Jump maps are specially made maps with different jumps to accomplish. They are usually made for Demomen and Soldiers but maps for other classes exist.

anyway, I bet I can fail faster than you, I can't even do the soldier map in bestinclass without low grav :D

surf maps
we already have cp_bestinclass_v2 or whatever it's called.
many jump maps are far too hard for the average user (most everyone here).
they take lots of time to master.
I'm pretty good at jump/surf maps, so I wouldn't mind, however I'm pretty sure we have limited space and it would be kinda stupid to put a map in that only a few people would like....
