This RP was originaly FearItselfs. This is not my story. She left and the topic ( sort of) died. I have revived it for our newer RP members, so they are not intimidated to sign-up.
The era of Ash, Misty, Brock, May, Dawn, and the rest of 'em has long since passed, along with the originals themselves. With the passing of time and the continual beat-down of the evil orginizations by the twerps themselves, the regions began to grow seemingly peaceful, feeling as though the threats were now miniscule because those troublesome evil orginizations could be beaten down by mere children. That happened to be only a false sense of security.
Team Rocket, Team Magma, Team Aqua, and especially the more advanced Team Galactic all thrived in their home regions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. Despite being beaten down so many times, their evil productions continued, and they started to harvest Pokemon for their growing "armies" in this secrecy. But, what good would harvesting Pokemon do without harvesting trainers to train them as well?
As the four orginizations realized that each of the four of them were aiming for the same goals of regional domination and total control over the world of Pokemon, they started to join forces. Not necessarily combining, but creating alliances. Yes, even Team Magma and Team Aqua settled their land and water differences in order to be able to join to influence both.
Team Galactic began the pursuit of new trainers in none other than Professor Rowan's laboratory. They didn't interfere with Rowan's procedures of handing out Pokemon to sprouting new trainers, but they certainly had influence afterward. As Team Galactic's influence grew, they began to position hidden stations along the routes that the new trainers began traveling on. Thus, the harvesting began. Team Galactic started offering new trainers membership, and their orginization grew.
Of course, old habits die hard, and the other three grew jealous. Over time, as well, Team Rocket, Team Magma, and Team Aqua set stations in Sinnoh along their own designated routes, with main headquarters in different cities. Team Galactic's headquarters was, of course, in Veilstone City; Team Magma's in Jubilife City; Team Aqua's in Canalave City, and finally Team Rocket's headquarters is in Eterna City.
Thus, the secret trainer harvest began. Which side will you join? Rocket, Magma, Aqua, or Galactic? Or will you choose your own path? As the roleplay drags on, it may be more and more difficult to walk the path alone. With the more influence the evil organizations are having over the region of Sinnoh, the human mind can't help but give in. Will you?
General Rules
-Please use punctiation, spelling, and grammar to the best of your ability. Type in complete sentences, use capitals for proper nouns and whatnot, and use quotes around speech (no asterisks ** around actions, either.).
-You know very well that you can't have more than six Pokemon in your party, even with one out of its Pokeball. You can, though, have other Pokemon in your PC, not with you. You can interchange them during the roleplay if you wish.
-Be reasonable when finding Pokemon in the wild, on routes, in forests, etc. Obviously, you wouldn't find Golem on the route south of Snowpoint, would you (Though for some reason, you can find Machoke there...).
-Pokemon from all regions are acceptable. No made-up Pokemon.
-Fight battles between trainers and battles between wild Pokemon fairly. Don't do the whole fight in one post and not even give the other person you are roleplaying against a chance to fight back. Take turns with attacks, or something similar.
-No, we will not be keeping track of levels here. That's too tedious. If you're wondering on when your Pokemon evolves after a couple battles, use your better judgement. I'm trusting you to know better.
Character Profiles
For now, everyone here is a beginning trainer, just starting from Professor Rowan's laboraty and making your way towards your first Pokemon-filled traveling route.
Here is the profile you must fill out for your character. As of now, evil Team members will be roleplayed when they're needed, but right now, our trainers are pretty much just starting on their Pokemon journey, getting used to battling, maybe fighting in a few gyms, etc.

