*Note: This is a side story of Dead Men Don't Tell Secrets made to keep the original RP somewhat alive with Birdie of Aces gone for the moment... so there's not ten pages of wasted space. Story:
The heroes were last left in confusion and disorder, putting their chances of winning the fight against the Dead Men at high risk. However, a much needed rest is in store for them...
Jas was sneaking through Scalus, not caring who or what she ran into, even though it was still early. She needed a good fight anyways. After an unsuccessful attempt of clearing her head, the ninja started back to the ship, planning on sleeping the rest of the night away. What she didn't expect to come across was flashing lights, the scent of food wafting throughout the area, and the sound of music blaring.
"What the hell!?" Jas started running towards the vessel. What could the others be thinking!? The last thing they needed to do was attract attention! Another unexpected thing literally crashes into her. "Oww..."
"Jasi! About time you got here!" It's one of the ninja's friends from Crescent Island .
"Are you insane!? Wait, don't answer that," Jas shakes her head. "What did you do!? You can't throw a party here!"
"I already got that covered," Jas' friend starts says with a devious glint in her eye. She starts dragging Jas back into her cabin on the ship. "Let's fix your hair... oh, and you're GOING to wear that dress."
The look on Jas' face grows more horrified as they pass by many posted papers with hearts on them, advertising the party.
"But I HATE Valentine's Day!"

Appearance: Black, caramel complexion... dark brown shoulder length hair that's held up in a curly ponytail with curls hanging loosely... dark hazel eyes that seem to get darker when she's upset, or shine in the light when she's in a good mood, claws, a tail, and fangs because of an incident involving her spell book... Has on a dark blue almost black low v-neck halter dress with the back out, stopping just above the knees, a slit on the right side, black stilettos...
Why you're at the party: Her friend somehow set the party up, and she's being forced to attend.
"This... isn't... happening..." Jas steps out of her room smirking a bit.
"Oh come on," Jas' friend runs up on the deck in her own outfit, to the party she started.
Jas sighs for the umpteenth time, and slowly follows after.

*Personality: Generally a good guy but his personallity completely changes when drunk.

Why you're at the party: He's always liked holidays no matter what it was and so he's the one who decorated the ship and arranged the party.

"This is high school all over again." Mira said, looking around as he entered the room.
*Name:Hattori Hanzö

*Gender:Male
*Personality:Hanzö is a ninja, but relaxed and speaks a lot. He is clever, and friendly but will go for a fight whenever asked for.
*Appearance: Instead of his mask and ninja outfit, he has a tuxedo and a top hat similar to Slash's
Why you're at the party:He needed to rest from finding the Dead Men. He likes to do sparring on the holiday carnivals and throwing darts and dunking people in the water tank.
"Lanbar, don't you think that valentines is really a great holiday?" Tanbar said looking around admirring how well he decorated the place.
"Yeah, sure. Whatever." He said back at him taking a cup of the fruit punch and then eyeing the wine. No...Resist temptation. I want to wake up in the morning remembering what I did this time! He then walked away drinking the punch.
"And the winner is, Hanzö!" The referee held up Hanzö's hand as he held up his sparring stick. The opponent walked away, embarrassed.
"Who's next?"

Jas steps onto the deck, and starts making her way to the food table. For some reason, she can't find the little devil who got her into this. "The point of this party was to what?" Jas asks herself. 'Once again by myself on this stupid day...'
((Mira did some things to get out early)).
"Sparring? At a party like this? It's more likely than you think." Mira took a cup and drank some punch. Punch? At this party? It's more likely than you think.
"Have fun of course." Lanbar said as he couldn't help himself but to answer Jas's rhetorical question. "Now c'mon and have some fun!"
Hmph...how can we have fun with all these people on this ship. We're like a beacon to the Dead Men. the only way I could have fun is if I got some vodka or maybe some rum. Lanbar thought to himself as he watched Hanzo spar the amateurs on the ship. "Although watching Hanzo beat the snot out of these people is pretty fun to watch." He mumbled to himself taking another sip of the punch.
"You! Lanbar, I challenge you!"
"Fun," Jas trails off, then sees the sparring matches. 'I should go over there and start kickin' his ass...' She looks at her outfit. 'But it's impossible in this thing...'
"I don't think he's the type who would want to challenge you."
*Name: Venice
*Age: 17
*Gender: Male
*Personality: Sarcastic and mean at almost all times. Rather pessimistic tendencies.
*Appearance: Pale skin, dark brown eyes, black hair, a tattered, stolen tux.
Why you're at the party: Nothing better to do. :|
"Woah! No thanks. I'd rather be a spectator right now." Lanbar said to him. "I'm here to have fun, not get my ass whooped."
Venice stepped out of his room after a nap and found a party going on. He closed his eyes and sighed before sneaking off the ship and heading into a store. When he walked out, he was wearing a somewhat tattered tux. He went back to the ship and saw Jas. A few seconds later, he was doubled over laughing at the image of her in a dress.
"Whatever, all challengers, don't be afraid! If your not fighting just because you have a dress or a suit on, don't worry! We'll put a sparring suit over it so you can fight!" ((Wink wink))
".... I don't want to know."
((Dun hate on Jas cuz she's fine as hell. XP))
Jas walks over to the railing, and starts watching the lights reflect off the water, drink in hand. She sets it down, then looks back at the sparring area. "Heh..."
Venice was still cracking up over Jas in a dress.
"Hey, Jas!" he called. "Are ya gonna fight in that dress?"
"Yeah, I think I will," Jas goes over to where the fights are being held. "Then I'll fight you too just to bash your head in and make you shut up."
Obviously, the threat didn't make Venice shut up at all. He followed Jas, just to watch what happened if she fought in that dress.

Jas takes the weapon. The challengers who do step up to her are beaten down one by one with bruises forming on them.

"Oh, so she can fight in a dress," commented Venice. He paused for a moment. Got nothing better to do at this boring party.
"Hey, Jas! I'll challenge you!"

"Get over here and fight me then," Jas says, holding the weapon over her shoulder.

"As you wish," said Venice, grabbing a weapon and slashed at Jas experimentally.
Jas blocks then does a vertical slash. "Maybe you won't fall over in one hit... Maybe it'll take two."
Venice blocked the slash, ignoring her comment. He feigned a slash to her legs then swung up to her neck.
Jas blocks that slash, stepping back somewhat. She then aims a kick at Venice's shin
"A weird party for this theme this is...."

