Title: A bit of bad news...
Post by: Silverhawk79 on December 28, 2008, 12:52:11 PM
See, my and my brother share Steam accounts. He's usually playing WoW, so I'm usually able to play TF2 and such all day long.
Well...he got Left4Dead for Christmas, which means when he logs in to play it, I'm kicked off. Basically, I won't be playing TF2 quite as much. The good news is that he works fairly often, so I can still play it.
tl;dr I won't be on TF2 quite as much.

Because he got the Orange Box and I don't want to have to buy TF2 + HL2 + Portal + all the other games on the account myself. D:
Not to mention all the achievements...

TF2 is $9.99 right now because of that sale. That's pretty cheap.

And, ever heard of achievement servers? Some achievements I could never get I had to get on those things. It's simple, really.

I'd like to earn my achievements legitimately. Also, I'd have to add myself to a bunch of groups and add a ton of friends...it's such a hassle.

Oh, well, I was playing L4D earlier. :B
It runs fairly well.
But it's also hampered now by lack of internet connection.
Don't expect to see me for a while.

if you have duo core, Left 4 Dead generally runs better than TF2.

At first it does, for the first 30 minutes or so, but then it tends to bog down and lag really badly...but then again, I'm on an integrated card, so that's to be expected. I'm hoping the TF2 update including dual-core support comes soon.
