Dead Men Don't Tell Secrets *EPILOGUE*

Jas pulls the rope back to her, but doesn't put it away. She kneels by Solon. "Prone to falling from high places," and she starts to lift him up.

[THEBIRD]

"Not so fast," echoed a voice. The top of the peak closed, leaving them trapped. "First, we must talk."

[Anarchy_Jas]

Jas mintains her hold on Solon, but a hand reaches for one of her swords.

[THEBIRD]

"I said talk," the voice repeated. "We have matters to discuss."

[Triforce_Luigi]

Venice saw Jas's hand drift to her sword and knew something was wrong. He ran up to the others. "What's going on?" he asked.

[THEBIRD]

((You do realize we are inside the mountain, right? Or did you come along as well?))

[Anarchy_Jas]

"What matters?" Jas asks coldly, hand not letting go of the weapon.

[THEBIRD]

"Have you already forgotten your purpose for this journey?" the deep voice asked.

[Triforce_Luigi]

((You do realize we are inside the mountain, right? Or did you come along as well?))

(um.. Just say I came along and sort of sat there and watched.))

[Anarchy_Jas]

"I didn't forget anything... What's my business got to do with you?" Jas glances around.

[Light]

Harver stood by Jas, ready to back her up if trouble came.

[THEBIRD]

"Keep your tone light. There is nothing to fear... yet," replied the voice. "Why have you come to Nimbuslus Land in search of your jewel?"

[Triforce_Luigi]

"Isn't it obvious? You said it yourself. It's her jewel, therefore, she would probably go after it."

[THEBIRD]

"I am asking why you have chosen Nimbuslus Land, out of all the other possiblities," restated the voice.

[Anarchy_Jas]

"It could be anywhere..." Jas remains tense.