Venice stepped away from the kick and stabbed at Jas.

Harver moved over to a railing, and leaned against it. The good news was that it wasn't the re-re-re-re-re-repaired railing. The bad news was that he was right next to it. His arm adjusted to land on top of the railing, and... it didn't budge.

Harver looks over at the spar. "You have got to be kidding me." He scoffs at the pretend romance going on between the two. He always knew Jas had a good strategy. But, something about that giggle made him uneasy... Meanwhile, Emit was still throwing confetti around.

Venice took a step back. "Whoa, Jas is giggling?! It must be the end of the world," he said. "ANd that's not gonna work. I'm not Harver."
With that, he slashed vertically.

"Meh." Mira stepped outside.
"Should that really matter?" Jas dances around Venice's attack, then strikes at his back.
"And I thought this was a Valentine's Day party," Harver said, watching the spar.
Venice barely managed to block the strike in time.
"Yes, it does matter. What would Harver say if he knew you were cheating on him?" teased Venice, feinting a stab then slashing to her legs.
Harver thought, while watching the fight. Yeah... what would I say?
Party!! Chocolates and flowers for everyone! Wheeeeee-!

I wonder who started this party? Either way, it's boring around here. Mira rolled his eyes in a complete circle under his mask as he thought the last part of what he did.
"I don't think faking like there could've been something then running off with the Dead Men counts," Jas says coldly, then barely twirls out of the way, then stabs at Venice like she's actually trying to hit him this time.

"Hot-headed as ever," muttered Venice, taking another step backwards then slashing at Jas once more.

Harver felt those words sting. ... He then turned to Mira. "Hey... what's under your mask, anyway?"

Tanbar and Lanbar watched the two sparring. "You know, I still don't know how you talked me into letting there being spars at the party."
"Hey, I have my ways." Lanbar said with a shrug and decided to go flirt with some of the ladies at the party.

Harver decided to go inside the ship and get some punch.
Tanbar went over to where the food and drinks were and started snacking on some chocolates. yum...the one of the best things about valentine's day. Chocolate!

Jas is looking at her multi-colored reflection in the water again. "Stupid Valentine's Day... Cupid can take an arrow and shove it up his ass..."
Harver came back outside with his punch in hand and went to the railing. He saw Jas a few feet away. "Good match," He said, commenting on the spar that had just taken place.
Mira sat cross-legged on a nearby rail.
Venice got a drink and leaned against a rail. Unfortunately, this just happened to be the re-re-re-re-re-re-re-repaired rail, which broke off again. Ooh. Tanbar's not gonna like that. He decidedly went to the other side of the boat, under the pretense of getting more punch.
Harver watched the railing fall in dismay. Odd... wasn't I just over there? Meanwhile, Emit was holding up a flower, plucking off the petals.

After Tanbar finished indulging himself in the chocolates, he decided to take a walk around. Lanbar saw that the rail was broken and quickly ran over to Tanbar. "Hey, there's an um...guy on the other side of the ship who wants to talk to you...yeah." He then pushed him in the other direction. "Just keep going that way!"
"Um...okay." Tanbar said walking away from the re-re-re-re-re-re-re-broken rail.
"Whew...that was a close one."
Jas barely even glances up. "Yeah, it was," she swirls her own drink around.
Meanwhile, Jas' crazy friend happens to find Venice. "Hi!"

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!! "Excuse me for a minute." Harver turned around, and snapped his fingers. In an instant, Emit's hat burst into flames.
GYAAAAAAAAAH!!!! HOT HOT HOT HOT HAAAAAAAAAAHHHHT!!!!! He jumped over the railing, and landed in the sea. Harver turned back to Jas. "Sorry about that. Anyway, I just want you to know that the entire Dead Men thing... I mean... can't we put it all behind us? Just for the night?"

Venice thought he heard someone yelling. He looked over to where the re-re-re-re-re-re-re-repaired rail had been and went over.

Tanbar eventually gave up on finding the person that didn't exist so he ended up eating more chocolate and candy. He could feel himself become more active. Meanwhile, Lanbar was trying to stand as far as physically possible from the wine and other alcohols.
Jas smiles a little. "You can take that as a yes," she uses a Water spell to lift the person in the water back onto the boat.
Jas' friend starts pulling Venice towards the dance floor. "Come dance with me."
Harver sighed, and leaned against the rail. At least I'm not dead yet... Meanwhile, Emit was attempting to climb back onboard.
"Huh?!" cried Venice as he was dragged on. WHo the hell is this girl, anyway?! Gah. No choice.
He didn't bother struggling.

"So, what do you think of these kind of parties?" Harver asked Jas. "Honestly, I've never been a large fan of them."
Jas laughs as she notices that her friend got hold of Venice. She sips her drink a little. "I don't like them. I was pretty much forced into being here."
"Soo, what's you're name?" The unknown girl starts dancing with Venice.
Harver noticed where Jas was looking, and smiled too. "She dragged you here?"

"Venice," he muttered, resisting the urge to hurt the girl. He turned around and saw Jas and Harver. He shot them a look full of hatred.

Harver chuckled softly as he saw Venice glare at Jas and him.
"Thanks." Mira looked at Venice. "Mighty-ninja? Did I miss something important? When did that come in?"
Tanbar started becoming more and more hyper as he talked and danced with more and more random people eating sugar between talking and dancing.
hmph...Well...I never really suspected Tanbar of being a sugar-addict. Lanbar watched Tanbar running around like a fool.
"That would be when you tried to blow up that guy with the sword using shuriken," replied Venice as he was forced to dance.
"Yeah, she did," Jas keeps laughing. After a while, she ends up swaying slightly to the music playing.
"You can call me Christy," the girl giggles and pulls poor Venice closer. "Or babycakes."

Venice tried to struggle free from the girl. "I think I'll just stick with Christy," he muttered.
He turned to Mira and said "That guy was annoying." Then he mouthed silently to him "Help save me from her," indicating Christy and hoping Mira could read lips well enough.
Harver laughed at Venice's futile attempts at escaping. "So, is she your friend, or something?" He asked Jas.

