1. At the end of the Death Note credits in the anime it says Shonen somewhere in it.
2. Death Note is in the Shonen Jump Manga.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but Shonen is a genre. I know there's a magazine called Shonen Jump, but the genre is stuff like DBZ, Bleach, Naruto, ect. Lotta fighting, low quality writing, and filler out the ears. I didn't see any stuff like that in what I saw of Death Note.

Oh...you were talking about the genre itself. Okay. I thought you ment the manga reference. I'll look into those videos.
