Does anyone know if the GHIII guitar will work with GHII?  I want to get GHIII with the guitar, and then buy just the GHII game later.  I emailed RedOctane about it and they told me the GHII guitar works with GHIII, which wasn't what I asked.

You're talking about the Xbox 360/PS2 versions, obviously, correct?

Well, the GHII SG was backwards compatible with GH, so there shouldn't be any reason the GHIII Les Paul/Pacer shouldn't be compatible with GHII.