"Hey, come back," Christy pulls Venice back so he'll slow dance with her.
"Yep," Jas looks back at Harver. "One of my friends from home."
Mira read his lips and started playing fast-paced music.
Tanbar ran over to Jas. "Hey,who'syourfriend?I'veneverseenherbefore.Whoisshe?Doyouhaveanymorefriends?" Tanbar said quickly poking and prodding at Jas.
"Woah. Tanbar, slow down. What have you eaten tonight?"
"Sugarsugar!Lotsofsugar!"
Venice mouthed a 'Thank you,' but he knew Christy wouldn't give up. I wonder if I could get away with poisoning her... he thought. Yes. That could work. It needn't be deadly. Just enough to knock her out until the we're out of here. Need an excuse though.
"Er... Uh... Christy, I'm gonna... uhh... Get some punch!" he said, starting to walk away.

Christy follows after Venice. "Don't leave me here!"
Jas slaps Tanbar's hand away so she can't be poked anymore, and says. "That's Christy, currenty obsessed with Venice, and yes my friends are all over the place for some reason."
I officially hate Jas and her friends. thought Venice. He started walking in the direction of Jas, Harver, and Tanbar, hoping to distract Christy by forcing her to make small talk with them.

Harver smiled. "Sounds like you have a lot of friends," he said to Jas, sipping his punch quietly.
"Hey Jas," Christy grins, then looks at Venice again.
"New obsession?" Jas asks, following her friend's gaze.
"You know I love them badassess," Christy eats a piece of candy.
Jas finishes her drink. "I could leave ya with him," she says, knowing Venice would be annoyed to an infinite power.
"You don't have to, I'm going," Christy takes off looking for Venice again as fast as her heels will take her.
((Lanbar comes out of RP and takes all the alcoholic drinks from everyones houses and drinks them...I think we've officially started a new fad. @.@))
"Yeah!ItsoundslikeyouhavealotoffriendsJas." Tanbar said now poking Harver.
"Wow...he's worse than me when I'm drunk." Lanbar said to them.
Venice dashed into his room, locked the door, took out a velvet-lined box full of poison darts and dashed out again. He had an epic idea that would get Christy out of his hair. Well, not so epic, but it would hopefully work.

Harver batted away at Tanbar. "Go poke someone else." He turned to Jas and Lanbar. "Since when has Venice been a chick magnet?"
Venice walked up to them. "I heard that, Harver!" he said. "And Tanbar, you touch me, you die."
"Only female I've seen on him is Christy," Jas says shrugging.
Christy doesn't hear what Mira says. "Vennniiieee!" She keeps looking for Venice.

"I don't think it's Venice, I think it's just Jas's friend." Lanbar said looking over to Tanbar who was back over where the candy was eating more. I hope he gets a tooth ache. -_-;
"OBJECTION! Venice is..... Nowhere to be found!"
Venice cringed at the sound of Christy. He took a dart from the box that would put her to sleep for a couple of hours. He stood by the others, waiting for her to find him.
"Hey, Harver, you aren't much of a chick magnet either. The only one you've attracted is Jas, and that's not much of a catch."

Christy flies past Jas, then tackles Venice in a bear hug.
"Damn! Why did you have to go and do that!?" Mira banged his head on an invisible desk, then saw Christy and Venice. "Damn!"

He didn't have time to say anymore because Christy had tackled him. He threw the dart in his hand toward her neck.
Harver glared at Venice. "And what's that supposed to mean?" He asked, referring to the last comment.
Christy dozes off, still clinging to Venice. "Mmmhehehe..."
Jas got hold of a glass of wine, and was now standing against a wall, drinking it... she doesn't know what Venice did.

Venice freed himself from Christy and turned to Harver. "What do you think I meant?" he said.
Then he turned around and say Lanbar walking to the drinks. "Er. Should someone stop him from getting any alcohol before he blows up the ship? Cause having a hyperactive Tanbar and a drunk Lanbar does not sound good..."
"Venice! Try using the alcohol to get her drunk, then unconscious!"
Lanbar took a bottle from the table and started pouring himself a glass and he brought it up to his mouth to take a sip of it. ((Insert dramatic music here)) He was about to take a drink when all of the sudden, Tanbar came running into him.
"Oh,sorry.Ididn'tmeantodothat.I'lljustkeeprunninglapsaroundtheship.BYE!" And Tanbar hopped back up and continued running around.
"Stupid hyper-active baster." Lanbar said standing up and patting himself off and then grabbing another glass and got ready to take a drink of the wine.

"Harver, I know that." Venice spared a glance at Jas then turned around and say Lanbar about to take wine. "SOMEONE STOP THE DRUNK!!!" he yelled.
"Huh. Very well then." Mira took out a pen-like device and used it to shoot a projectile at Lanbar's glass.
Harver walked over to where Jas had went. "What is it with you and being alone?" He asked her.
"It's not like I wanna be alone," Jas says setting the glass down. "He just mad me off..."

Jas stands there thinking. 'He's pretty much the only one who hasn't said anything about what happened to me...'
"Life's full of people like that," Harver said. "'If you think that's bad, try working wth the Dead Men. All obnoxious and corrupt... each day, I feel more and more lonely. Not a day goes by where I don't wonder if I made the right decision..."
Mira sat down on the floor. What kind of party is this, when everyone appears to be lonely?
"Well," Jas starts. "You have me. At least for now." She looks out at the dance floor.
Mira leaned back, leaving him to lay on the floor.

Mira rolled backwards, over his arms, resulting in Mira sitting on his knees, with his hand also placed at his knees. "Sup?"
"Thanks," Harver said. He then looked over to the dance floor, where Jas was looking. "What are you thinking...?"
The projectile hit the glass but not before Lanbar was able to take a sip. He started feeling tipsy. "Sstrange...I thought that was punch...Oh well." He took another glass and was about to take another drink.

Fortunately for Mira, this one is less crazy than Christy. "Ooh nothing. Just seeing why you're laying around at a party."
"Since it is Valentine's Day," Jas looks back at Harver. 'And even though I hate it...' "Well..." She turns and sees Lanbar with the drink. "Put that DOWN!" Then glances back at Harver. "Um..."

Lanbar was startled by Jas's shout and spilt the drink everywhere. "D'oh! Now why'd you go and waste a perfectly good drink like that?"
"Oh!Oh!Iknow!Iknowwhy!" Tanbar said jumping over to Lanber.
Lanbar let out a deep sigh. "Okay, tell me why." How many pounds of sugar has he had tonight?
"Becauseshedidn'twantyougettingdrunk!" He said hopping up and down with a ear-to-ear smile on his face.
"Um...Tanbar, are you okay?" Lanbar said looking at him nervously. Not only is he more annoying than I am when I'm drunk...He might be more dangerous.
"I'mdoingjustfine.I'mgoingtogetmoresugar!" And with that he ran off to where the candy was and ate some more.
Harver got the clue, and grabbed one of her hands. "May I have this dance?"

