Has anyone here bought left4dead? You can pre-order it on steam and play an early demo. You can also wait for the free demo on the 11th and the actual game comes out the 18th

Anyone here play it?
i exploited a glitch in the gamestop website and got a free key.
the demo is amazing.
Yeah I can't wait for the full game. I was playing left 4 dead on team fortress maps.
I did the GameStop glitch too but the next day the site said "Oh sorry, we don't have any keys left. D:" I torrented it but I haven't played it. I'll download it tomorrow so I can play online since the demo goes public tomorrow.
I have it :)
I'd like to get it, but my laptop can't run it very well. :(

Ditto.

i bought it on launch date.
awesome game.
Guys who still have the demo installed but havent bought the game:
Add non steam game> browse to steam\steamapps\common\left4dead demo\ and add left4dead.exe
You can play single player in the demo still
or you can browse to it with windows explorer.
No online though.
I bough the game and love it, personally.

That would have been nice to know before I cleaned out my old steam files.
I'd love to get it, but my laptop can barely run it. :(

it runs on my computer far better than TF2 does, due to Duo Core support.
TF2 runs better for me, I just need a new video card.
me and some friends were trying to do dead air on expert, and we spent most of the time on the third chapter of dead air.... game's so hard D: D: D:
I never found expert to be all that hard. Easy and normal are a joke and advanced is easy. Although this is all based on experience from the demo.

Yep.
The second part of the demo is cut short. it's a lot longer in the full game.... The rest of the map is still in the demo, but you have to noclip to get what's in the full version normally....
GUYS. YOU CAN STILL DOWNLOAD THE DEMO.
Open an internet browser and copy this into the url:
steam://install/530
it should just be steam://install/530
not http://steam://install/530....
it will download on steam, but you won't be able to launch it from steam. To launch the demo, go to my computer>local disk>program files>steam>steamapps>common>left 4 dead demo> left4dead.exe or whatever the exe is called....

Love you <3
in dead air 3 on expert, we jumped the wood barrier, except one of us, who couldnt do it and got smoked, so we left him behind. :P
we actually made it to the finale without all dying...
but then we got completely owned every time and gave up :\
still trying to do death toll on expert
Yup, I have it. It's an amazing game. I had never had so much fun with friends in a co-op game. Definitely the best co-op game of all time in my opinion.
I'm still trying to get Dead Air and Blood Harvest completed on advanced.
I'm getting L4D today as a late Christmas gift from my uncle. I'm surprised I was able to wait this long. :)
