So, third daily poll.

This time:

Fire vs. Water vs. Grass



The topic at hand is the starter types. Which do you prefer? Which do you tend to start with or use? Topic wise, yours to do as you please with. Poll wise, it involves starters only!

Fire: The fire type is oft times considered the hardest to start with, but at the same time, is rather desirable down the road.

Grass: Essentially "Easy" mode early in most Pokemon games, can grow fast, and pack some major power down the road (exception being Sceptile).

Water: Fun fun fun, your medium starter, typically. Usually has perks later in the game.



My pick:

Grass. Tend to like the style of them more than the others. Bulba, Treecko, etc.

Used to be Water, but I've changed to Grass.

Water's too freaking common.

For me, it depends on the region. For Hoenn, I obviously choose Water, since it's strong against 3 of the first 4 GYMs.

I have always chosen the water starter in my first play-through of each game. They just appealed to me for some reason.

I chose Grass, Fire, Fire, Grass.  I rotate, especially if I get multiple versions of that generation.