"Yes, you may," Jas looks up at Harver and smiles.

Hanzö realized he must have been knocked out when he was training. He looked over and saw a heavy metal ball.

Hanzö took off his sparring suit and walked outside. He noticed everybody rushing everywhere and saw the others. Jas and Harver were dancing, a girl was crowding the crazy ninja boy, another one was running like heck from another girl, and the two twins were getting drunk and hyper.
Lovebirds, psycho girls, drunk/hyper twins? What kind of Valentine's Day is this?
Hanzö walked over to Mira.
"So, whatcha doin' on the floor ninja boy?"

Jas walks along, ignoring any crazy looks she may be getting at the moment.
Hanzö ignored Mira at the moment and saw Harver and Jas walking up to the dance floor.
Jas, dancing? This is new...
Hanzö came to greet them.
"We meet again. How do you both do?" Hanzö bowed.
"We're-" Jas is cut off as another of her friends goes after Hanzo. "..."
Harver looked at Hanzo questionably. "Do I know you...?" He then chuckled softly as another one of Jas's friends went after Hanzo.

Jas nods and takes them further out on the floor.

Harver smiled as he began to dance with Jas.

"Hi Serenity, that's a beautiful name. Name's Hanzö." Then he thought of something. He started to play along.
"I'm honored to be by your presence." Hanzö said, kissing the top of her hand.
"Why thank you," Serenity giggles more.
Jas moves to the music, deciding to enjoy what she can for onw.
"If only we could always be this carefree," Harver said, as he dance with Jas to the music.
"Shall we dance?" Hanzö bowed before Serenity.
"Hey Jas, she's very pretty. Why don't you tell me these things?" Hanzö said, still playing along.
"I know," Jas says. "But reality's just that cruel, isn't it..." 'You'll see why,' she thinks, not saying anything in response to what Hanzo said.
"I accept your offer, Hanzo," Serenity, being the one who loves to play princess, curtsies.
"Yeah," Harver started. "We can't hide from the truth forever."
"So?" Jas asks as the DJ puts on steppin' music. "Doesn't mean we can't enjoy what we have."

Jas' friend pulls Mira back up. "You're not laying around, we're gonna go party!"
Jas spins and dips, laughing. "Besides, it's pretty much a once in a lifetime chance seeing me in this state."
Harver chuckled, spinning Jas. "Unlike people such as Venice, I actually like you in this dress."
"Very well then." Mira rolled back, as if to jump forward, but he managed to jump backwards, leaving him to do a bakcflip in the process. Then, he stood up.
Jas' friend grins "Nice. You never did tell me your name. I'm Alissa."
"Thanks," Jas smiles as the dance continues.
"Hello Alissa, I am Mira."
"Mira hm? Such a cutie!" Alissa starts taking him out to the dance floor.
Mira's started turning red for whatever reason.
"Aww, you're blushing!" Alissa starts dancing with Mira.
"My mask!" Mira put his hands on his mask, only for his gloves to get burnt. "Ow!" Mira withdrew his hands from his mask and continued dancing.
"You okay?" Alissa starts observing Mira's hands as they dance.
"The hands; they burn."
Harver chuckled as he watched Mira's struggle. "So, I see you've met a few others while I was away," He said, returning to his dance with Jas.
"Yeah, I have," Jas changes her dance as the temp of the music slows.
"Why do they burn?" Alissa asks, cuddling Mira's hands.
Harver adjusted to the flow of the music as well. "Any of them friends?"
Mira's mask became even more red, and something like steam can be seen coming off the mask. "It's...... It's probably my mask."
And so it has finally happened...Lanbar has become insanely drunk. "Hey there ladiessss. How'ya -hic- doin'?" He said to the ice sculpter of cupid.
"Hey,Lanbar,youdoknowyou'retalkingtoanicesculpter.Doyou?Doyou?Huh?Huh?Huh!?" Tanbar running up to him.
"-hic- What?" Was his only response to that.
"I don't know them like that," Jas says. "But they're okay."
"Why would it make that happen?" Alissa continues cuddling Mira's hands.
White Smoke appeared to be coming off his mask. "I... I.... I'm not sure."
Alissa abruptly lets go of Mira's hands. "I'll go get you some water," she skips away.
Mira's mask started to cool down and the smoke started to clear.
Harver nodded, and continued to dance with Jas. "How have Solon and Kai been? I haven't seen them all night."
"Distant," Jas says simply. "Ever since the group... split... everyone's been distant."
Alissa comes back. "Sooo you're okay?"
Harver looked down at the ground. "So this whole thing really is my fault."
"Yeah, I think I'm fine."
"Ahh..." Jas turns Harver's head so he's facing her. "No. It just couldn't be helped, that's all."
"Aww, guess I went to get this water for you for nothing," Alissa puts the glass in Mira's hand.
"Uh..... Thanks anyway?"
"Whatever Jas." Hanzö took Serenity to the dance floor.
"Hey DJ! Drop it like it's hot!" A very fast, hip-hop music/rap started pumping up.
"Let's move like fire." Hanzö spun Serenity until she reached her arm.

"Very well, hate seems to be a natural tend around me." Mira did a handstand.
This girl wants something...maybe I should get her somewhere...so I can get her away from the dance floor...to a little private room.
"Hey Jas? Can we use your room for a while?" Hanzö tried to give her the sign that he wanted to spend some time with Serenity...alone.

Lanbar saw the dance floor and started dancing...and he was pretty good considering that he was completely drunk.
"Eh, the drunk have their talents." Mira commented, maintaining his handstand.

"Will you quit drinking already?" Hanzo threw a rose from a bouquet that was on a table at three of the glasses, breaking them.
"Jeez, your more addicted than Tanbar, by the way where is he?"
"No, I will -hic- not!" He said grabbing the whole bottle of wine and drank from that. "And I think...-hic-...I...Don't know where -hic- he issss." He took another large gulp. "But I don't really -hic- care."
Jas just shakes her head and ignores the commotion.
"Security!" Two guards came in and were prepared to take Tanbar away for drinking too much.
"Run Lanbar, run!" Hanzö said sarcastically.
"So Jas, may we borrow the room?"
"Wha?" sssstupid borhter thinking it wasss a good idea getting security. "Whatever...-hic-" He ignored the two and continued drinking.
The security guards took out cattle prods and said,
"Easy now, we don't mean harm."
"You can stay here, just make sure everyone else gets to drink too!"

