Title: Goldeneye... the second one... the second time...

So, guess what? You know Goldeneye for the Wii? You know, the best shooter on the console built for shooting that ironically has no shooter-lovers playing it? Well, it's going the route of No More Heroes and getting an HD remake for PS3 and Xbox 360. I swear that's the fifth time this year the Wii has been kicked in the face by a gaming company.

Of course, I'm sure ultimately it won't matter; the whole reason Goldeneye, on N64 or Wii, has ever been popular is because there aren't any better shooters on the console. It won't do as well on the FPS-heavy 360 and PS3, though; at the end of the day, CoD will still dominate PS3, CoD and Halo will continue to fight it out on 360, and Goldeneye will reign its small kingdom on the Wii alone. Not to mention that third parties will finally start helping Nintendo when Wii U comes out next year.

I wasn't really a fan of the Wii version of the game. It was too CoD-esque for me.
It'll probably do decently on PS3/360, though.

Ironically, the Xbox360/PS3 version is MORE CoD-esque. They just revamped the multiplayer and graphics.

Seriously? I'm calling it now, the reboot of Guitar Hero will be a CoD clone.

Oddly enough though, Goldeneye Wii did look an awful lot like a port for being *designed for Wii* Like comparing CoD4 to Reflex edition, the textures looked too bland to be made for the resolution they were at. Was this planned the whole time I wonder?

for no more heroes it's a good thing
for goldeneye it's an awful thing
no more heroes is fun and unique
new goldeneye is awful and bland

And yet, guess which one will flop worse.
