Your Blood Type

I'm giving blood tomorrow, which I'm really pumped up for. I get to help people and find out what it feels like to get a liter of blood drained from my body. It's like killing one bird with two stones! Wait, that doesn't sound right...

Anyway, in the spirit of blood, I want to know what your blood type is. I'm A-, which I just found out is the 3rd rarest blood type (according to Wikipedia at least). I had always thought mine was one of the more common ones. But apparently all the negatives are rare compared to the positives. So how about that. My mom is an O- and my dad is A+, so I guess that's how I came to be A-.

So now for the obvious question... What's your blood type?

I have no idea. I've never given blood, but i've had my blood drawn more times than I can count. I always ask my doctor what my blood type is, but they always say I need to make a "special request" to get that information, or something...
