Not even download. Install steam, make account, "purchase" portal, uninstall everything.

YEah, even if you can't play it now, you can "purchase" it & have it there for whenever you can.

You don't need to install anything, I think you can register on steam's site and attach it to your account without even downloading steam.
Whoo, I can run it amazing. everything on high..... and then I shoot a portal. Better than I was expecting though, I can run it in DirectX 8 just fine without portal lag. Besides, I have TOB for when I'm at home, I'll play this one when I'm away from my Xbox.
I really wish I had seen this before. -_-
I've had Portal forever, but I'd download it in a heartbeat.
Makes me wish I didn't buy it already.
