Friend sent me a link about a rumored Bill that Lieberman proposed that would grant the Feds power to shut down the internet "in a time of emergency". Wow Lieberman, and you wonder why so many people hate you. Oy...

There was a similar bill to this that was shot down sometime a year or two ago which would have granted the president emergency powers to shut down certain websites. Bottom line is that everyone should be calling their congresspeople and making sure that poop like this doesn't get passed.