((Well...This is a really exciting start...XP I guess I'll start.))
Zaroff was getting out of bed and getting dressed sleepily...Until he saw what day it was.
"WHAT! I was supposed to get up yesterday!...Maybe I shouldn't have tried to go without sleep for the week...Oh! Right!" He finished dressing, combed his hair, brushed his teeth, rushed downstairs and grabbed a breakfast before running out to Prof. Rowans house.
Wow. I know I do plenty of stupid things but this ones the worst one yet!
Martin woke up groggily. He was used to getting up real early. But today seemed different. Then he realized why. HE WAS GETTING A POKEMON!!!!!
He sat up, got out of bed, got dressed, brushed his teeth, etc. And went down to professor Rowan's house.
Zaroff got his Riolu that he asked for and turned around and saw Martin coming. Hm...And I thought I had pretty strange clothing.
Martin stared at the strange boy, then quickly turned away. Not wanting to start a conversation.
He entered the lab. He recieved his pokemon, and went back outside. He went to a remote area, where no one was. He let out his pokemon.....
"Hm...I suppose I check on my Riolu." He tossed the pokeball and out came the Riolu.
"Rio!" It said with excitement.
"You know, I can just tell that we are going to be the best of friends!" He said giving a warm smile.
Martin opened the pokeball.
Out came a Shiny blue Zangoose. He was startled that he had received a shiny pokemon. He reached out pet him. The Zangoose watched carefully. Somewhat...Confused at why this human looked like another Zangoose.
As Martin's hand reached out to touch him, the Zangoose pulled back slightly. Martin, was startled. But he tried again. This time the zangoose was reassured, the human seemed about as shy as himself.
This time, he was able to pet him and it seemed as though they would get along.
"Well...I suppose we should head toward the next city." He siad raising his pokeball to take back Riolu. But Riolu quickly jumped onto Zaroff's shoulder. Okay...I'll let you stay there. He smiled and headed on his way.

Zaroff and his Riolu came across a wild Raltz. "Hey, that's one of those Psychic pokemon. He should do good with us." He gave a nod to Riolu for him to attack so Riolu jumped off his shoulder and used a quick attack on the Raltz.

Today's the day all the trainers go for their Pokemon... Jake thought. He already had one, but he needed to get his Pokeballs and Pokedex from Professor Rowan. So, Jake got out of bed, took his shower and put his black jacket on with jeans. He went over to Rowan's place.
"Hello, Prof. Rowan. Can I have my pokeballs and pokedex?" Jake asked, pushing through the crowd so he could get on the road quickly.
"What about your Pokemon?" asked Rowan.
"I've already got one," Jake beamed pointed at Growlithe, who strutted at Jake's side proudly. Prof. Rowan nodded and handed him his 5 pokeballs and pokedex.
"Not many trainers come here
just for the Pokedex and Pokeballs. But, that means an extra supply!" Rowan exclaimed. Jake just nodded, attached the balls and pokedex to his belt and left.
"Time to live the adventure..." Jake said outloud as Growlithe barked in agreement.

Kyle walked down the street, his new Pokemon in a pokeball attached to his belt. Alongside it were five other pokeballs, and in his pocket was a Pokedex. He walked into the plains, seeing if any strong Pokemon were around for him to catch.
Jake was itching to get on the road and train Growlithe. He also wanted to catch all the Pokemon he could. As Jake was walking, he saw another trainer up ahead in the plains, searching around. Growlithe noticed him as well, he had picked his nose up and was sniffing curiously.
"Oy!" Jake called out to the other trainer, heading over to him. "Hey, I'm Jake," he greeted, holding a hand out. "And this is my Pokemon, Growlithe."

