A tall man shrouded in the shadows looks down upon the contestants. He smiled, chuckled really, knowing that they would all be battling it out for a cash prize. He rose from his throne, and announced the tournament would begin momentarily.

This is a dueling RP. You make a character, and duel. This will be a tournament. I will base your acceptance into this RP on how i've seen you act on the RP board previously.

Appearance: Red skin, White hair, Black horns, Wears blue pants, black shoes, a black shirt, and black gloves. Hands have claws. He also has Yellow eyes. 5 foot 11 inches tall.
Bio: Fury's real origin story is way too long. To sum up Fury is the son of an Immortal Fire Demon named Wrath and also has his Father's soul and body sealed inside him. Fury can create Fire blasts and is incredibly strong and quick. He joined the tournament because he seeks to increase his strength and energy even more. Since his father was this infamous Demon Overlord, Fury is constantly a target of other demons seeking to make a reputation for themselves. He hopes one day that if he becomes strong enough people will stop challenging him and he can live in peace with his half-demon girlfriend Zeramus of the Dead.

Bio: He was a soldier in a war that waged across the galaxy. He was accidentally transported to earth. Once he landed a transmitter on his wrist gave a message from an AI he was working for. The AI said he had to win a tournament, then a portal to the planet he was supposed to go to will open up.
He carries a number of weapons. His primary ones include a fusion pistol, a missle launcher, and an assault rifle that shoots grenades.

Oh, right. I forgot to mention, he has 6 katanas, one for each hand, strapped across his back. They are used to finish an enemy off once they are trapped.

Kidomaru looked around at the other contestants, gauging them.
IC:Kai looked at Kidomaru with a evil grin, his swords wanted to taste blood.
Kidomaru returned the glare, unblinking. He noted that Kai would most likely be vicious hn battle, but overconfident.
Kai threw a throwing knife at Kidomaru's face so close to his head but close enough so it wouldn't harm him.
Kidomaru caught the knife in a web.
The soldier looked around at the other contestants.
Hmmm......A strange bunch......I've seen stranger....that one with the knives looks dangerous.....He thought. He rarely talked. Only when needed did he speak.
Kai could control his knifes with thought and in minute it was back in his hand.
The soldier was in the corner sizing the competion up. Knowing the enemy is the key to victory.
Kai laughed, he lifted up his hands and 10 throwing knifes came out his pockets;
he twirled his hands around and the knifes did tricks.
He sat down in the corner and started writing things down on his transmitter. Data about his enemies.
Kai sent the knifes at the transmitter.
His helmet started beeping. It sensed danger. He quickly rolled away as the knife hit the wall.
He pulled out his fusion pistol expecting a fight.
the knifes came back to kai's pockets.
He drew his Falchion
He stood still, waiting for Kai to attack.
"'Will you walk into my parlor,' said the Spider to the Fly," Kidomaru muttered to himself as he sat in the corner, watching the proceedings.

He leaped over Kai and fired his pistol.

Kidomaru shot several webs at Kai in an attempt to restrain him.
Fury leaned against a wall observing this little scuffle.
"And I thought I was the one with a temper problem." he spoke under his breath.
Kai seemed particularly unstable. Fury looked rather anxious to fight him. Suddenly a bolt of Lightning struck the ground mere inches from where Fury stood. A tall pale woman with black bat wings and ebony hair stood where the bolt had struck. Her hair covered her right eye and she was dressed in a long sleeved blue shirt and mid sized purple skirt with black hearts patterned across it.
She smiled as she turned to Fury. He grinned back "I thought you didn't care for tournaments Zera?" Zeramus looked indignant "Just because I don't want to compete doesn't mean I won't show up to support you. What kind of girlfriend do you take me for? Anyway I thought you should know Dimitri is coming to this thing too."
Fury seemed genuinely surprised "Huh....I thought for sure he was dead. Guess it takes more than being eaten by a Frost Dragon to kill that guy. Wait....You didn't bring him back to life because you felt bad for him did you?" Fury eyed Zeramus suspiciously. Now she was miffed "Just because I'm the last Lich, Queen of the Dead, doesn't mean I go around bringing every Tom, Dick, and Harry back from the Grave! Sheesh!.....What's with those guys?" Zeramus pointed to Kai, Kidomaru, and Vid all still enthralled in their skirmish.
Vid put his gun away. No point in starting a fight before the tounament....Besides......I could've used the missle launcher if I wanted.... He walked away.

