At least /mu/ has more than a basic understanding of what makes a genre

there's almost always at least one metal thread on the front page. granted, your brand of death metal is not very popular, but sludge/stoner/doom is huge, black metal's still pretty big, as well as metalcore/deathcore and a bunch of progressive poop.

Yeah, I guess I just haven't been on there in a long time. Back when I frequented there the most popular metal was poop like Between the Buried and Me. Back then, Black Metal threads were joke threads with links to the ridiculous music videos. Don't tell me they actually take it seriously.