Zaroff saw Martin and walked up to him. "Hey, I saw you at the Prof's place and we never got to introduce each other." He said with a smile. "I'm Zaroff."
"Rio!" Said the Riolu.
"And this is my Riolu."
"Ah, then you must be a beginner, too," Jake said to Zaroff.
"Hi Zaroff..I'm Martin." Blast was feeling a little nervous with all of the pokemon and trainers around him.
"Wow...you're very lucky to have a shiny pokemon as your fist pokemon." Zaroff said kneeling down and Riolu jumped off his shoulder and walked up to Blast both to get a closer look at Blast. "I heard the odds of getting one were like...1 to 8,000!"
"Yeah..I guess I am pretty lucky..." He said, starting to feel a little less nervous than before.
"Rio?..." Said the Riolu cocking his head to the side at the sight of the oddly colored Zigzagoon.
Blast moved back behind Martin's leg.
The Riolu followed still curious about Blast.
Blast kept on moving back. "It looks like it needs to get used to people and other pokemon some more." Martin said.
The Riolu continued to walk towards Blast and started walking at a faster pace. "Looks like someone's trying to make a friend." Zaroff said smiling.
Blast stopped and looked at the Riolu. A small smile crept along his face.
"Rio!" He said giving a smile that said 'now we're getting somewhere'
"And it looks like he's just about succeeded, too!" Zaroff said.
Martin smiled also. "It may be a bit sudden, but do you want to battle?" Martin asked.
"What? Right now?" Zaroff said thrown back by this. "Um...yeah...Maybe not now. I need to go to...um...what was the next city?"

"Okay. Thanks. Bye now!" He said grabbing Riolu and running off. Whew. That was a close one. I almost forgot the aspect of fighting other trainers.
Strange guy......Oh well. "Let's go." He said to Blast, as he started walking towards Sandgem.
Zaroff and Riolu ran past Sandgem Town and headed straight for Jubilife City. He couldn't wait to get to the big city. It'd be his, and Riolu's, first time there.
When Martin and Blast got to Sandgem, they went to the store to buy some supplies, then they went on their way to Jubilife.
Zaroff and Riolu were awe struck once they reached Jubilife. "...Wow."
"...Rio."
"...Well we're not getting that first gym badge just standing around, let's go back and train some." Zaroff said letting out his Raltz and headed back on the path they came.
Martin decided to train some more before he reached the big city.
He started combing the grass for some pokemon he might be able to catch.
Zaroff had Riolu and Raltz battle eachother to build up stamina and experience in fighting. He noticed that his Riolu was much more eager to fight while Raltz was more defensive but less willing to attack.
Martin was searching for a long time, until he found a wild Budew.
He decided to try and catch it.
Zaroff took his two pokemon back to the Pokecenter to heal them. "You did good you two."
"Rio!" He said with a smile.
"..." The Raltz didn't say anything but he had a small smile on his face.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn.Boogie awoke with a start off of his couch. He looked around groggily before noticing a pokeball and a pokedex on the coffee table in front of him. There was a note attached to it.

Martin went up to the budew. It turned around and stared at him as if it wanted to battle.
Martin then gave the command, "Blast! Use scratch!" Blast ran up to the budew and used swiped at it, the budew jumped aside and used absorb, "Dodge, and use quick attack!" Blast dodged the attack and quickly dashed at the budew, the attack knocked it off balance, it fell to the ground.
Martin quickly threw a pokeball at it. It started wiggling. Once, Twice, Thrice, until it finally stopped, and gave beeping noise to confirm the capture.
"yes!"

IC// Will got out of bed and wearily got ready. Soon, he emerged from his house and ran as fast as he could to Professor Rowan's. In several minutes later, he was out again, staring at the Pokeball he held in his hand. He released the Buizel contained within the sphere and started walking, Buizel following.
"I think I'll call you Pantalaimon," he said as he walked.
"Bui?" squeaked the Pokemon inquisitively.
"Pan for short," he said with a smile.
The Pokemon seemed to think about this for a moment before leaping into his arms.
"Bui! Bui!" he squeaked.
"Glad you like it," said Will. They continued on the path to Jubilife.

Just before reaching the city, Will took Pan from his Pokeball again and trained against wild Starly. Pan easily defeated the wild Pokemon and soon, they stopped showing up.
"Good work," commented Will. After that, they stopped to rest against a tree rather than immediately going to the nearby city.

