I live in New York. Every day, the Weathmen predict SNOW. Each week. Here's what happens in the order of events:
Weathmen: Snow!
Me: YEAH!!!
Weather: Just to rain on everyone's day, I'm going to quite literally rain on everyone's day!
Me: NO!
Apparently, they only say snow but it means rain. So I have a reason to get angry. PLUS, the cloud that was giving us "snow" apparently passed. So I'm really ****ed off now. I would trade Rain for Snow ANY day.
Has a similar event occured to you?
nope. when they say snow, we get it.
where in new york are you? cause what the hella kinda weather station is that? :P
Hail FTL. :(

the only time snow is good is when it comes in mass amounts during exam season.

I occasionally sleep over my cousin's house in Nassau county. I can get sleep there too, it's the cigarette smoke traces from my aunt that keep me up.
I'm in Kansas, and it happens a LOT here too! I'm with you - I'd rather see snow than rain in the wintertime. Nasty!
Let's all ninny at the weathermen because they should clearly be in complete control of the weather. ^_________^
Weathermen are only right about 0% of the time :P

Will do.
In Oregon, we don't even need weathermen most of the time. *Is standing in near perpetual rainfall.*
