A gentle, almost tender touch of two fingers was registered by the nerves at the back of Shaelyn's neck. The fingers moved to the left, a hand resting itself gently on her shoulder.

"Go on..." Came Aeon's voice. It was soft, hypnotically so. "I'm sure you'll do fine."

"But... I have horrible stage fright..." Shaelyn explained. Even the sight of a stage made her nervous. She got nervous when she had to do solo acts, and heck, she even got nervous watching someone else do a solo. She was pathetic.

Nik rolled his eyes. "Shaelyn. You have a nice voice, and I'm sure you'll do great. But, if you don't want to go, don't be pressured into it." He said, looking at Mike.

"How are you going to overcome it, then?" Aeon asked, keeping his tone soft and reassuring. "Go on. Mike's already up there. Just go and sing..I'll bet you'll be fantastic."

"Huhhhh.......Fine......" Martin figured, the people would probably laugh. Even if he didn't sing this song.

He got up on stage, and pressed a button. He had practiced this song in his room, and has gotten quite good at it.

mike jumped off the stage and cheered martin on.

Martin finished the song. He was blushing, but he also had fun.

He got off the stage.

"Your turn Shaelyn."

Shaelyn sighed a deep sigh, her hands trembling. She made her first step towards the stage, then it seemed like the other steps were just that much easier afterwards. She finally reached the stage, still as nervous as ever, and began to shuffle through the songs on the karaoke machine. Shaelyn flipped through stage tunes and finally found the category of RENT songs, choosing "Take Me Or Leave Me" as her performing song. It was a mixture of all the genres she loved, and it was a fun song to sing too. Hopefully she'd loosen up enough to sing it.

Shaelyn took time during the instrumental at the beginning to take in deep breaths. She used the technique where she imagined she was singing at home with no one else around, as she was used to. Fairly soon, she started to loosen up, and just in time. A smirk grew on her face as she began singing just as the instrumental introduction ended.

She almost looked like a natural on stage, though she was the complete opposite. A true rocker at heart, she made motions with the music, especially at the humorous parts of the lyrics. Hopefully she wasn't making a fool of herself.

"Good voice..." Aeon thought to himself. Anzu had jumped off of Shaelyn before she made her stage debut, and landed on Aeon's.

"Good to see you again..we're in," Aeon whispered.
Anzu nodded, and smirked, looking up at Shaelyn, and smiling at her.

Aeon also looked back up at Shaelyn with his hypnotic eyes, a smile on his face as he watched her perform. And she had stage fright..heh.