"Hey, a shiny nickel!" Tanbar bent down to pick up the nickel and the taser missed him barely.
Perfect, while they're dissstracted with Mr.Hyper over there... And Lanbar grabbed the other bottles of wine and snuck off to his room.
"Eh, screw it." Mira fell onto the top part of his back and did the same thing as before. "This party sucks now."
"Why?" Jas asks Mira. "Because you're all alone and you refuse to participate in all the randomness?"
Harver continued to dance with Jas, trying to ignore the commotion.
Jas (still dancing) leads Harver away from the others, to another part of the dance floor.
Harver follows Jas's lead, and they end up in a less crowded area of the dance floor. "This is better," he said, smirking.
"I was alone when I entered, and the party sucked then. What's your point?"
"Why do you think we're over here?" Jas asks, lightly pulling Harver closer.
"How am I supposed to know?" Harver asked, answering with a question of his own.
"Why shouldn't you know?" Jas smiles a bit.
Harver smiled back. "You know me. I don't dive into those kinds of details often."
Mira went outside.
"Often," Jas tilts her head to the side a little. "That doesn't mean never, meaning you are perfectly capable of telling me details."
"I might want to talk to Alissa." Mira went to locate Alissa.
Alissa is in a corner, still sniffling.
Very well, let's get started. "Hi."
Harver laughed a little. "Let's see... we're here, because you wanted to get away from the commotion over there," he suggested.
"H-hi," Alissa takes a sip of her drink.
"Makes sense," Jas glances up at the sky for a moment, noticing that the moon has been in the same spot for the entire time.
"How are you?"

"I'm fine I-iii think," Alissa stands up, but ended up drinking too much of the punch someone spiked. She falls over knocked out.
"Huh!?" Mira checks to see if Alissa is ok.
"This... is a strange party. Jas and Harver are dancing, Tanbar is... whatever. Lanbar got drunk again. Hanzo wants to take a girl somewhere private..." Venice paused. "Boring. The ship didn't even blow up."
Mira tried to signal Venice over.
Venice noticed Mira and went over, noticing Alyssa. "What did you do to her?" he asked, prodding the unconscious girl with his foot.
"I think I made her upset earlier, then I was talking with her, then she became unconscious for an unknown reason But that is not the point. Can you do me a favor and tell Hanzo that he and his date can go outside? I don't think anyone is out there at the moment."
Alissa is snoring a bit, clearly drunk.
Jas snaps back to reality, mentally scolding herself for spacing out.
"Yeah, sure," replied Venice, going over to Hanzo. "Hanzo, ninja boy says you and your date can go outside. No one is out there."
((How long has Christy been down? The poison lasts about an hour.))

Christy gets up, and spots Venice. She starts making her way towards him, hidden in the crowd.
"Hey! Can I get some Chaser over here?!"
Venice made his way back tn Mira and Alyssa, oblivious to Christy being awake.
"Do you have some spare Chaser?"
"No," he said.
Christy tackles Venice from behind. "VENNIIIEEE!"
Meanwhile, Jas' spell book sits on a desk in the ninja's room. It reacts to Jas not wanting the night to end by glowing, then causing a white flash that looks like fireworks in the sky. Now night won't turn to day unless Jas wants it to.
((Gotta make it possible for the party to keep going somehow.))
"Hey, do you have some Chaser?" Mira asked Christy.
Venice was knocked to the ground with Christy on top. He did the only thing he could think of that might stun her enough without hurting her. He kissed her.
"!?" Christy lays there, frozen in happiness.
Jas feels a pulse from something, but shakes it off. 'I'm supposed to having fun and not give a rat's ass about anything...'
"Eh crap. Well I can't just leave her there....." Mira tried to figure out what to do.
Harver looked up in the sky while dancing with Jas, seeing the flash in the sky. "'Fireworks on Valentine's Day?" He asked, thinking out loud.
Venice wormed away and sat down, suddenly tired and, for some reason, happy. His face was red.
"You alright? I think you may have 'tamed' your date."
"I am fine, ninja boy," replied Venice.

In about another three seconds, Christy is clinging to Venice. "^____^"
Jas noticed the flash too. "It makes things more ummm, special, romantic, think of it that way."

"So yeah, I think she's safe now. Do you think you can handle it, or did that kiss get to you?"

Harver continued to dance with Jas. "It is a nice touch... I wonder who set it off."
"What was that, ninja boy?" said Venice, half angry, half happy. He did not try to escape Christy this time.
"A little late on my part, but I think you guys make a great part. Now, can you guys help me with my... date?"
"She is drunk. Throw her overboard."

"Yeah, from what I see, everyone's still here," Jas looks at Harver.
Christy continues to cling to Venice like a crazy magnet, but then she sees hears what Venice says about Alissa. "You jackass!" She lets go and stomps off.
"Half-sad?"
"YES!" said Venice. "The act worked!"

Alissa's snoring gets a tad louder.

"Ok then..... Are you sure it was an act?"
"Yes, ninja boy. It was all an act," said Venice.
"Your tone indicated otherwise, even though your joy is understandable. I shall leave.... Naw, I can't. It's probably better to stay with Alissa."
"Alright then, thanks Venice. Come on Serenity, we have got to talk a lot more about ourselves." Hanzö pulled Serenity away from the dance floor, snatched up a white rose, and took her outside, where the moon was shining bright.
"Serenity, the moon, this rose, and you, just seem to have something in common."
Lanbar was stumbling around when he feel down and started snoring next to Alissa.
Alissa wakes up, and the first person she sees happens to be Lanbar. "ACK! PERVERT!" She jumps up and kicks him where it hurts.
"Why might that be?" Serenity asks, suddenly lady-like.
Lanbar woke up to the rude awakening and doubled over in pain. "Now...what...was...that...for?" He barely managed to say.
"You got me drunk and slept with me!" Alissa shrieks, not remembering that she got herself drunk because she's clingy and oversensitive.
((So glad their equivalents are not like this irl... >.>))
"Beauty Serenity...beauty." Then Hanzö, suddenly meaning it for real, leaned in to kiss her.
"What? Drunk!?" LAnbar said standing up starting to recover from the hit. "I wasn't letting anybody have MY alcohol!" He said angered that he was kicked in the weak spot for no good reason.
Hanzö ignored the angry Lanbar and still leaned in, waiting for Serenity to do the same.
"Lies! You can't hog the alcohol stupid!" Alissa kicks Lanbar again. "It's a party!" She starts cussing him out in Spanish.
Serenity leans in and lets herself be kissed.
((This is sad. My not important people get romance but my main girl doesn't. -_-))