Jubilife City.
Boogie had always dreamed of coming here.
The streets were packed and everyone was rude. It wasn't like he had imagined. He wanted to pass through as soon as he could, but he stopped in the Pokemon Center first.
Martin walked into Jubilife.
He was amazed at the scenery and all of the buildings.
First thing he did was go to the pokemon center to heal his pokemon.
Zaroff saw Martin and waved to him. "Hey, how're you doing?"
Martin saw Zaroff. "Oh, hi! I caught a budew! I'm just waiting for it heal."
"Nice." Zaroff said. "I got a Raltz."
"Nice! So, I was gonna see some of the sights, and find out where the gym leader is. You?"
Will awoke from a short nap and noticed Pan snoring on the ground beside him. He returned the slumbering Buizel to his Pokeball and went into town to find the Pokemon Center.
"I have a Buizel," said Will. "Pantalaimon's his name. Pan for short."
"Abra, huh? I hear they can be pretty powerful."
"Sure. I was headed there anyway."
"No. I know how to catch Pokemon. Weaken, Pokeball, repeat."

Martin's pokemon were done healing, and he left. "Bye Zaroff!" Martin said.
"Oh wait." He said jumping up and following Martin after grabbing his pokeballs. "I...guess I wanna come with you!"
"Okay!" He said. "So, let's take a look around."
"Alright then." Zaroff said letting Riolu out and Riolu jumped onto his shoulder. "So, where to first?
"Well, I heard there was a big trading center nearby, and then there was the poketech lab. Which on do you wanna see first?"
"Hm...I say poketech. I don't have that many pokemon to trade yet." He said looking at his Riolu. "What do you say?"
"Rio." Said Riolu with a nod.
"Heh, I thought so."
"Okay, we can go there first." Martin smiled, he heard Lucas speak up, "Sure you can come."
"Well, you know what they say, 'the more the merrier!'" He said adding to Martin's comment. "By the way, I'm Zaroff."
"Well, let's go!" Martin said as he started walking.

"Hello fine people! How may I help you?" He said in a booming voice.
"Umm, we wanted to see if we can get a poketech?"
"OHOHOHOHOHO! Of course! We're having a special event today, you can get a free poketech, IF you can find three clowns in the city who will give you a riddle, answer the riddle correctly, and get a coupon, collect all three coupons, and bring them to me, TO WIN A FREE POKETECH! Are you up to it?"
Martin looked at Zaroff.
"Oh boy! I've always liked riddles!" He said excitedly. "So what are we waiting for?"
"I did it!" Boogie yelled as he crashed through the door of the of the Poketch company.
"Good job!" The man in the suit said as they exchanged their items.
Boogie eyed his new Poketch.
"Woah, someone got one already..LET'S GO!" Martin said as he raced out of the building.
"Wohoo!" He shouted following Martin.
Kyle walked into Jubilife City, having trained his Treecko a little on the outskirts of the town. He walked into the Pokemon Center, and handed the Nurse Joy his Pokeball. When he got his Treecko back, he walked into the Poketch Building. He whispered something into the president's ear, and the man nodded, handing him a blue Poketch. "Thanks." Kyle said, and went to walk out the building.
"So, where do you think the first clown is?" Martin asked Zaroff.
Kyle turned, and saw the others talking. Hmm... should I talk to them, or would it just waste my time?

Kyle looked at the kid. "Kyle. Care for a battle?"
Kyle sighed. "Sorry, but I can only do a one on one. I only have one Pokemon, but I am confidant in her abilities."
"She's a Treecko." Kyle said. "Now prepare to battle."

"Go, Treecko!" Kyle shouted as he took out his Pokeball, and threw it in front of him. Out came the small, green, lizard-like creature.

Ic/ Will walked to the outskirts of town and immediately noticed a female Shinx. As if on cue, Pan leapt out of his ball and attacked with Iron Tail.
"Pan, wait!" cried Will. Pan hit the Shinx hard before backing away to his trainer.

