Introduction:
Welcome to the first "Official" (I guess I can't say official since I'm not staff, but hell whatever) NSFCD Pokemon D/P/Pt Tournament!
This will be a Single Elimination tournament, with best of three matches and three Pokemon per player. Players will be allowed to switch Pokemon between battles.
Rules:
* No Ubers (see list at bottom)
* All battles will be set to level 100.
* Disconnect = Match forfeit, unless the opponent is OK with a second chance.
* No more than one of any Pokemon per team.
* No more than one of any hold item per team.
* Sleep/Freeze Clause (only one Pokemon can be frozen/asleep per team at a time)
* If both players Pokemon faint at the same time, the attacking side loses.
* Players must communicate and coordinate to sure their matches are complete by the announced date. If either player makes themselves unable to battle, they will be disqualified.
* After every battle, at least one of the players must write a brief summary about it's events. At the very minimum, describe who won. I'd prefer more details to the battle, though.
* No hacked Pokemon. Please report suspicious play.

Hah, my DS is turned off and I'm going to bed now. But of course, that's what so great about Electrode. He's fast, and no one really cares if he dies :D
Oh, and despite how that worked out, I'm assuming we're both expected to use the same teams when we fight for real?

Perhaps, this is what kept him from rising above his mighty opponent. blah...blah...blah... thunder punch, thunder punch, thunder punch, thunder bolt, psychic, psychic, win.

Well, once if you win again.
Best of three means two of three.
And you can change teams between matches.

I just finished fighting the E4, and I didn't get around to ev training them...
I'm so glad I got Pokerus. I was EV training and felt like quitting when I went into a Pokemon Center and they told me how lucky I was.
EV training is easy.
For example, for Alakazam:
1. Use 10 Carbos and 10 Calcium.
2. Use Power Lens and Power Anklet and fight 38 Pokemon that give one Sp. Atk EV or one Speed EV each (or 19 that give two)
3. _________
4. Profit!

I used Electrode, Kabutops, and Parasect the first match and lost. The second match I used those three plus Dunsparce, Porygon2, and Omastar. My only regret is that I didn't get to use Dunsparce properly.
