Hey guys! I was just wondering what everyone's favorite starter from a Pokemon game was.
I would defiantly go with Mudkip. Once they evolves, and is Water and Ground, they are awesome. The only thing that is super effective against it is Grass. Sure, it does 4x, but he also has good attacks like earthquake, and I teach mine Surf.
I also like Torchic, because Blaziken has some pretty good attacks, too.
My personal favorite is Squirtle :)

I've always liked Charmander because its final evolution, especially shiny, is awesome.

Squirtle is my favorite starter because he's the first starter I ever chose back in the days of Red and Blue version. And even after playing as the other starters, I still think that Squirtle is the best. ;)

Well then Eevee might as well be added, as well as all the other starters like Umbreon/Espeon, then even the ones from Mystery Dungeon...

Mystery Dungeon is a different cause.
Pokemon Yellow is a different game with all the same feel as Red/Blue.
While Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is only alike the other Mystery Dungeon.
PLUS, Pikachu was also the first pokemon ash got in the anime. That counts for something, RIGHT?
Fine. Then you still don't have much of a case against Eevee... you start with in in two games (XD, MD) and with it's evolutions in one (Colo.) and Gary in the anime started with it.

That is actually wrong. That just happened to be the first Pokemon Gary was shown to use. If you pay close attention to the members he uses in the Kanto League tournament, he has Blastiose, his first Pokemon, that he recieved by Professor oak. The first episode confirms this, as Professor oak was giving away three starter Pokemon. Four trainers left that day on their journey. Ash was late, and by a miracle, was granted Pikachu.
Sorry for my rant, but I must say, that I was surprised to see that.
*shrug* Guess I was wrong. I haven't seen the anime in years. To be honest, the circuitry in my brain was probably getting confused, because your rival starts with Eevee in Yellow.
Cyndaquil, definately.
I loved Torchic. It was so cute, and it's Fire. I love all the Fire starters, but Torchic will always be my favorite.
I like mudkips. Seriously.

Well, I figured if I added every starter from other games like Colosseum, the list would be huge. Especially since you can be a lot of pokemon in MD. I figured I would leave it at the main set.

I never really had a favorite starter but after DP came out now I do! Piplup FTW! =D
I dunno... I really don't like any of the DP starters that strongly.

I alomst feel sorry for Treeko, Turtwig, and Chimchar. although I cannot change my vote, so I guess I won't worry about it, and even if I could, I wouldn't change it to them.
Mudkip, cause he eventually evolves into Swampert.

I was thinking the same thing last night.Maybe they will get some votes soon.
Anyways, right now it looks like Charmander is winning, though Squirtle and Mudkip are right behind.