Kyle walked out of the building with his new Poketch on his wrist.
Ooc/ Kirjava seemed more like a Glameow to me. This will probably be Stelmaria. Still undecided.
Ic/ The Shinx seemed rather mad at the sudden attack and unleashed a Discharge attack. Pan instinctively dodged the blasts of blue thunder.
"Use Swift," commanded Will, and the shining stars hit the Shinx, stunning it.
"Wait then again....If I look for these clowns, then I can see more of the city. Zaroff, what do you think?"
Kyle walked out of the city and found Will training. He sat down on a rock, interested. He took out a notepad and began to jot down notes about his techniques. You can never be too careful... I might have to fight him along the road, who knows?
"Well...I say that we take the watches." Zaroff said. "I wanna go see places!"
"Well, okay." Martin took the poketechs, gave one to Zaroff, and put his on his wrist.
"Alright then." He said putting it on. "Let's go now!"
"Okay!" Martin started following Zaroff.
"Alright!" He said boldly walking off and then stopping. "...Um...Where's the next town?" He asked with a nervous smile.
"It's uhh...Oreburgh. And I think it's...in the north." Martin said pointing north.
"Oh...Okay then, let's go!" He said walking in that direction.
He started walking out of the north gate, when he spotted a sign off to the right. He went to read it.

Martin facepalmed.

Umm, let's go the other way." He said as he walked to the east gate.
"Oh...whoops." He said turning around and heading for the other gate.

Ic/ Will noticed Kyle taking notes, but tried to ignore him till the battles end. The Shinx shot several more Discharge attacks.
"Dodge, use Swift, then Iron Tail!" ordered Will. Pan complied, the stars stunning Shinx long enough for Iron Tail to connect. The Shinx fell to the ground and fainted. Will threw a Pokeball, and watched as it gently shook three times before lying still.
"I'll call you... Kirjava," he said quietly. Then he turned to face Kyle. "Eh, hi, I suppose," he said, unsure of what to say.

Kyle nodded again. "I look forward to battling you sometime. But not now, as I think you should heal your Pokemon at the Center in Jubilife."
"Good point," said Will, turning to walk back to the city. "See ya around."
"Bye." Kyle said, and turned his attention to the field. He took out his Pokeball and called out his Treecko. "Let's get to training."
Will made his way to the Center and healed his Pokemon. He then went on to the exit that would eventually lead to Oreburgh.

Age: 13, but looks a lot older, and acts older too.

Personality: (decided I didn't like my first personality) Marth doesn't have too many firends, because he doesn't alk much, but when he does it's beyond what anyone would believe would come out of this boy's mind (in a good way). He's really smart, but thinks a little slow. He will care deply for his pokemon, but won't always show it. The rest ir hard to explain, you'll see once I start, that is, if I am accepted...
History: He's had some troublesome things happen to him, nothing big like Poverty( though he is a bit on the poorer side) or a serious crime, but things that still hit him hard. His firends weren't there for him, so he rejected them. His one true friend moved away when he was young.

