While the world got Super Mario 64, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro, the Saturn got no original Sonic game. Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 were decent for the time, but have aged absolutely terribly. This was the last time Sonic mattered.

The only thing that's funnier is people trying to say that Unleashed has good parts, or that Colors or Lost World are anything other than mediocre and outdated.

People trying to compare the "good" Sonic games to Mario games always make me laugh.

They're no Galaxy, but Colors and half of Unleashed are still good. Can't speak for Lost Worlds.

If it's no Galaxy, why wouldn't I just play Galaxy? One of the best platformers ever made versus a forgettable experience?

Agreed, but coming from someone that speedran and 100%'d Unleashed, I will say that the day stages once mastered are a blast to play. The night stages are terrible and I'd never wish them upon anyone, but the day stages? Fun stuff, even if it isn't for everyone.

I also played Lost World's demo the other day and it was mildly entertaining. I didn't suddenly want to get the game or anything, but if the rest of the game plays like the demo did I don't really see why its considered absolutely terrible. I mean, have you played Sonic 06? That's terrible. Not this.