Darn. I was kinda hoping this would drag out long enough to give me an excuse to blast them all away. Well, if Kai refuses to settle down I can still end up making an example of him.
Kai was eager to fight he saw a demon, he walked out of the way of the webs and glared at demon.
Vid went back into a corner waiting for the tournament to start.

Personality: Strong willed, Determined, holds honor and justice in the highest regards but knows when to relax.
Appearance: 5' 9". Wears a large dark green cloak and metal helmet that covers his eyes and his hair. Only his nose and mouth are not covered by the headgear. He carries the legendary Spear Gugnjir. He also has two pistols. Underneath his cloak he wears baggy blue jeans and a short sleeve gray shirt.
Bio: Dimitri is a Vanguard. Warrior blessed by the Earth's Spirit to act as agent of ethereal balance. He carries with him the memories and experiences of all previous Vanguards making him an expert in multiple forms of combat, and as well as a living library of information. He spends most of his time making sure the world is secure and prevents all forms of evil and wicked creatures from entering the world of men. He joined the tournament as an excuse to fight Fury whom he has received help from in previous quests.

Yeah it turns out the 10th Vanguard was able to control Metal as well so it just took me some focus and I was able to Metal bend my spear Guugnjir to carve a whole into the Frost Dragon's stomach. By the way little girl how are you and Fury getting along?" Zeramus gasped and pulled a necklace from beneath her shirt. Zeramus spoke "We got married! It was wonderful. It was so sweet. The whole thing was held in the Burning Cross! It was great! Gadwin was there, and Lumina, and RZP, oh and the Guardians of Darri Khala too! They really do treat Fury like their family. Oh and Baalbergerith served as Justice of the Peace! Oh the whole thing was fantastic!" Zeramus was acting giddy!
Dimitri seemed surprised "Heh. I've never heard of a Dark Overlord doing a wedding before! Well I would love to keep chatting but I want to see this first fight. Fury, you and I are going in the ring right after these first two."

The man sat back down in his stone chair. "The first two matches will be Vidsoldier against Fury, and Kidomaru againgst Kai. You may enter the doors to your sides, and begin the match."

Kidomaru walked into the arena. It appeared to be a large floating platform in the middle of an endless abyss. To test the depth, he fired a web down. The web fell into the inky darkness. To his surprise, as it faded into the darkness, the same web fell from the ceiling. He leapt down to the platform. Suddenly, flame jets appeared at random intervals on the walls and floor, spewing black fire.
Kai walked in the arena and looked Kidomaru in the eyes. he raised his hands in the air, the throwing knifes rose out his pockets.
Kidomaru watched the knives rising, planning out a strategy to beat Kai already.
he thrusted his palms forward sending the 12 knifes towards Kidomaru.
fKidomaru sidestepped the knives and leapt off the platform. He spun a web that attached to the platform like a rope to stop himself from falling.
Kai sent the knifes to begin cutting the webs.
Kidomaru smiled as his plan went into effect. He fell into the abyss, but as he was engulfed in the darkness, he reappeared at the ceiling and continued falling. He spun a web to get back to the platform.
the knifes came back as Kai drew his falchion.

Kai seathed the falchion and ran to the side, he drew the beam sword and charged at Kidomaru.

Fury took advantage of the free time and held out his arm. "Vulniera! Return to your master!" The blade flew into Fury's open hand.

He was used to such explosions. He got back up. He pulled out his missle launcher and fired two homing missles at Fury.
Kai sliced multiple times at Kidomaru with his beam sword.
Kidomaru backed away before spinning a web into the general shape of a human. He then shot more colorful webs to add clothing and color. He added extra arms and perfected it into his image. Now, he sent invisible webs at it and controlled it like a puppet. The puppet ran forward in an attempt to tackle Kai.
Kai leapt over the puppet and strangled Kidomaru
Unfortunately, Kidomaru was ready for him. As Kai grabbed him, the puppet charged, sending its fists to beat at Kai's head.
Kai stabbed the puppet with his sword hand while still strangleing Kidomaru, he fliped the puppet over kidomaru head and his knifes cut the strings to the puppet.
Kidomaru raised a hand and aimed a web at Kai's eyes.
Kai quickly puched at Kidomaru's head.
Kidomaru caught the punch and twisted the arm.
Kai Procceded to kick Kidomaru in the weak of all upright male species

Ic/ Kidomaru cringed in pain. He recovered in time to deliver a barrage of punches to the gut.