Marth walked into Twinleaf Town from the east side, where a man called to him. "Hey, are you new here?" "Yes, I was told to come here to get my first Pokemon." Marth said.
"Oh, that's the next town, Sandgem." "It is? Ok, thanks." he said. Marth started to leave when the man yelled. "Watch out for wild Pokemon!" but Marth didn't here, or didn't care to listen. He left Twinleaf and noticed that the path went straight through some tall grass. He shrugged and kept moving, as he was going through the grass he was nearly ran over by a Pokemon with a rock-solid head. He turned to look and saw a Pokemon with bluish skin and a stone 'cap'. The Pokemon lowered it's head and was ready to charge again, Marth didn't waste time he jumped to his feet and ran, the pokemon right behind him. He saw a break in the trees, Sandgem must be ahead.
Marth ducked, turned, and dove in between a rock ledge and a tree. The Pokemon didn't see where he went and turned to go away. Marth sighed and got up, he looked around. The rock ledge wouldn't be easy to climb, so he looked for another way. All he saw was more tall grass, so Marth turned back to the stone ledge.
Well here goes nothing. Marth thought to himself. He jumped at the ledge and grabbed the top, it wasn't as bad as it looked and was just able to get over it. He stood up and looked ahead, there was Sandgem, with it's beutiful beach.
He entered the town and saw a building with a sign saying:
Pokemon Research Lab.
This must be it. Marth opened the door. He saw so many things, it looked so modern. He saw a man and a woman in white lab coats checking machines on both sides of the room, and an older man working at a desk. The man looked up and saw Marth.
"Ah, so here we have another new trainer." He picked up a clipboard and looked down a paper, and then frowned. "I don't think you'll find me on that list, sir. I never signed up for anything, I was just told to come here." Marth said. "No I don't see you here." "Can I still get a Pokemon?" Marth asked. "Well as long as the Pokemon you chose isn't too high in demand, I think it'll be fine. Now, what Pokmon would you like?"
What Pokemon... Marth hadn't even thought about it, then he remembered the Pokemon he saw on Route 201. Professor Rowan was getting a Pokedex and some pokeballs ready for him. "Can I see that Pokedex?" Professor Rowan handed him the Pokedex and ran a search on the pokemon he saw earlier. A result came up saying" Bagon, the rock-head Pokemon.
"I'd like a Bagon Professor Rowan." "A Bagon huh? A very interesting choice... Yes I do think that'll work. The professor turned to a shelf full of pokeballs. After looking around for a while he picked a Pokeball. "Here you are, son. One Bagon." "Thanks!" Marth exclaimed
((No I don't think you'll find very many Bagons on route 201, but I wanted to make myself an entrance. I won't always roleplay like that, I just did that because again, I wanted to make myself an entrance.))

It is known to-" Kyle shut his Pokedex before it got any further, not caring about the details. An Eevee, huh... could prove to be an asset to our team. "Go Treecko! Use Vine Whip on that Eevee!"
"Tre!" The Treecko shot vines at the Eevee, which grabbed it towards them.

Also, Marth Xero, you might want to split up your posts. That is a huge wall of text, and not a lot of people might want read that. I actually got lost reading it. I do not mean to insult, just giving some criticism.

Ic// Marth was trying to hurry to Jubilife city when a wild Bidoof popped out. Marth was ready this time. "Go! Bagon!" Bagon, who was already out of his Pokeball, just looked at Marth strangely. "Well go!" Bagon took a few steps forward, facing the Bidoof. "Use thrash!" Bagon jumped forward, attacking with lots of force nonstop. The Bidoof jumped out of the way adn tackled Bagon. Bagon just shook off the attack and kept going. When Marth saw that Bidoof was weakened, ready to be caught, he tried to pull Bagon off of Bidoof.
"Bagon, Stop!" But Bagon kept going, until the Bidoof fell to the ground.
"Bagon, why didn't you stop?" Bagon just looked weirdly at Marth, like he was suppossed to know something. Suddenly, Marth's Pokedex turned on and said;

Marth and Bagon kept going until they reached Jubilife city, the first thing Marth saw was a sign that said: Jubilife City: The City of Joy. Marth smiled and said to himself: "I hope so."

Marth walked into Jubilife City. He was amazed, he'd never seen a big city before. He looked at he building to his left, the sign said: Trainers' School, The First Step for Trainers!
Trainers' shool, huh? This should be interesting. He walked into the building, he saw a table, bookshelves, a computer over to the right, and a teacher standing in front of the chalkboard. He went up to the teacher, she said; " You just became a trainer, did you? You should look up topics tht you're not familiar with."
((Oh yeah I'm so original ;)))
The chalkboard listed status effects that might happen to a Pokemon in a battle, the bookshelves were chock-full of Pokemon books and photo collections. Marth looked around a little while before leaving. One of the Trainers there told him a little about Pokemon types.
What type are you Bagon? Marth took out the Pokeball holding Bagon and scanned it with his Pokedex, Dragon type. Wow, a Dragon? Cool. Marth left the school, and went North. He took a left to find a big building, with a sign saying; The Poketch company, Pokemon Watches for the world! A watch? I could use one of those.
He went into the building. There, a man greeted him. "So you would like a Poketch too?" "I don't have any money." "No matter!" The man turned around and came back with an interesting looking thing. "This poketch not only tells time, but can do many other things, but you have to find the right applicaions, and from the right people." The man spoke with a solemn tone, but Marth didn't notice it, or didn't care. He was too glad to have something for free.
He left the building and started walking east, there he saw two boys talking over something.

