Also, I fail to see how Zelda will have more reps than Mario, while Mario doesn't gain any newcomers...

I mean from Melee to Brawl.
Mario loses Doc and gains Bowser Jr, resulting in no gain.

I'm pretty sure Sakurai considers Geno 1st party, so he's my guess for 6th Mario Rep.

- Midna?
1. How would she fight? She never fights in TP
2. As a Zelda fan myself I know that you could find better characters, Midna has only appeared in 1 game, why not put in Navi while your at it?
3. Vaati is more important to the series.

- Lack of Wario and F-Zero Characters
For Wario you could add Ashley, Jimmy T., Kat & Ana etc...
F-Zero you could add Samurai Goroh, Black Shadow, etc...

- Kid Icarus should have it's own series
Pit could be accompanied by Eggplant Wizard  :|
And you do realise that most of these franchises are Old School right?

That's a horrible excuse and I absolutely hate it. Just look at Captain Falcon and Fox...
2. As a Zelda fan myself I know that you could find better characters, Midna has only appeared in 1 game, why not put in Navi while your at it?
Because Navi would make no sense at all... At least Midna has arms and legs. About the 1 appearance thing, Ice Climbers would like to say hi.
3. Vaati is more important to the series.
That may be true and in that case, so is Tingle.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Midna in Brawl though, seeing as how Sakurai is focusing on TP more.

For Wario you could add Ashley, Jimmy T., Kat & Ana etc...
Wario does not need anymore characters...
All other characters are pretty much insignificant and there are much more worthier Nintendo characters than those.
F-Zero you could add Samurai Goroh, Black Shadow, etc...
O_O...Samurai Goroh has been confirmed an AT for quite some time now...
Black Shadow should be added though

- Kid Icarus should have it's own series

2. Navi just tells you about the enemy not actual inflict pain upon them
3.Sakurai is focusing more on TP.
