For the last time, guys, it's probably adtoll that causes the slowdown. If you're using Firefox, download NoScript, and blacklist adtoll.

If you're using IE or Opera, well, lol.

If you're using Opera, you can still disable adtoll by just turning off all scripts. The only problem with that is that you can't use tag buttons, but it's not that difficult to memorize tags and write them out manually anyway.

Actually, the only tag button I ever click here at NSF is the flash one. Most people here can't even use that.

So yeah, Opera shouldn't be a problem.

No, that's not it. AdToll's been gone for a while, it's the forum itself that was being slow. Every time I tried to load a page, it took a while for the browser's statusbar to get past "Waiting for nsiderforums.net..."
I've had "*adtoll*" in my adblock list for some time now.

I keep forgetting about that. Oh well. I haven't noticed any slowdown myself. But I am on a pretty darn fast connection compared to what I get at home, so yeah. Might just be that I can't notice it because of my incredible speediness.