"Use Tackle!" The Treecko rammed into the Eevee, and it cringed in pain. It fell to the ground, struggling to get up. Now's my chance. He pulled out a Pokeball, and threw it at the wild Pokemon. It quivered for a moment, and then stopped. He walked over to the Pokeball, and picked it up. Heh. Too easy. He stuffed it inside his pocket and continued to train his Treecko.

Marth walked towards the two people, who seemed to be arguing over something.
"Hey, is everything allright?"

Marth watches the two people walk towards the Poketch shop; "Hey you guys don't need those coupons, I had mine for free."

Kyle returned to the Pokemon Center after training his Treecko and his newly caught Eevee. They were extremely tired, as was Kyle. After he got his Pokemon back and newly recovered, he exited the center. He looked up at the sky. The sun was beginning to set. Hmm... I'll need to find somewhere to sleep. He began to meander the city.
"Cool." Boogie said with a smile. "I have an Elekid.
Boogie heard the weird boy about the coupons. "Oh... um... okay. Thanks." He said with a forced smile. Was he trying to trick us? I had to get mine with coupons.
Kyle saw three other trainers talking. Maybe they know something... He casually walked over to them. "Hey, are you familiar with this city?" He asked.
((Btw, he's talking to you guys.))
Marth saw that the kid didn't believe him. "I'm serious, I got mine for free."

"OK. Well," Boogie started, unbelieving. "We have out coupons, so we are good either way."
Boogie noticed Kyle.
"Yeah. Do you need help?"

"Fine then, don't believe me." Marth pats the pokeball containing Bagon. "We needed to do some training anyways."
"I'm from outside of town." Kyle said. "Do you know of anywhere I can stay?"

Marth turned and left, just like that, if they didn't want to believe him, fine let them. He went East, not knowing exactly where he was going. He saw a tunnel opening ahead. A tunnel? hmmm, interesting... He went inside. The cave was a litlle dark at first, being a cave and all. "Go! Bagon!" "Come on out Bagon, look at this tunnel. "Bagon!" Marth and Bagon pushed forward, and soon, a wild Geodude popped out. Bagon, go! Bagon jumped forward to face the Geodude.

IC// "You can stay at a Pokemon Center. Most of them have rooms on the top. I wouldn't do that though." Boogie looked around. To see if anyone was listening. "I heard the teams are operating in the city."

Ic// Any previous thoughts about the two boys were gone, it was now a match. "Bagon, use twister! Try to slow it down." Of course, being rock, the twister didn't do much to the Geodude.
It's not working... dang! The Geodude came and tackled the Bagon. "Bagon! Get back up, use growl!" The growl seemed to weaken the Geodude.
"Ok, now use headbutt!" Bagon lept at the pokemon, head first. The attack hit, but it didn't seem to do much. What's going on? Why isn't anything working? But the fact that Bagon wasn't doing to much damage gave Marth an idea. "Bagon! I think we can safely use thrash now!"
Bagon must've thought so, he started attacking with full force once again.
The Geodude didn't seem to show any sign of weakening, at first. eventually the Geodude slowly started weakening, and it knew it too. It jumped away from Bagon's attack, and started to glow a bit. The glowing stopped and the Geodude looked more confident. "Bagon, headbutt!" But Bagon just basically bounced off the Pokemon.
Auh! Now what?! "Alright Bagon, let's try somethign different." We need to get it off gaurd.. "Bagon, use twister, but aim it around the Geodude instead of directly at it." The twister surrounded the Geodude. "Bagon! Now use Headbutt directly into the middle of the storm!" Bagon dove straiight at the storm, the twister dissapeared to show a startled Geodude. The attack hit, knocking the Geodude back quite aways. "Bagon, pull off! Now Go, Pokeball!" Marth through the Pokeball at the Geodude, and the Pokemon dissapeared inside. The ball shook once, twice, and then one more time before stopping.
"Yes! We did it! Bagon,good job, return, you deserve a nice long rest." Well I better take this to the Pokemon Center...
Martin went into the store, and exchanged the coupons for a poketech.
Kyle became extremely attentive. "You mean Aqua and Magma? I wouldn't want to mess with them. Any other ideas?"

