I've been gone the whole day and I couldn't vote.

Hector sat in his hut, shading a mountain range he had explored earlier that morning.
This really was an odd place... how far had he been blown off course?

He had asked the townspeople to decide who they should execute based off of their actions.
Just as he had expected, very few had come forward, probably to protect their own necks. The Wise Man walked into the hut as Hector put away the unfinished map.

"The villagers, they are confused. Hopefully, a killing will shock them enough that they will try and take action on the morrow."

Hector sighed as he looked at the meager number of votes. No hanging would be held today.

He went to the village center and looked around.

"If you want to live, make sure you reach a majority next time."
Hector walked back to his hut in disgust... he had to prepare himself for the night.

He smiled as he read the lines... here was his chance to test them
