I don't listen to other music while playing video games...I listen to the music in the game because it's there for a reason >_>

I feel that listening to your own music instead of the game's (with some obvious exeptions like Excite Truck) is an insult to the game's creators.


As for my favorite battle music...I really love "Dancing Mad" from FFVI, "Final Bowser" from SM64, the final boss from Rez (forget the name D: ), ...so many...

"Dancing Mad" from FFVI

Tier 2 and 4 of that are absolutely amazing.

I also love the battle music in the MMX series, or at least the first 4 of them. The first fights with Sigma in X1 and X4 had pretty awesome themes.

And of course, the first theme during the final battle with Gigyas in Earthbound is also amazing...