Hanzö held Serenity as they kissed under the moonlight,
"I never thought I would meet the one, the one girl I was always looking for in my heart. Your friend Jas, I feel sorry for. I wish that Harver would be as brave as me and give some love to the girl. Don't you feel sorry for your friend? I think we should help them out." Hanzö said with an impish smile.
"But if we interfere, Jas will start acting like well... Jas..." Serenity pauses for a minute. "I'm in, and I'm pretty sure the others would get involved too."
"Ok, then it's settled. I'll round up some of the boys around here. Get Christy and Aliss, hopefully they'll help too."
"'Kay," Serenity starts going around the boat, looking for the other two psychos.
"Erm......." Mira scratched his head. "Where you drinking something before this?" Mira asked Alissa.
"Hey guys, see that girl over there?" Hanzö asked a group of boys that were near the refreshment table.
"Yeah!"
"Dude, she's smokin' hot!"
Hanzö smacked them, which made them realize that she was already dancing with Harver.
"We're trying to get them to kiss, and they've been hard on each other so-"
"Don't worry, we got it covered, is anyone else helping out?"
"Yeah, my date Serenity just went around to find her friends Aliss and Christy. Find them, and explain your plan to them."
"Alright, what you need to do, is just to dance with your date by Harver and Jas. Pressure them, and we'll do the rest. By the way, name's Max."
"Best wishes for luck in this plan gentlemen!" Hanzö greeted them off, as they went around to search for the other girls. Max then came out, and spoke to the DJ, the DJ then took off his headphones and gave them to the boy. He gave Hanzö a thumbs up and Hanzö noticed Mira with Aliss.
"Hey Mira, can I borrow you for a second, now?" Hanzö dragged Mira by the ear until they were out of earshot and told everything about the plan to him.
Before Alissa can answer, she's pulled away by Serenity. "Hey, you gotta help me!" She says, then drags her off to find Christy. A different idea is running through her head.
"H-hey, what's going on?"
"We're trying to get Harver and Jas to fall in love. And your gonna help, like it or not. Now, say sorry to Aliss so you guys can dance."
"Didn't I do that yet?"
Lanbar saw Alissa being taken away. "Whew, so glad that psycho girl won't be around to bother me anymore." He said heading off in the opposite direction.

Serenity finds Hanzo again, the other two girls at her side.

"Mira, say sorry to Aliss. The more couples kissing and dancing next to Jas and Harver, the better." Hanzö then embraces Serenity.

Mira starts looking around for Alissa from his location.
Zarani sat staring at the ground, his legs sprawled out. His brow was furrowed and he had a pained look on his face.
Alissa taps on Mira's shoulder. "Right here."
Christy sighs and goes to look for Venice.

Zarani eyed them as if they were both plague-infected. "Blood hell, mates. There is one female member of the Dead Men..." He clapped his hands over his mouth and clamped his eyes shut.
"And that one person is who you want to go out with!" Mira concluded.
"Uhh, uhh, uhh..." Zarani was left speechless.

Zarani glared around at the people for a moment.

Zarani stood for a moment, then snapped his fingers together. "I've got it, mate." He took off his eyepatch, revealing the blood eye. "I just need some of my blood in them..."

Harver continued to dance with Jas. "This isn't actually that bad of a party, now that I think about it."
Venice was about to say somethin, but was suddenly pulled away by a girl in a black dress, with brunette hair.
"Hey Venice, recognize me?"
"Uh..." It took him a moment to figure it out. "Trin?"
"Yep! But what is Zarani doing here?"
"Suffering," smirked Venice. She did not inquire any further, and silence pervaded for a moment. Venice had a chance to look at her. In a night black dress and makeup professionally put on, she was radiantly beautiful. "Uh..."
She caught his glance and smirked. "Aw, admiring my looks? Heh, you don't look half bad either." He flinched momentarily.
Just ask to her to dance, already! his mind screeched. Finally he said, "May I have this dance?"
She smirked and lead the way to the dance floor.
"Alright, mate. I get my blood in them. They kiss, and fall in eternal love. The two are together, they keep out of our hair. Yada yada, Larry's your uncle, Barbara's your wife.((Or something like that. >>))" He explained, doing little movements with his hands. "And then we hunt down a certain Dead Woman and I use my expertise of the female persuasion to woo said Dead Woman." He nodded. "Savvy?"
"That sounds unnatural! But only because that's forcing emotion!"
"So? Whatever he does couldn't get worse than marriage." Lanbar said popping into the conversation.
"That's mean!" Tanbar said punching Lanbar in the arm.
"Ow! I was only kidding...And what happened to your hyper-activeness?" Lanbar asked.
"They...banned me from the candy table." Tanbar said looking down and Lanbar trying to hold back his laughter.
"So -snicker- who's this Dead Woman I just heard about?" Lanbar asked Zarani.
Zarani shook his head. "Fine, mate. I don't suppose you have any other ideas." Zarani glared at Tanbar. "It's. Not. Funny!" He said, crossing his arms. "And her name is Tess."
A woman in an aquamarine hoody-like shirt with blue pants sat on a bench somewhere in Scalus, twisting her flowing blonde hair around her finger. "So bored..." She said, staring at the opposite wall. On her waist, two knives were clamped onto a belt.