Actually, all of the teams. Team Rocket, Magma, Aqua, and Galaxy. They have been seen and may be forming up." Boogie noticed the sudden seriousness in his voice. "
Me and Martin are going to Oreburgh, do you want to come with us?"

Martin sat down to watch.
"Smart." Kyle said, smirking. "Treecko, tackle the Elekid!" The Treecko rushed forward towards the Elekid.
"Elekid, dodge!" Screamed Boogie, though Elekid did nothing, and was tackled to the ground. "Elekid, what are you doing? You gotta dodge!" Boogie said, a little more calm now. "Use cross-chop!" But again, Elekid did nothing. He had a worried, sort of confused look on his face.
"Hmm..." Kyle said, examining the situation. "Either your Pokemon doesn't seem to like you, or its experience is far beyond your own." Then again, there are countless possibilities to what could be happening. "Treecko, use Razor Leaf!" The Treecko gave Kyle a questioning look. It appeared as if she didn't want to attack a defenseless Pokemon. "Use it!" The Treecko nodded sadly, and shot a few leaves at the Elekid.
"Elekid! Do-" But it was to late. The leaves hit Elekid and he fell to the floor. "Alright, you win!"
Boogie ran over to his fallen Elekid. "Why didn't you want to battle, buddy?"
"It's because he doesn't want to fight a friend." Boogie looked up. Professor Rowan was walking towards them.
"I don't understand." Boogie stated calmly.
"You were being friendly with Kyle over here, and Elekid noticed that. He didn't want to harm a friend."
Boogie looked down at Elekid as he gave him a reassuring nod.
Martin was amazed. He wondered if Blast would behave like that.
"Good job, Treecko." Kyle said. The Treecko looked sad, and disappointed in her trainer. "Return." The Pokemon was engulfed in red light, and returned to the Pokeball. Kyle then walked over to Rowan. He bowed his head. "Good evening, Professor-san."
"I'll be right back, guys." Boogie said to Kyle and Martin. "I need to visit the Pokemon Center, then we can head out to Oreburgh."
"Okay!" Martin said.
Kyle nodded, and turned to Martin. "So what's your story?"
"Well...Hmm....I ummm....I don't know what you mean really."
"What I mean, is," Kyle started, scratching the back of his head, "what do you want to do in your life as a trainer, why you're trying to be a champion, et cetera. Basically, your life story."
"Oh, well really. I just wanted to have a pokemon, but I guess I also want to be a gym elader like my dad someday."
Kyle nodded slightly, jotting down something in his notebook. "Interesting. Is that all? Which gym does your dad lead?"
"Well, he DID lead the one in the place with the 8th gym in Sinnoh? I can't remember the name..." Martin shuffled his feet. "Well, he dissapeared one day."
"Ah, the gym in Sunyshore?" Kyle said, more as a statement than a question. "One of the final obstacles between trainers and the Pokemon League. Are you going to look for him?"
"I don't know. The police couldn't find him, maybe I could look for him....But the chances are bleak. He's been missing for years...."

Marth sees one of the boys from earlier walk into the Pokemon Center.
Theres a valid example right there. Marth frowned and got up to leave.
Kyle frowned. "So, you're giving up, just like that?"
"I'm back guys!" Boogie said, returning from the Pokemon Center. "Should we go to Oreburgh now?"
Kyle turned to Boogie, not waiting for a response from Martin. "Sure, as long as you're ready." He said.
Martin thought about what Kyle had said.
Give up? I mean...No but......gah.......
