How I think Lucario's name became made

I'm not trying to say this is how it was made but here's what I think. The Lu in Lucario's name sounds as if it were from the Lu in Luigi's name, while the Ario in his name sounds as if it were from the Ario in Mario's name. So what exactly is it that I'm trying to say? Simple. Just combine Luigi's with Mario's name but replace the M w/a C and you get Lucario's name.