"Tess, eh?" Lanbar said standing there thinking for a moment. "So...there's a...Dead Ma-...Er, Woman in that group. And why are you so interested in her?"
"Didn't Hanzo have a plan?" Mira said, trying to remember what he was told.
"Hanzo's a bloody moron. If he has a plan, we're all doomed." Zarani scoffed. "And I just am interested in her, mate."
"But he's really smooth, which is why I even mentioned him in the first place. Other than that, yes, he is a bloody moron."
"Yeah, and I think Hanzo's plan isn't going to succeed because it should be morning soon." He said looking over to the sun that was supposed to be rising over the horizon. ...Strange...It should be morning. He took a glance at a near-by clock. And even more strange...It's still not past mid-night. I wonder what's going on... "And would you happen to have your own plan to get Tess to come here?"
"I've got some resources I could spare."
"Of course... I don't..." He said, staring at the ground once again. "I'm sure she'll find her way here somehow... After all, it's a romantic party." He said, looking out over the city of Scalus, his eye still searching the area.
"You know...That's got me thinking..." Lanbar started putting his hand to his chin. "Why in the world did we choose Scalus, land of soldiers and power, of all places to have our Valentine's party?"
After a dance, Trin and Venice went over to the others. Venice went to the candy booth and got a chocolate first, however. When they reached them, he tossed the sugar at Tanbar. If he had been happy before, he was purely euphoric now. He put his arm around Trin's waist.
"Mate," Zarani started. He stared out over the city for a moment. "I have no bloody idea."
Tanbar spied the candy and lunged for it and ate it happily.
"Well...I suppose it was pretty useless to ask that question to you." He said with a shrug. "...Hey, I think I got an idea to get Tess over here...but it might be risky."
"I'm all ears, mate." He said, averting all his attention to Tanbar.
"Well," Lanbar started off making sure nobody else was trying to listen. "If those Dead Men...and Woman can sense us using the power of the gems...Then we just borrow the Scale gem for a little bit, lure Tess here, and there you go! You get the girl...Of course there is still the case of accidentally luring one of the other Dead Men here..."

Then, Max slipped on a record, and a very familiar song began to play.

She has on a black ankle-legnth dress slitted on both sides, a silver necklace, the same caramel complexion as Jas, but what stands out the most are her golden eyes, dog ears, claws/fangs, and tail. "Might as well do what I can..." The person sighs, then look at Zarani. "Who are you?"
Zarani sat stunned, staring at her for a moment. He leapt to his feet, and held out a hand. "I am the great Captain Renge Zarani, love. And you are?" He asked her, his face turning slightly red.

Lanbar walked around trying to keep his earlier oath to stay away from the alcoholic drinks. Tanbar, too, was trying to stay away from where his new addiction was, the candy.
What was that? Mira asked himself, wondering if he actual heard something this time.
Zarani led her out to the dance floor and then hesitated. "Erm... Love, I don't s'pose you know how to slow dance, savvy? I never really learned..." He said, slightly embarrassed.

Alissa giggles and hugs Mira.
"I can teach ya," Keisha says, grinning, a fang showing. She puts Zarani's hands around her waist then puts her own around his neck. "All you gotta do is relax and move," the woman says softly.
Tanbar takes a glimps of Christy walking up to him but ignores her figuring she's heading for another guy. Meh...she's probably got her eye on someone else.
Mira's mask was about to turn red. Not this time. Mira's mask reduced the amount of red on it. He then hugged Alissa back.

Zarani began to move too, relaxing as best as he could.
"Hah, poor Tanbar." Hanzö laughed.

"You never did tell me why you're around here," Keisha says, swaying a bit.
Christy jumps on Tanbar's back. "Hi!"
Tanbar looks over to Hanzo with a confused face but then suddenly knows what he's talking about when Christy jumps on Tanbar's back. He almost falls over but manages to balance himself. "Um...hi?"
Meanwhile Lanbar was watch and was trying his best to hold back his laughter. Although this is hilarious having Christy go after my brother, I can't help but feel a little sorry for him.
"Candy?" Christy asks giggling. There's evidence she's hopped up on candy. "Doyoulikecandy?Ilikecandy!CANDYCANDYCANDY!"
"Oh...really?" Tanbar said with a little smile forming.
What the hell? He's...smiling!? Lanbar was confused at this. I doubt anything good will come out of this...

"Mhmmhmmhm!" Christy nods her head ridiculously fast.

"Well then...Do you think you could grab me some?" Tanbar said. Since I've been..banned from the table, maybe she could get me some.
"So have you been enjoying the party so far?"
"Yep!" Christy runs off, then comes back a few seconds later... but it doesn't look like she has any candy with her.
"I have," Alissa says. "Especially since I've been hanging around you."
Tanbar greedily ate the meager amount of candy. "Do you think you could get more?" He said with his speech getting faster.
"I can agree there..... Oh wait, no, the other way around..... Person wise, you instead of me."
Zarani shrugged a small bit. "I'm not too sure either. I just thought I'd come and visit for Valentines. Good choice too, savvy? I got to meet you."
Christy runs off, and returns with a bunch of candy. She gives some to Tanbar, and starts chowing down too.
"It's okay, I know what you mean," Alissa says smiling.
"Valentine's," Keisha murmurs to herself. "This is probably, if not the best way I can spend the little time I do have."

Tanbar took the candy with glee. "Sweet!...Literally!" And then he began eating the candy.

Hanzö's look of laughter turned to horror as he watched Tanbar and Christy began to chow down on candy.

"Very well." Mira moved his mask to the side of his face.

Harver looks back at Jas, and smiled. "And why stop?" He leaned forward and kissed her back.
"Perfect..." Hanzö whispered.

Hanzö then embraced and kissed Serenity with a passionate force.
Serenity is taken of guard, but ends up returning the kiss.
"Then what was you doing wearing a mask?" Alissa asks curiously.
Jas doesn't bother answering, and keeps the kiss going instead.
"I just like this mask."
Harver continued kissing Jas, lost in romantic bliss.
"Oh, okay," Alissa says. "At least I know now... You don't have to keep it off because of me."
Jas pulls Harver closer without caring about anything else.
Harver did not know that the distance between him and Jas had closed, but he didn't care about it. He could only think about her, and only her.
"Of course, love. It'd be a shame to leave someone as wonderful as you trapped, savvy?" He looked around the ship. "It seems things are heating up in here." He commented.
"That was the whole reason I took it off."

"Or both," Alissa watches glitter and hearts fly off her friend as she spins.

And as if on que of Alissa's thought, Tanbar jumps onto the dance floor with Christy and joins her.
"YAY!" Christy grabs onto Tanbar and starts spinning faster.

