue.
" I thought Ozzy was your friend."
Roy walked to Pokemon Square while talking.
"Well, it wasn't exciting, quite boring really. But,... never mind. What happened to Trigger though?"
Lucas gasped. " Let me try something." He closed his eyes, then teleported inside the train.
" Hello, Spike."
"Bah! Lucas! Don't scare me like that. Can you tell me why Trigger is unconscious?"
" He..........barfed and lost conscienceness. But not like yours."
"Ok, just throw some cold water on him, and I'll try to wake up Kristal."
Fugue gave Roy a thoughtful look. "Ally. Acquaintance, more like."
" Spike," Lucas replied," I think I should do it."
Kristal slowly opened her eyes, and sat up. "..."
"Right on cue," remarked Ozzy, turning to Kristal. "You okay, Kristal?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Kristal said, standing up. "I take it we're en route to Rendar?"

"Knowing our luck it probably will," commented Ozzy.
"But," Kristal turned away from the window and looked at Ozzy, "we have to remain optimistic."
"I suppose that's true," said Ozzy, frowning. "But sometimes that's easier said than done. I mean, you and Spike almost... died."
"Yeah," Kristal said, "we almost died. But we didn't, and that's what counts."
"Yeah," replied Ozzy softly. They haven't died... yet. But this has just begun...
" Hey guys. I got this." Lucas held up the newspaper.

Kristal quickly scanned the article. "That's peculiar. There wasn't anyone who saw us do anything... maybe your dad told the press about it?"
" Or maybe..." Lucas paused," they saw it overhead."
"What do you mean saw it overhead?" Trigger suddenly looked up.

Spike walked down the corridor and into the same place where they fought Giratina. He came back to find something that he saw before he blacked out. Then, he saw it. The little white crescent gem that he was holding just before he took the impact of the attack unleashed by Giratina.
"L.A. .... what could that mean?" Spike headed back into the train compartment were he saw Kristal standing up.
"KRISTAL! YOU'RE AWAKE!" Tears of joy ran down Spike's face and he ran over to hug her. Suddenly, he let go and wiped away his tears.
"Sorry...."

" Latias maybe?" Lucas asked. " Spike, you're late by the way."

"Just before I blacked out, I saw a light coming from the gem. Don't you? I think it stands for....Light Army..."

"I think D.A. could stand for ((Dumbledore's)) Darkrai's Army..." Kristal speculated. "That's still a longshot, though. It wouldn't make any sense to make your presence known with inscribing it on the back... maybe it's someone's initials?"

"It says... 666-9969. Well, those first 3 numbers sound pleasant." Spike sarcastically said.

"A book? Come on, half of those god-forsaken things made of paper are just exaggerations." Trigger retorted.
"Excuse him, the last time he read one was when he was 5 years old, and there is no such thing as Santa Claus, only Delibird. He never believed it." Spike whispered.
"Well, it does sorta help. At least now we know an idea of.." Spike stopped, and suddenly realized something.
"Wait a minute...oh no....WE NEED TO GET TO RENDAR NOW! EVERYBODY OFF THE TRAIN!" Spike ran out of the compartment and tried to get the conductor to stop the train.

"Guys, we need to leave now! We're going to get to Rendar on foot!" Spike jumped out of the train and found the source of his suspicions. A time bomb was ticking back on forth on it's clock, 5 more minutes and KABOOT it will go.

"Spike! Wait for me!" Trigger snatched up the two items and jumped out the window.

"Trigger, if your joking right now, that wasn't funny! You know that you will just kill us all in the process. We have to take it off or run." Spike took hold of the bomb and pulled as hard as he could. The bomb wouldn't budge.
"Oh f***. Look!" The bomb was stuck because there was super hot glue everywhere, not to mention a magnet.
"Ok, we now run." Spike hopped on Trigger.
"Let's go get the others!"
"Wait!" Kristal shouted to Spike. "Let me try to disarm the bomb. I think I can do it. Plus, if we try to travel to Rendar on foot, it will take no less than a week to get there. Do you know how much Darkrai could accomplish before then?"
" A lot. If necessary, I might be able to teleport us out. Can't hurt to try."
"Yeah, and have the rest of the passengers here die?" Kristal asked Lucas. "I can't let that happen." The hot glue had also stuck to most of the windows and doors on the outside of the train, so it was nearly impossible to get out. The window Spike and Trigger had gone through was one of the few that wasn't glued.
" Sorry," Lucas replied," for that. We need to find a substance that will protect us...Wait. That's it. Anyone have a map!?
"What the bloody hell is a map going to help us with?" Trigger yelled.
"Trigger shut up, and why are you using an English swear word? Go on Lucas." Spike replied.
" I could locate the next town. When I teleported there, I could go to the TM shop and buy a TM named Protect. I have around 2000Poke left, so when I bought it, I could teleport back. Cons: I can't help trying to defuse the bomb, and one of us has to give up a move."
Roy looked at Fugue. " Do you wanna watch T.V.?"
"Why don't we just disconnect this car from the others?" asked Ozzy.

"I have a small case of medical supplies in my bag," Kristal said, pulling out of her bag what appeared to be a briefcase, only slightly smaller. She opened it up and pulled out a small scalpel that fit firmly in her hand. "Perfect. Let's hope for the best," she said, moving towards the front of the train.
"That's... convenient," said Ozzy, stepping away from the bomb. "Just try not to mess up..."
"I'll do my best," Kristal said, putting on a pair of rubber gloves. "By the way, I carry the bag around because you never know who could get hurt. Think of it was a first aid kit; just more advanced."
"Works for me," remarked Ozzy. "But focus on the bomb for now!