'Time I ended this facade. Evil Rush' He rushed toward Vid but vanished in mid dash. Fury reappeared right in front of Vid. He may have had a lousy punch, but he wasn't weak. He kicked in the groin, and threw his opponent upwards. Then he picked up his MRL, and fired two more missles.

Fury growled "cheap shot. INFERNO!" Fire spat forth and detonated both missiles. Fury dove thru the explosion, fist first. His hand burst into flames as he smacked it directly into Vid's face. "BLAZING PUNCH!" When Vid hit the ground Fury dashed backwards to get some distance. He held his hands closed together and an intense energy built up between them. He took aim at Vid and unleashed a devastating surge of fire screaming "FIRES OF THE CATACLYSM!!!"
VId saw the fire coming at him. It seemed there was no escape. Then he remembered. He activated a sheild that surrounded him. Hopefully it would hold long enough.....
Harver yawned, bored of the matches taking place, and took out his Darkness Tome. Everyone's busy watching the matches... now's as good a time as any. He began scanning it.
Kidomaru dodged and sent gossamer webs all around the arena. The thin, almost invisible threads would be used as part of a new strategy.

The raging fire almost completely engulfed the arena. Fury thought to himself "Crap I can detect his life force. I didn't think he would have the capability to withstand the attack. I could bide my time and let the Cataclysm drain his shielding but that will give him plenty of time to work on a strategy." Fury watched the flames dissipate until the fire only covered the shielded Vid.
Ooc// The Fires of the Cataclysm feed on energy. As long as Vid's shield is up it will continue to burn.

As the shield broke, he put planted a motion sensor bomb on Fury.

Fury was really angry now. He clenched the MSB and it exploded. He was clearly injured but he didn't care. His wounds were trivial. Vid must fall. Vid saw the determination in Fury's face. Fury charged Vid disregarding any openings in his defense. He grabbed a hold of Vid with iron grip. He barked in madness "LAST RESORT! OVERHEAT!" Fury's body began to shine a brilliant white and then His body burst into an enormous fiery explosion. The flames covered the entire arena.
Smoke filled the air. The blaze began to die down. Fury's body reconstituted and he fell to his knees. The fire still burned around the outer edges. "Can't detect his life force. Either he's out cold or that cost more Mana than I thought." Fury panted. He strained to get up. "Gotta stay focused. Vulniera! Come to your master's aid!" The blade flew into Fury's hand again. Fury went to his thoughts 'If he's still alive I'll have to rely on brute strength. Or at least what I have left of it.'
His armor was thrown off and his face was visiable. He was badly scarred and burned. But he wasn't out.
He got up. Weakly, he took hold of his fusion pistol. Surprised it survived, but nonetheless, he took it out. He charged it, and then fired.

Fury deflected the shot but just barely. His mind was racing. 'Drat I only have a few good swings in me before I'm done. Not enough Mana to use any dark magic. Guess it's All or Nothing." Fury leaped into the air and swung down hard at Vid with Vulniera. Overheat had taken it's toll though and Fury was moving slower then usual.
Vid looked up, he leaped away, but he just barely dodged in time. His arm got scratched somewhat.

Vid did stand still, but only to fire his assault rifle, which shot bullets and grenades at the same time.
Kai slashed rapidlty at Kidomarus limbs.
Kidomaru dodged and continued doing so.

Fury sunk Vulniera into Vid's Shoulder as Vid fired off several rounds. Fury was pushed back from the force of the rifle.
Fury and Vid both stood there, almost paused. Fury lacked the mana to heal his wounds and he wasn't sure if Vid's injury would be enough to stop form launching a grenade.
Fury made threw one last punch at Vid and thought 'Man I really hope he can't fire.'
The pain was almost unbearable as the sword went through his shoulder. As the punch came, he gave one last attempt to kill him. He fired a beam from his scouter at his opponents face.