"Woohoo!" Tanbar was at his pinacle of his hyperness right now as he spun faster.
"Too late, everybody, on'tday reathebay inay asgay!" Hanzö jumped up and threw down a smoke ball. A purple smoke emitted from the tiny ball and towards Christy and Tanbar.
"That guy is getting to be annoying. He had a great plan to get your friend and her date together, but now, he's just being annoying."
"Be quiet ninja boy!"
Mira turned his head to face Hanzo. "Seriously, what kind of 'superhuman ninja' gets impatient and wastes his tools on people he finds annoying? If you really were 'superhuman', and a true ninja, you wouldn't be annoyed. At the very least, you should be wise enough not to waste your tools."
After what felt like an eternity for him, Harver pulled away from Jas slightly. He whispered something in her ear. "You know I love you, right?"
"That is because those are my baby tools, and superhuman ninja, yes I know sounds odd, but this is a party, and I don't want anybody hurt or crazed up, and these people will ruin it. I just try to make it good for everybody, but if you don't like it, then lets spar, I bet we'll see who will settle the score."
"If you think you will hurt people, then it shows you cannot control your 'powers', and therefore, weak. If you cannot control your 'powers', then you aren't as strong as you say, true or not. In the mean time, I shall continue to dance with my dance partner. I suggest you do the same."
"Now hold up, I said not hurt from the crazed/drunk/hyper couple blowing up everything ninja boy! If you dare question the full potential of my powers, then let's take it to the sparring arena shall we Mira? If no, then stop questioning what I do and keep dancing and have fun."
"You and your explosives are ruining it for me at the very least. I can't speak for anyone else, for I cannot read their minds." Or can I...? Nope, I have not had any conclusive evidence to support such powers. "Besides, the closest thing to explosions I've seen were from you. To me, those two are having a great time. If they bump into you, you deal with it by avoiding them, assuming you have such powers."
"You know, I'd also say that your explosives are also going to ruin that couple's good time too by the looks of it." Lanbar said walking over to the two talking. "And the only person I'd see blowing anything up would be you."
"Fine, just don't come crying to me when they start going super hyper..." Hanzö stormed out of the room, and headed over to the sparring room.
What do they know...
"Okay...we won't." Lanbar said as Hanzo left. He then turned to Mira. "Sheesh, what's his problem?"
Meanwhile, Tanbar took Christy and danced off to another pert of the dance floor which was, luckily, away from the smoke from the bomb.
"I'm not sure, he's been like that ever since I met him." Hello? Is anyone there? Dammit! It happened again! Mira shook his head, looked back at Alissa, and continued to dance.
"Yeah..." He saw that Mira was dancing with his partner again. Well...I might as well go and... So he turned around and went to where there was a group of girls and started to flirt with them.
"..." Jas throws a half-empty can of pop at the two hyper people in attempt to knock them out.
"Everyone seems to knock out the hyper couple. Should I do something about it?" Mira asked Alissa.
Christy is hit upsde the head. "OW! Okay, okay!" She takes her spinning to a less crowded area.
"Nevermind, it's taken care of." Mira continued to dance. Is it me, or is this song going on for an unusual amount of time?

Hanzö drifted back inside, standing by the refreshment table.
"Huh? Oh! I was talking to the new guy. I must have forgotten to the look the other way, and I think I know why." Mira concluded, with a hint of smoothness in his voice, as he grinned at Alissa.
"Oh?" Alissa giggles. "Tell me why."
Serenity puts a hand on Hanzo's shoulder. "Hey..."
"It was too sudden of me, though. We've only just met, love..." Zarani continued.
"Why baby," Mira took Alissa's hand and used it to twirl her around, then made her lean back, as Mira had his arm wrapped around her back, as to keep her from hitting the floor ((Mira is aligned with Alissa at this point)). "It's you." Mira grinned, if he wasn't already.
"Ooh!" Alissa can barely control the fit of giggles she's going into.
"Then... take it slow," Keisha says, gradually trying to get Zarani to dance with her again.
Mira moved closer to Alissa's ear and whispered "so how's it hanging?"

Jas absentmindedly starts stirring some water up in a spiral.

Harver walked to Jas, and kissed her lightly on the lips. He then pulled apart. "I've made my decision, and I think it's best for the both of us if we-!"
Instantly, a portal opened up on the deck, and Lord Kerow stepped out. "Harver! We must get back to our planning."
Shit!! And it couldn't be at a worse time. "I'll be right behind you," he said, and Kerow turned around, and went into the portal. "I guess my decision was made for me. It's up to you, Jas, to keep the crew from falling apart. I don't know why, but I think that since we both think what we're doing is right, we can't have a possible failure." He began to walk towards the portal, when he turned around.
"One more thing. You might want to look behind the gem on the ring. I love you." With that, he was gone.

"Something doesn't feel right..... As if something we did fell apart in some way...." Mira scratched his head.
"And you guys are in more of a mess than I thought," Alissa says, spotting what just happened.
"But-" Jas started to reach out, but she sighs and starts heading for her room.

"You mean the guy who took Jas' date?" Mira said, looking in the direction of the event.
"Ouch, well, the best thing is that Harver loves her, and will be back for her soon. I don't mean to break up the conversation but, something's wrong with the sky...it seems...brighter...or it might be just me."
"Forget the spellbook, my deduction was correct." Mira bit his thumb. "Since Harver cannot be with Jas any longer, Jas has no reason to keep the party going, therefore, she ended the effects of the spell."
"But.....I would like to spend more time with Serenity, because, if my calculations are correct, our love and relationship with our couples will.....perish." Hanz? said, whispering the last word.
"Then walk her home. Does she live in Scalus? You can talk along the way."
"Good idea, for once Mira, I'm beginning to understand you, your not half bad after all."
"It won't perish," Serenity says, now dragging Christy along. "Even if we move on, that love and relationship will stay. I have a feeling that we're not supposed to be here in the first place. We're leaving, but you'll see us again."
Alissa smiles sadly, then goes to Serenity and Christy's side. "Sun's coming up anyways, and we gotta go back to Crescent. Can't get into trouble."
"Hm?" Jas stops in the middle of the path to her room. "Thanks you guys," she hugs her three friends, and then steps back so they can leave the ship.
"And we thought you would bash our heads in," Alissa laughs. "You're welcome Jasi," she and Serenity blow kisses to their dates as they leave.
"This has been the best night of my life so far." Mira said randomly, fairly spaced-out.
"Nngh," Jas shuts her eyes tightly as beams of sunlight reach the deck, a sudden, sharp pain running through her head. "Going to my room now," she disappears below deck.
