Good job! I, Viewtifulboy, declare you the CHAMPION!

I'm the official winner of the Viewtiful Victory roleplay championship!

Bearissoslow

i'm still waiting for someone to make an argument for VI being better than V

since i'd legitimately like to have it

Zero

subjectivity dawg

i'm curious though, what's so bad about IV?

Bearissoslow

melodrama and bad plot twists (OH NO KAIN'S EVIL FOR THE THIRD TIME)

no but really FFVI is either overrated or I'm a hipster

XII is really the only game in the series I've played and hated.

depends on what you consider a hipster.

OMG ETRIAN ODYSSEY

Bearissoslow

etrian odyssey isn't hipster though, that's like calling trauma center hipster.

and i didn't hate IV, just didn't really like it. the bosses were more annoying than anything and i didn't feel like grinding characters when 75% of them die anyway

Zero

isn't that the point of grinding though, to prevent getting intercourse ed?

trauma center is more successful iirc. I seldom hear anyone mention EO.

Bearissoslow

#67
i shouldn't have to grind every two bosses, especially when 90% of the time my grinding's only going to last on two or three characters out of five.

also EO isn't hipster. it's had two sequels and is developed by Atlus.

guess i just don't mind grinding

k. j/s I know next to no one that's even heard of it

The Riddler

IV is the best game in the series hands down and if you can't beat the bosses you just suck. You don't even have to grind much (unless you're playing the DS version which is the poop version)

Zero

I don't really remember ever having trouble with IV either.

I only have the FF Chronicles version though

DededeCloneChris

FF IV DS is the evil version. You're really going to find difficulty in there.

riddler stop trying to look cool, i played the GBA port and the DS port and they're the same intercourse ing thing.

Bearissoslow

oh and you're a faggot if you try to imply that melodrama = good storytelling

They're not even remotely close to the same thing.
The only better thing about the DS version is there is more backstory shown, and if you're into it, the increased difficulty. The DS version is much, much harder.

The GBA version has the bonus dungeons, the revamped graphics, and not to mention the ability to swap characters back in. The DS version doesn't have any of that.

The PSP version is the best hands down though.
