Anyways, pretty badass album if you ask me, the title track isn't my favorite, but it is growing on me. Skies on Fire is sitting at top slot for me right now.

Overall, there isn't a song I don't like, however, I don't think there is a huge hit, like Highway to Hell, or Thunderstruck....so, it's not the best thing ever.

Then again, at 12 bucks, who am I to complain? After an 8 year wait, all of it quenches my thirst for one of the definitive rock bands.

So, thoughts on Black Ice? Favorite Track? Go.

From what you've said, it sounds just like Metallica's Death Magnetic; it satisfies, and nothing more. =\

It does more than satisfy, imo, but it doesn't blow me away, either.

Of the three long awaited albums, Chinese democracy is the only one I love.

Black Ice...so average. And Metallicas new album left a lot to be desired.

But I love Shecklers revenge and chinese democracy, great tracks.

Chinese Democracy seems very promising from what I've heard; there's just something really interesting to me about the tracks. They have the whole album up on MySpace, I'm actually listening to it now...
