uh, we're required to be in the class to take the AP test

Pretty sure you aren't. I know you aren't here. My APWH would tell us about how people that didn't take his class would sign-up for the test, though they usually fail it.
It's your money. If you want to pay for it and take the test, I don't see why they'd stop you.

That was never a rule for me when I was in school. If I wanted to, I could take the AP English 4 exam even though I took regular English.

I don't think I can do that in my state.

that was the funnest class actually out of all that i was taking considering the courses allowed
you guys on dickens? great expectations was a whole bunch of unconnected mess honestly, i liked it when i read it but i hated it after when going at it in class because it was just serial plots in one whole garbage pile of a setting