Many shadows left the Darkness Tome, and right when they left, it began to rumble. Harver closed his eyes and inhaled slowly. So, I have to fight soon, huh..? Better finish watching the fights. He walked over to the arenas. I should create a strategy if I ever have to fight them... But all this fighting is, indeed, pointless in the grand scheme of things.

Kidomaru merely dodged out of the way once more.
"Temper, temper," he said with a smile. Kai was headed straight for one of the mear invisible webs he had set in place. Their purpose was about to be revealed. As Kai passed through the web, more transparent webs flew flew at him from various areas on the arena. If all went well, Kai would be trapped, or at least distracted, which would leave him vulnerable to Kidomaru's next move.

'Interesting... Your anger grows," observed Kidomaru. He spun a web that took the general shape of a sword. The web was different from the other webs due to its goldish hue. It hardened into a weapon as hard as any steel. He formed three more weapons for the hands and charged at Kai, all four weapons outstretched.
Harver had put away his Darkness Tome and took out a small notebook and a pen. He was jotting down notes about his competitors.
Kai's body was covered in spikes, he then charged at Kidomaru.

The beam seared Fury's face but it did not kill him. It gouged his eyes and scarred his face. His fist hit Vid all the same. The punch had everything left of Fury's strength. Zeramus-"Yes. We have quit a line up. Some kid is holding a necromancer tome and worse he knows how to use it."
Fury-"Do you know the edition or origin of the book?"
Zeramus-"No I can't get close enough to him without making it apparent I'm after the book. Also there seems to be a Dark Sage among us. But he ain't stupid. He's keeping his mana power and spiritual prowess hidden. And last but not least an Arcane Slime Beast is in the stands. Not sure what his story is. Knowing our luck though..."

He looked at his new "Partner". He gave a weak grin. He pulled it out of his shoulder, and with his last bit of strength, he rushed Fury. He could barely lift it, but to swing it at him.

Fury plunged the blade into Vid's stomach. Fury was trying for Vid's head but being blind affected his aim a little. Fury let go of Vulniera and returned to the task of trying to keep from falling to the ground with his hands and knees.
"Thanks for bringing it back though." Fury chuckled again.
As Vid swung the sword, he fell down. Causing the blade to miss.
He grabbed Fury. The AI sensed what he was going to do.

Anything else would have killed me. But I like you kid. Your darn fine opponent. I'll make you a deal.'
Fury jumped out of the lava carrying Vid's corpse. Victorious. Fury was still tired and his eyes were gouged but it didn't matter. Zeramus appeared on the arena in a bolt of lightning. She held Fury's face with her hands. "Poor baby...don't worry I'll fix you up good as new." Fury smiled "Sure Zera but first I want you to bring this guy back. I like him." Zeramus smiled "No problem." Zeramus began to sing her 'Song of the Dead' and slowly VidSoldier's body was reconstituted. He seemed surprised he was alive. Zeramus snapped her fingers. "Look pal, thru the kindness of Fury's heart are you still alive but there are certain conditions. First since your a zombie you should keep as far away from fire as possible and second you no longer have any sense of taste, or smell and third you can longer grow out your hair. Also I can't tell you how long you will live, as the spell has different effects on different people. And now for you Fury."
Zeramus began her 'Song of the Broken' and began to heal all of Fury's wounds and restored his eyes and removed his scars.
Confused and somewhat upset, he nodded. He lookd at himself. He had no armor, nothing to hide his face, and actually felt like an individual.
He didn't know if that was a good thing.
Suddenly a crackling voice came over his.....transmitter?!
"...CZZZT.....I......AM......S...UR...PRISED......I...HAVE....RECREATED.....Y....OUR......ARMOR.......HERE........"
With a small buzz, there was his armor.
He quickly put it on. It came with a new transmitter aswell.
He walked out of the arena. Unsure of what to do next.
Harver walked up to Vid and Fury. "Impressive." He said.
Vid nodded his head aknowledging him.
Now he had a dillema. HOW IS HE GETTING BACK TO THE WAR?!
Maybe......He could live in solitude......Maybe......
